I played some of P4, in japanese when it first came out. Good stuff but I ended up doing something else with my time. Never touched any of the others before that. I'm sure I'd be interested in P3 too. At this point, I'd like to play P4 golden rather than pick up the PS2 game again. But I don't really want to get a Vita either. Maybe when they figure out how to fit a VIDEO OUT PORT on the damn thing... Slightly different but I did love some planescape torment.

What's the key to this? I seem to remember coming up against bosses that were like impossible at the strength I was at without blowing the whatever it was that boosts your gauge way up.

Yeah, I was only talking about Silver Star Story and Eternal Blue. The others, I don't know. I think I downloaded Magic school at some point but I haven't played it. I played all of the breath of fire games and enjoyed all of them. But I didn't finish Dragon Quarter. That was an interesting experiment but it was just too forced. Keep playing the game over and over, death is certain each time but you get a bit farther each time, till the game is over I guess.

Throws basically have a 1 frame advantage against other attacks. You can almost think of it like them having 1 frame of invulnerability on their first active frame. So you can see your 5a go active and still get thrown.

Just gonna repeat this here but lambda's 3c is only a low on the first three hits... I dunno. I thought it was only the first but it's actually the first three. I feel like I remember being able to just stand block after the first hit. oddness. Maybe the 2nd and 3rd hit don't actually hit if the first one is blocked at range or something like that.

Just wanna say that I went to look at the list of compile heart games and was horrified by the list of nothing but B-grade games. Damn.
