You might want to double check I guess. That number never goes down. Konan's has displayed 15 ever since he got 15 (and actually showed as dan 15 in the rankings), even after he dropped to 12 and then to 9 (and subsequently saw people talking about him having dropped to 9 on twitter and such). You'll find lots of players where that number is higher than the one listed in the rankings. Find me one where that number is lower than in the rankings.

Profiles display max dan ranking ever reached, not current.

The low profiling it is really bad. Same in CP, you can see stuff like Makoto trying to dp jin after his fabulous hop, but he went for a 2b and it whiffs. Which he's free to do since 6b is +3.. It's probably totally useless on wakeup if your opponent has a decent low profile move.

What is with your avatar by the way. I can't tell what it is supposed to be. Is that lambda in a taokaka hood or something? I had cripple fights with DE the other day so I've started practicing (1) combo a little bit in my spare time. Going from Tsubaki to Makoto is really weird. Full screen taps of D. Pressing D in the middle of block strings. Terribly bad things to do....

All I can say is the general flow over there seems to be that arbitrary tier lists are kind of pointless and that the results based stuff is better. At least, no one has even bothered to post a new list in ~2 weeks which is extremely odd. I think I saw some rough char population numbers. Here's what I remember. Ragna and Jin are #1 and #2. Azrael and Bullet are also in the top 5. Bottom is rounded out by Izayoi, Carl, Tsubaki, Amane, Relius, Valkenhyne. All of these have about the same number.

The tip to hit the 214A~D just barely in lvl 3 was a good one. but the idea of having to microdash after that to make it universal (On who is this necessary?) still ain't something I'm looking forward to because without the microdash it already seems rather tight.

I had to go back 4 threads / 2 weeks to find an actual tier list that wasn't some kind of 'most loved/when used by newbies/stats based' list But it's still just ultimately the last tweak by 1 person on jbbs. After that everyone started talking about statistics and such. People posting on jbbs are random internet peeps. It's kind of a majority rules thing anyway. People make their own tweaks to the last list posted, then other people notice that they dropped jin to A and call them out for being a Jin player, etc. And the majority of the world hates Tao so don't expect her to show up below S/A in any jbbs tier list for any BB game ever. But recently has been just stats stuff, like I said. People compiling info from the players guild site.

Like I said, Jiyuna hasn't tweeted a tier list recently. If he tweeted it, then I think he deleted it. It doesn't resemble any recent list from jbbs. Most lists from jbbs don't bother with a C. it's S to B. but usually there's an A+, or something. I'm not sure if there's been a normal tier list posted on there in a while. Recently it has been more people posting stats, how many players above certain dan rankings by character, max dan ranking by character, etc. Also, any tier list ultimately reflects what the current state of the game is. So for new characters to be at the bottom is unsurprising and also totally legitimate.
