Also, without HD mode the scale is hugely tipped in the other person's favor if they are leading in number of characters. It is a comeback mechanic balanced with a huge cost of losing a lot of resources on a single character. Meaning you are going to have to play extra solid after you use your HD and meter since you don't have all those resources that could help you get out of tough situations like invincible ex moves, Guard cancel blow back, etc. I do think HD is dumb when it comes down to both sides last character. Since the match can be decided by a single light attack into a 0 to death combo.

Chipp can also glide if you frc an alpha blade in the air. On Tekken: I'm gonna play it regardless if there is a scene for it here or not. I'm used to being part of a dead scene (blazblue). If I become passionate enough for the game I'll drive out to memphis and play with those naggers. If not, I'll just netplay if I have to.

Tekken is pretty complex from what I've read on the system mechanics and how you open people up in that game. I'm probably going to make things easier on myself and learn simpler characters like Lars and Forest so I can get the general feel of Tekken down.

It has pair play. One of the biggest reasons why I am so excited for it. Team oriented gameplay adds a whole new dimension of fun to the fighter experience.

I promised to learn a 3d fighter eventually so I'm going to learn TTT2. It looks fun and I like that you don't have to press a button to block lol. Steve and Hwoarang seem like a fun combination. Master of Fists and Master of Kicks

With the way school is going right now I have to cut down my free time to little to none. I can't go to tournies because saturday is one of the three days i work during the week and that's a third of my paycheck i can't afford to lose out on. Fight nights are on school nights, and my research is occupying more and more of my time outside of classes. I'll be able to make it out if there is an event on holidays or breaks. Until then that's one less Akihiko to worry about....that leaves like 5 or 6 more LOL.

I like fighting games, but I don't like it to the point of wanting to compete at the national level. Being all competitive and stuff sucks the fun out of games for me.

Wow I think in BBCP they are remixing everyone's themes cause in that vid Jackie posted you can hear Jin's theme and it has a more violin thing going than a piano thing. and in the Bang forum someone said that Bang's theme got remixed. That's awesome I was getting tired of the old themes.

I know what Astaroth's data is. I am telling Milln that it's -7 on block based on the dustloop wiki page. Therefore one can come to the conclusion that the -7 in Astaroth's post is the frame advantage on block.

If you look at any character's frame data and click on the blue colored words "Static Difference" they define what it means: "The difference in time an attacker and a defender can begin moving again after blocking an attack."

...lol complaining about Kanji. I play akihiko and i find the matchup a lot more tolerable if you just stop trying to press buttons and just move around more. If you spend more time baiting his command grab and dp then trying to do small mix ups that net you small amounts of damage one solid read in baiting his command grab or dp is equal in damage to a bunch of small combos that require multiple reads and multiple attempts at putting yourself at a big risk. Hell even on wake-up it's as much of a r/p/s game for him as it is for you. There is no such thing as a one sided r/p/s game...it's just you being predictable and read by a good kanji. If anything go balls out on him before he goes into awakening since the risk is a lot less and get as much damage in as possible. Tager is much worse. He can build ridiculous amounts of meter and break 3k without using meter. His magnetism made his 360's safe on whiff because you jumped and just flew to the other side of the screen and off an atomic collider he gets a hell of a lot more damage than kanji's anti air grab. Kanji does not have a jab or any normal that puts him at +4....tager does. And lol wait till GG drops in October, you thought kanji was bad(which he isn't)...Potemkin shits on all grapplers everywhere.
