  2. The idea is basically that beginner advice should also work if you just sit down to play your friend across the street, too. Saying PURPLE THROW x N IS SO LEGIT might make someone win playing zero connections, but in offline/worthwhile connections, that's not gonna fly since people will tech it on reaction (barring Throw Reject Miss and playing against Dacidbro).

  5. From a /lot/ of midscreen positions, you'll end up in the corner with your opponent without spending charge, which is legit as fuck. Compare that to the level zero no charge, 5bb>2bb>5cc>236a>214a>22a. Done from midscreen, that may put your opponent in the corner, but it will /not/ put you there. Big difference. And since when does Ciel have a command grab? Is that H or F moon, or something?
  6. The DP whiff combos give superior damage and, more importantly, superior positioning -- at a lower charge cost. You want them.

  8. Yeah, online rapes whiff combos hard. You can pretty much see how much input delay there is by how high the whiff starts, lol And then there's the dash link, which is tight enough already.

  10. It looks like most of Noel's D attacks should lose to moves that hit/low have foot attribute, except 2D. Someone should double check me on that, though.
  11. Including "manual" airdashes, I meant. If it meant the difference between being able to buffer and not being able to buffer, I'd do 9566 buffered all day long.

  13. I'm starting to get the whiff, at least. It's just buffer abuse. Buffer 623C during 5c and 5cc, put in 214a around when 5cc ends. The dash part is still a pain, though.
  14. For the Ragna mirror: j.D was okay at best in CS, but in CS2, it's bad compared to 2d/5d. I wouldn't use it in neutral because the landing recovery makes you get blown up. Respect Dead Spike if you're hit with it. It's +3, and whatever Ragna tosses out afterwards is going to stuff you unless you use something with good range and f1 invul. Jumping out/backdashing out is fine, just don't press buttons unless you want to eat CH. Don't autopilot 5B into 5BB. It's asking for pain. I know from experience (>_<). I didn't see much AAing. 2C, godlike anti-air, etc. You only did it once, iirc, but it still bears repeating; don't chicken block without barrier in CS. Use more consistent confirms and pressure, etc.
  15. 2D is fastest if you have a lot of time, because it starts slow and then gets /very/ fast after the first few moments. For short amounts of time, 5D is better. With 5D, note that just holding down the button isn't optimal. With 5D, the install guage will increase fast for a bit, then slow down, and then you'll stop charging automatically; what you want to do is stop about when the gain begins to slow down, and hit 5D again.

  19. That Astral combo is infamous (to me, at least). Early in CS2's life, some Tsubaki astral'd Kaqn with that. Shit was lol Is there any way to make it one smooth motion? Basically, can we cheat and do 623©214a instead of 623c5214a?

They increased the frame advantage on her normals in general so that they gatling without the gaps they had before, and then the IB nerf just works in conjunction with that to make it so they're not free to punish on IB. And yeah, don't overlook CA. It's less useful since Tsubaki actually has reliable anti-pressure moves now, but it's still a really good option.
  23. CS1 Ragna burns RCs like no one's business to keep people scared. There's a reason for that.
  24. Didn't I mention that OS throw tech is blown up by TRM? That's only a problem once your opponent realizes what's going on, though. And once they do, it's just a different level of mindgames.
