Weekly News Post NEC is coming up, and with how this last tournament went I really need to grind harder. I'll be hosting Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (so, NOT Wednesday). 7pm at the earliest, I'll kick you guys out at 11:30 or so (Friday will still be 6:30 to X am). I'll focus on mostly BB, but also GG, DFC, and UNIEL, so not playing anything else until after NEC. Anyway, just show up if you want to play, I'll be doing training mode if no one shows up. Maybe Sunday afternoon/evening too if anyone's interested. heh, I remember entering all the games at umad this year. As long as you're not running brackets it's not too bad. about all the side games, I realize there were many, but I don't like the idea of cutting them out. I'd suggest either : -Better planning in terms of which stations there will be, and what games will be running on them, for what period of time (with a decent buffer). Just to see if it's at least realistic. -If not, switching to a single elim format would probably be ok for some of them, since I don't think anyone is travelling specifically for them.

Question about DFC, are we allowed to change assists even if we win? Kind of like arcana.

Weekly news post 1. Trois-Riviere expedition at Nedel's I believe the plan was me, Brice, Bibi, Airmaster, and maybe Kirbster. Can you guys confirm your attendance? Jon, can we use your car to get there? If not we can always use my parents', but it means we need to get to St-Bruno first, which is around 2h by bus from my place. Plan is to get there around noon on Saturday, then leave not too late after supper, since Air has to work and I'm going to a friend's housewarming party. 2. New game comes out this week : Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax I don't know who else is, but I'm getting it. I think it'll be out by Thursday, so I was thinking of hosting an additional meetup this week, if people want to come try mashing in this game or something, on Thursday. 6:30pm at the earliest, I'll also ask ppl to leave around 11pm, since I work Friday. (If people want to play other games that's def possible too I mean I'll only have one station for dfc) Anyway, let me know if you're interested in coming, since it's on a day we don't usually host (rip), I'd just like to have an idea. 3. Regional teams gets my vote. Something like the 5v5 from Guilty Madness would be awesome. As much as I like hotel room casuals, if we have an opportunity to use a ballroom I think it would be much more convenient. I can provide at least one setup.

Heads up for this week, there won't be a meetup this Friday, we're busy. The meetup will be moved to Saturday instead. We have some plans in the morning, can't say exactly when we'll be ready to host, but I think 4pm would be a safe bet. November 22nd, it's a Saturday. There's still space if you want to come, it's one of those leave in the morning return in the evening kind of things, pretty cheap. @Krakatoa : Any chance of a DFC side event (maybe even free? idc). Game's coming out next week iirc. Could be fun since it seems really easy to pick up, and there's a good chance people will recognize a character or two if they've ever watched anime.
