Approximately. What we'll do is create pools around ~10 minutes before the tournaments start, but there will most likely be a lot of byes that can be filled if anyone was to arrive slightly late (these spots are limited and not guaranteed). Please show up at least 30 minutes before the indicated time to be safe, or let us know (in this thread) if you're going to be late and want to be added. There will be setups for casuals, money matches or whatever (planning on having at least 6). Also, if anyone is curious, side tournaments are happening. They may or may not be free entry (with bonus prize either way), depending on who shows up. There is no schedule for them, but I think we will start with Gundam more or less around the same time Blazblue starts, and soon after KoF13.

Bringing a setup for hotel room casuals might not be a bad idea, but we should be good for the event in terms of setups. edit : actually a couple power bars might help, it's always an issue.

I thought Bell's scumbag practices were common knowledge, here's an example. Some relatives had a cellphone contract with bell a few years ago. They really didn't like the customer service and thought it was too expensive for no reason so they decided to switch to videotron. However, since videotron bills it with the internet, phone, and tv to save, they had to wait until the next month to start with them, and asked bell if they could continue their contract for that extra month, to which they were told that it was ok. After switching to videotron, they got the bill from bell for that month, and it was 600$+. They called and it wasn't a mistake, and there was nothing they could do about it... And bell still calls every now and then to know if they'd like to go back with them.

Hm, my plans for tonight got cancelled. I guess I'll drop by after work around 6:30, I'll probably buy something to eat, since my plans included supper anyways, and wait for people to show up. Don't have a stick nor game with me. If no one shows up it's cool, I'll try to get some SF or marvel practice for MAT.

Nedel, Mortified, Bluenine, if you guys need a place to stay, I can offer my living room on friday and saturday (and sunday if needed). Livewire, I'm assuming you're either staying with DerQ or with the other Ottawa people. I already have Digital Watches coming, and I offered it to Deadliest as well, I don't know if he still needs it or not. I think I can fit 5 maybe 6 people in my living room (2 futons, a sofa, and probably and inflatable mat or something). Anyways, let me know when you can so I can offer this to others if they need it. Ottawa people.. Some advice, if you guys can find a designated driver, maybe you guys can drive in and out on the same day, kind of like how we do it when we go to Ottawa. Bus might also work, megabus terminal is like 10-15 min walk from the venue. It's going to be really hard to find a hotel I think. once again, next year, we won't pick the only weekend of the year where it's almost impossible to book a hotel ;_;

Thanks to everyone who showed up yesterday, I think it was kinda hype. Sorry for keeping everything short, just haven't done a tournament in so long and wanted to make sure we could do it. The 5v5 was better than I expected, should we run these kind of things more often? Thinking of doing something similar Sunday since Brice will be back. Also, exceptionally, I won't be there tomorrow.

I don't think the gundam necessarily need to be up very long. I mean, we tried a bunch of configurations so far(ex: 4 gundams wired : no lag, 3 gundams wired + stream : no lag), and really just want to make sure that 4 gundam wired + stream doesn't lag, and what kind of quality we can get use on the stream. Bibi has offered his phone's internet as a backup, seeing as it should be good but isn't guaranteed, but we really want to make sure. It doesn't have to last the whole evening, anyways, all the people who would show up for gundam play other games as well. That said, sundays are also pretty empty in general, no? So even if we dedicate 4 evo monitor setups to them, there's still 2 left for tournaments (assuming no one else is using them, which is usually the case on sundays I think, except for the times MK and SC stayed later), and the arcade cabs are there for casuals, until we put away the gundams.

" Airmaster lives in hochelaga-maisoneuve, I live in cotes des neiges, kirb lives in anjou, and bibi lives in saint-leonard.
