Heh, you're right. I just wish I could see EX Tsubaki frame data though. It'll make things easier for me to understand. I'm more keen on seeing that rather than investigating combos for Tsubaki atm.

I'm pretty sure that was definately immediate. Isn't that how 236D-214D is supposed to come out? A delay would result in nothing coming out, or you'd even visibly see Ragna exit blockstun. I hope i'm wrong though. That was one of the useful tools Tsubaki used to get in easier, and having it nerfed means she's gonna have a harder time in general. I would hate to use the move and then easily be put back on the defensive. You're just making it easier for them to pressure you and in the case where it was Ragna, we don't want that at all. With the J.214B dilemma, seems like the case that is has invincibility. It would definately help in escaping AAs I guess.

I'm surprised he didn't do 6CC - 236D the second time... I'm more concerned about Ragna getting a 2B hit during Tsubaki's 236D - 214D which is tight even on IB. Tsubaki getting hit like that, most likely means they may have reduced the frame advantage of 236D.

The parry only bugs me during 5CC. For example I'd IB 5CC and then go in for pressure. Then they'll start doing 5CC - parry, and btw, I only went in for pressure because I have this continuous thought that I can punish it on IB but I'm always proven wrong. Apart from that you shouldn't really worry about the parry unless you're predictable. The parry loses to lows. What Omni said in the previous page is useful too because there were times where I managed to land 5B and was clueless as to why that happened. You're slightly ok at neutral. She has 5B to beat ours at max range I think; she has 3C to use if you're getting predictable and she could use asteroid vision to jump in. You shouldn't get too focused on charging at this range. You'd want to either find ways to get in, or get out. From far you should be fine, but the only problem you have is comet cannon. If you block it you usually give time for Makoto to come in and rush you down, especially if you jump and block it. You can easily get over this by reacting with an air dash and getting a hit with JC - combo. Obviously she won't always shoot it, or even shoot it that far so you gotta keep an eye out. Watch out for resets she can do too during asteroid vision, and as a matter of fact you should always block high after the 1st hit. You'll block the overhead if they do it, and unless they slightly delay the low or RC after the hit, they can't combo from it (but the latter still puts you in a defensive position). This is another matchup I'm not particularly fond of, and I definately don't think it's in Tsubaki's favour. Tsubaki only has the tools in this matchup to get in, and she can't even afford to try to keep her out with 5B. Makoto does more damage, better pressure, possesses good oki in the corner.

What if 5C had invincibility? It would explain why it went through Tao's CA. If it's hitting air opponents too, then it may be a good AA now? Since it has more range and a bigger hitbox...

If you use 6A against Tager you're asking to be thrown. It's not hard for Tager to react to at all.

How would you approach Tsubaki having the intention to not let her charge whilst approaching her carefully?

I find it extremely difficult to have a concrete discussion without alot of changes going on. But I can say it looks like we'll have to work alot harder in our combos.

Ultimately I guess I'm just stingy, but I do like change and I'm really looking forward to anything new with her! Of course I'm entertained though! I really can't wait to see future vids.

Unfortunately I was never big on using Mugen because I believed getting a certain amount of damage (being little) at the cost of some stock and 50% heat wasn't worth it. It is why I haven't been completely looking forward to what they have done with it in EX. However, it does call for change, and I must adapt, so I will use it. On the side note, it means more varied and flashy looking combos all doing higher damage. I can't really be stingy with EX Tsubaki it seems haha.

No problem. It's likely you hit the opponent with J.214C because you slightly delayed it. Or unless it was against Tager haha.

The 623C - J.236D - J.214C has to be input quickly with no delays. 5BB also makes the timing a little more strict. Also, 2 charge midscreen: CH 236D - 6CC - 214D - 5C - 2CC - IAD J.CC(delay) - 5B - 2CC - 236B - 214B - 22B (4.4k)

Ah of course 3C is 'safer' the further we use it. Why didn't I realise sooner? It would seem 'semi decent' to use from a good set distance, and it some cases we could score a FC. Then again it will be dependant on the character we're playing against. I'm also not used to 6C delivering a normal CH nor am I used to seeing Hakumen's 4C charge, lol. I would've loved to see more corner combos from that Tsubaki though. 623C - J.236A - J.214D - JD - JC - stuff....I wonder if that's the main thing here now in EX.

I'm already quite bad. Ask Hexanoid for instance. You can. It's easier on CH but normally, you'd have to be quite low when connecting the J.C. You may also have to dash to get the 5C in. J.C - 5C is way better than doing J.C - 5B - 5CC.

236D does not work from the max range unfortunately. All a matter of practice dude. Yea you're right I did not because I didn't mean to insult you whatsoever! I only meant it like that because you have been the only who has said it's unreliastic and I do not want to dig deeper to find out what you interpreted from my statement. I saw your play a long time ago and I liked the way you played and even praised you. I don't know what would change my mind to this day to finally insult you. Although I feel this should come to a close otherwise it'll get unecessarily bigger. You find it unreliastic, that's ultimately fine and I do not intend to dispute with you as to why it isn't. I will however leave it at the fact that I like giving optimal stuff. The easier and more practical combos are already listed there and like I said I'm trying to provide a challenge for those who want to opt to level higher.
