  11. I would not advise playing a defensive style with Tsubaki because her defensive options are pretty bad and you're giving you're opponent more opportunities to take advantage of this. You would have to be good and honest with blocking and that's difficult against characters like Valkenhayn. Of course, you are free to play however you wish. Generally, if you're far with Tsubaki, you have the time to charge, whereas if you're only a few steps away from your opponent, you would back away or dash in and use 236D to get in, or 5B (has the most range and it's her best poke), but this comes down to which character you're playing against. For example if it's Valkenhayn in wolf mode and he's close, I like to use 236C/D, but if it's Litchi, you wouldn't want to go in and attack because her pokes have longer range than ours when she has the staff equipped. If it's Lambda, you would want to do everything in your power to get close to her because she can really cripple your getting in options. The wiki has a few tips on how you can play more aggressivley, like utilising different kinds of pressure. Have a look and see if that helps. Also, in the FAQ, answers to questions 5 & 7 may help you.

  13. But she can't charge any stock in mugen mode. Well, unless you GC when mugen has literally run out (or is about to), then yup, you're right dawg. Edit: It's no problem PK. Just figured that since I'm posting here I better do something about it lol.
  14. Yea that's what I figured, but I mean at least she would still have a reversal, unlike some others. I'm really looking forward to her gameplay now. PK dw about updating the front page.
  15. She's sounding better. For one Mugen now sounds like it has its usefulness outside of combos. There seems to be a bigger emphasis on setups, for example, D Projectile > 236D releases an aura, and you can use that blockstun (or stagger) to go for a followup full charge 22D to guard crush. You could go for a CT at the cost of using 25% heat and less range, or use mugen setups by using 50%. Either way Mugen sounds more useful. Thanks dawg. Edit: Oh shit you ninja'd me with more info! I thought 623C was a viable reversal for her to use, but seeing that she has none w/o charge seems rough. She gets a full IAD combo from a 6A?!

  17. That's funny Errol because with those loops I would advise anyone to ask you or BatousaiJ haha. Trust me when I say doing loops are hard in that kind of connection but I'd rather learn the timing rather than going for the normal combo. I want my Tsubaki to look snazzy, and thanks for the compliment lol. But yea, if ya need any help Vosetri, shoot.

  20. So it's confirmed that P4A will not be hitting EU in 2012. So by the time I'd like to challenge you guys, you'd probably be bang on CP.
  21. Throw > 236C > 214B > 22B > 6C > 22B. The 6C > 22B/C will only work if you manage to get them to the corner, but that only gets the damage up to 1.9k lol. TGR's 1 charge combo can be slightly optmised by using dash 5C > 2CC. The wall carry Tsubaki's throw combos provide are amazing.

  23. In all honestly I think all of you are pretty good! TD, Eshi and Giovanni are extremely solid and I think Synthesis and Elochai have improved A lot. Don't think I didn't notice that stupid near death combo you did Elochai lol. Good shit but if I probably would've gotten a little hyped if you used the Bufu > AGI > Garu/JC ender to kill. Bace is not from this planet but my only critique of him is that he is lazy. Haha!
  24. Seriously? You know what I like about watching all you players? That you all have this distinct style of play that makes it very interestng to watch. If 2C was air unblockable, I can guarantee that because the mixup is so easy most of you guys would be doing that and it would be no different than watching Mitsuru. It would be very repetitive and monotonous. I'm not saying she shouldn't have an air unblockable 2C because it'll make her more boring btw. I like the variety in you guys, but that mixup would be way too easy, not to mention she gets a heck of a ton of damage from a 2C starter, and it can easily lead to death combos in the corner especially. Obviously I don't have the game which is why I'm watching what I'm saying, but if they made 2C air unblockable, I would suggest that they nerf it in some ways, something reasonable like lessening the damage she receives from it. I think we all agree with Bace's idea that her CA should be better, as she's pretty bad defensively.
