Just for comparison sake: Tsubaki 5A/2A - Startup 6, Active 3/Startup 7, Active 2 ---- Noel 5A/2A - Startup 5, Active 3/Startup 6, Active 3. Even the hitboxes are both comparable on both attacks for both characters(I looked I was already on the wiki~). I do not see it being relevant to which character is doing it(in this case) but you never know. I could be wrong. Anyways, thank you for that bit of insight Akira.

That's a fair bit of helpful advice. I appreciate it. I have just delayed learning this stuff since I had 2 other characters to overhaul combos on as well(Noel/Mu). I was always wondering why people did a dash in there after the Kishuu. I suppose it helps push them a little farther as well(maybe). I'll try and put some of this to good use over the weekend. I proposed an idea for ammending notation a bit in NVG but no one seemed to notice. It's not super relevant to Noel so much anyways. With all the small delays that are in Haku's combos though, I thought it might help to represent them via a "." or something. Example Kishuu/Enma >. j.2C > 2C > blah blah. If it's a long delay maybe add 2 ".." or something. Maybe something more visible? It was just a thought I had. It isn't anything that needs to be taken seriously though. Thanks again everyone for the input.

I guess I'll just find the one that works for me. I have just been sticking with my fundamentals and terrible combos for so long. I need to upgrade this crap. Thanks Mac!

What is the difficulty between those though? Some combos are just not worth trying online. But I would prefer both of those to a Renka>IAD>disaster-in-my-hands combo I think. I really should get around to trying these new combos out. @.@;

Post Renka(midscreen) is it better to do one than the other? Both seem bizarre to land. Granted I haven't practiced it a whole lot as I noted earlier. Heck I never did get the extended corner loop to work right in CS2.

I DO use a lot of throws in my neutral game. If this is the case it might explain what I've been experiencing. I can't say that is it 100% but that definitely holds a lot of water in my case. Thanks for that bit of advice. To be fair though I haven't hit training hardly at all with Hakumen. I had to relearn Noel and Mu to major extents first. I should give the white void his day in the sun soon I suppose.

Well I got half of them out(3) since there was a concern about long-term nerve damage. This is what happens when you wait until you are older to have these removed. Anyways, I don't think the procedure was that bad necessarily. Unfortunately this means I'll have to go back in a couple of weeks to get the other 3 removed. Netplay tonight anyone? Blinky? Perhaps anyways.

While I never did that above combo. I did do the corner loops and the dustloop midscreen. I figured my timing was off a bit is all. Every time I went from fj.2C > 2C they would tech out. It's probably just my error but I wasn't sure if there was a change or not. It shouldn't be too hard to get the hang of it again I guess.

I have a question born from ignorance. Was the untechable time for for j.2C reduced or am I just THAT out of practice with these combos? It just seems to me that I am dropping that loop a lot more lately than ever before.

Ya Spain is a little far away haha. It was still pretty fun though. Despite loathing mirror matches. I actually played HexaNoid(who is in London) with very little lag back in the last game/s. CSX seems to betray everything I had hoped for in netplay. I think I need to stick to simpler combos instead of the longer, more-damaging ones I know. Kind of sad really. :/ Tomoyo wore her glasses in a few episodes towards the end of the original Clannad. I forget if/when/where she wears them in After Story. Just FYI the current theme in NVG is glasses. So that's the reason for this avatar(courtesy of Lord Pwnage for cleaning the original image up where I was unable to). Time to get some sleep. I'll try that tomorrow after work. I thought about adding more inputs but it got really unstable near the end of it. I wasn't sure it would handle anything more. Same results on counter-hit even. Noel doesn't need CHs I guess.
