I am only privy to netplay presently. Although a bunch of us are fighting tooth-and-nail to develop a scene in IL. Last night was the first meet in Chicago(although I was unable to attend that one). So....eventually I hope to play lots of things offline. The more I netplay the more I /facepalm. It's all I have though.

LOL!! I am worried that, since the PSN outage basically killed all the hype for AH3, an AH4 release may not occur for us. That would stink. Also, <3 Heart.

I thought I was the only one that liked AH3 that much. I just like the speed of it. A 3 round match can be over in 1.5 minutes! It was really hard to get used to the hit-confirming in that game though. I will probably start my weekly casuals back up soon.

Like I said I don't play many Fionas. So I never caught on to all of her properties(or lack of). >.>

I get away with doing this way too much. No one suspects a light poke and a "dropped combo opportunity" that leads into an air-tech that gets grabbed with a follow-up. Good list by the way. It's netplay. It is functional but far from perfect.

Well after fighting the new-and-improved Tager I am pretty impressed at his ability to pressure and wreck face. I can swear his 2D covers more distance too. When I noticed Collider gave him 10 heat I pretty much shit a brick. That doesn't even count the rest of his absurd heat gain. Very insane changes lol. I was actually going to suggest something around "last weekend of the month" but now I don't have to. Glad you guys had fun. I can definitely make plans for the 31st I think. Unless something comes up....

Oh wow Ve is attending? He's a rock star. I am definitely going to try and make it next month. Hopefully having an extra person, or possibly even 2, in tow as well. I have to find as many suckers as possible to jump into the void of fighting games.

Well if you get "counter-hit" out of your Gold Burst wouldn't it still send the other player flying? Outside of certain ridiculous DDs that is. It was never relevant in MTW's case since that eats everything. Except the one time I saw Ashura(clash) > Daifunka beat it for the win. One of the craziest things I have ever seen.

Do you guys get a lot of people hanging onto bursts to use them as reversals? I find them to be so bad against Tager I'd rather use Gold for an easy-in. However, I heard Gold Burst got worse. Kind of sad.... That's just something I do. I am a pretty low-tier player though. :/ Axis if you're ever on PSN I would like to play you some time. Also Dango > Magnet. Not by a lot but it's a sad reality we should all accept.

I'm always down for some Arcana Heart 3 Shin. Monday nights are, at least for now, entirely impossible for me. Need more venues in Central-ish IL as well. Maybe I will rent out a building and make a place haha. I can dream...

Well I am a definite no-go for this weekend. They just posted Saturday work(which is technically Friday night). However, I do not feel like blowing my one day off by driving 6+ hours for any reason. I hope you guys can understand. I work a lot more than most people do on this board so my time is much more constrained. Although I did talk my buddy into agreeing to go whenever I am able to make the trip. He's not much of a fighting game lover but he definitely enjoys some MK9.

I seem to have a lot more problems with purple grabs myself. To me those seem absolutely unbreakable! I should just play offline more....against the AI since there's no one to play with.
