  1. I didn't know that. The reason I ask was because the local Pot here keeps getting thrown while under disc pressure/mixup. I thought that if Millia can throw you, can't you trow her. I can't specify exactly when. All I see is Millia gets a KD then starts her poke game or starts with a disc.
  2. Dunno where else to ask this but... If Millia performs her mixups with the disc and then does command roll>throw... Can she be thrown? IIRC you can't throw someone in blockstun.

  5. So.. Has anyone been using these tick throws/setups? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDRW-OoseNI
  6. Thank you!!!! Finally! I've been searching for #R and XX/ vids for a long time.
  7. WTF?! You can't be serious?!!! That was one of my favorite accounts. It even had the GGXX strat guides! This is a sad day indeed.
  8. Okay... I said: -lacks priority READ trying to do one can result it in being stuffed EASILY. -can't be used as a mid range attack -You're too far away to do anything READ: you can run in but you can still run in under GF FRC or no GF FRC. That isn't unique. Hey you can IAD in too. Those aren't fafnir exclusive... +does big damage on Clean or CH. +Lacks priority but can attain large damage. Hell anymove of Sol's that can lead to big damage will never be called worthless. Not even Dragon Install... I guess I was wrong to point out the OBVIOUS weaknesses in Fafnir. Like the rest of you did with Grand Viper. What if someone comes in here and asks:"Hey 90% of the time I do fafnir it loses? Why?" But fine. Whatever.
  9. I never said Fafnir was worthless.
  10. The only person that could help you out with Shiki would be Purify. Asura.. well I don't think anyone ever played him in NGBC.
  11. Damn... that's what I was doing too. Thx for the info.
  12. You mean Yuki's charged Beast Buster? Which most of the cast can duck under thus eliminating the chance for blockstun? Which allows them to move right after ducking Beast Buster? Which in turn means Yuki has to charge AGAIN? Meaning leaving himself open? :8/: Charging is easy when your opponent is on the ground? Like how Iori/Kaede/Robert/Marco/Terry/Rock/Geese can do ground/low level projectiles that go UNDER Beast Buster which leads to Yuki getting pressured? In turn results in A) Yuki blocking or B) Yuki charging and risking gettin hit and allowing his opponent to get in? Yuki can do damage without charging? Of course. Significant damage however, is something else all together... Yuki isn't as simple as you may believe. Even if you charge using a move puts you back at square one. Doing a charged BB even if it whiffs and you have enough time to charge and do another each gap you present people will take advantage of it. Meaning less and less time to charge. And his guard break string is usless too... unless you don't know how to beat it. EDIT: Here's a match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPFtBnP6Vr4 Yuki wins but what do notice you when he's fighting Iori? Now imagine if that was Marco who has even better pressure... Also note how Kaede can run after his projectile. Yuki is a fun character no doubt but to say he's great at pressuring is a little much.
  13. Jam by far. Millia has a lot of character specific combos. Not to mention Jam has an outrageous damage output...
  14. As Nives listed VV. And 2P. VV can work if you can recognize Pot buster setups...which you need to be able to unless you want to eat a lot of damage easy. I tend not to try other pokes since when I use Order-Sol vs Potemkin I get Pot Bustered out of EVERY ground normal save for 2P and 6K... A funny thing about Potemkin is if his j.D hits you, you can CH hit him after. Grand Viper can be Pot Bustered(Wild Throw can beat Grand Viper too) but the window is when Sol is at the pullback/crouching animation.
  15. Wait do you mean what Pot buster beats or what Pot buster fails to beat?
  16. Isn't that just Jam pressing foward like 3S parry? Her ONLY parry? And this should have been asked in the Jam forums.
  17. What? that friggin sucks.
  18. Hmmm... If one learns to IB Pot's 6HS... should learning to SB it come next? Since SB reduces blockstun to 2F and Sol needs to get in. I know SB isn't easy but there are certain things that should be SBed.
  19. Justin Wong with Big/Kim. I wonder how people will refuse to even try to compete without a Kim or a Big or Big/Kim as their team?
  20. That's why you have VV to hit him before he reaches the FRC point... And well what Potemkin player actually does 6HS FRC in the first place?
  21. Hahaha.... I forgot about 2S.
  22. Hmm..really? I was never able to beat Rensengeki so I thought it was able to beat VV since its a 3 hit projectile whereas VV only does 2 hits. I was able to beat Axl's 5P with Fafnir but that's very unlikey to happen in a real match seeing as how A) It can only be done up close and B) No Axl uses 5P at close range. Also Grand Viper can beat 2P at midrange. Go figure. Also teching against Axl... could be a horrible idea. If you tech its best to FD or VV his 6K. 6K can lead straight to his Axl bomber loop. 6K is Axl's main AA of choice for its range and combo/damage potential.
  23. Ignore that. It was nothing to be taken seriously at all. Besides Axl can beat/punish VV with his counter or Rensengeki. Whereas Sol can beat some of Axl's pokes with VV.
  24. The timing is the thing. Depending on what height you hit your opponent with dp+A you could either 1 or 2 or 3. Pretty much you want to hit them at the point in which they fly off the screen so Kyo can recover fast enough to do 2 more.
