  1. I know for a fact it doesn't home check the coin battle with Faust.
  2. I'm not much of a Johnny player, but from what I can tell his changes are nice, but not extremely helpful.
  3. Practicing everything except Jackhound, which doesn't exist in #R (makes me kinda sad.) Thank you for your help
  4. Other than color schemes, Bridget, Noel and Millia are nothing alike. There really isn't a character like Noel who...I don't even know how to describe what Noel does without it coming of as offensive. Tsubaki can draw some parralels to Order Sol though, but not exactly. Tsubaki's charge is used to do powerd up versions of specials, Order-Sol's powers up his specials all together and you refrain from wasting charge meter be pressing the dust button along with your special. Plus Order-Sol's bar drains all the way when you use a powerd up special I believe, but you can use more as it is draining (cool huh). The other main difference is that Order Sol has action charge, a useful little mechanic that lets you charge by pressing dust after a special. As for tutorials just check character specific forums. Millia and Briget are very different from either of the BB characters you mentioned, and both are supposedly two of the harder characters to learn (don't let that discourage you though, I'm learning Johnny who is really difficult for me). Currently, Bridget is also low teir, but don't let that discourage you either (again Johnny), he's got a lot of really cool stuff he can do, and an unblockable for you to use!!
  5. If it does still clean hit, tensionless fafnir would be nice if someone tries to jump out of gunflame pressure and eats a clean hit into a SW loop. Also, can you actually clean hit someone on block in regular GGAC? I've done it in the psp version so I wonder what properties a clean hit on block does.
  6. Well yeah, but all we saw was a cancel into Tyrant Rave, by the way, now that you can do it for 25% meter, that tyrant rave looks a bit more attactive (not OMG I have 25% tension Tyrant Rave time, but definitely better than having to use 50% of it)
  7. Any word on if normal Fafnir is throw invunerable?
  8. Just checked on my psp, it is the same.
  9. I'm not really sure, I would say no, but I'm not a good enough player to really know or not. I guess it might do more damage than just plain wild throw, but is it worth the tension? I don't even know.
  10. You can only combo into throws on stagger so...only 6HS.
  11. While her mix-up is pretty good, you have to make them respect that mix-up before you really do anything. I'd argue Bang is better, but I just realized this isn't a debate who's mix-up is better thread.
  12. Who pressures with Mami? The only guy I remember who did switched to Litchi when I disrepected Plat's pressure with 2D all the time. I do disagree with Platinum's mix-up being sub par though. I have a lot of expirence with the match up with Bang, so I can escape it easily, but I sometimes weep manly tears for those who don't.
  13. Doesn't the frame data tell us that already? YOu know that whole + and minus thing, though some moves with - are safe when spaced correctly.
  14. This i wish I could sig this whole post.
  15. Well, now that it seems there will be changes in AC+R, might be better off with my old copy of #R for PC because I can use my arcade stick. On the PSP, the pad is worse than a regular PS2 pad. The only reason I decided to use the PSP version was because I thought it would be the same character. Now it seems like a better idea to see what I can transfer over from #R since the character will be different anyway. I know for sure I won't be doing much combo bracticing, but I could try learning mist canceling and the double hop thingy. Anything else, are #R Johnny's frcs any different from AC Johnny? Too my knowledge AC+R Johnny has all the same frcs as AC Johnny.
  16. Maybe it doesn't have forced proration!
  17. I wonder how tensionless fafnir compares to FB fafnir, is it just slower?
  18. Take it from someone who's had a little expirence in the business, it's expensive to make any kind of game. Art is especially expensive, but hey, you need it. Also, mozarella isn't on cheesecake, hence it's not worth eating.
  19. What is the difference between H dandy step and the others? (this doesn't count a theory fighter does it?)
  20. Sounds good. Time to get down to practicing. I should be able to get a few techniques down with my old copy of #Reload.
  21. Wow, I missed a lot, this looks awesome. I can't wait to see what else ASW has up their sleeves. I'm was thinking of playing Johnny, and the new air super looks really cool.
  22. This is a different way to ask, but what qualities do you guys think a Johnny player needs to be succesful (determining if I really want to main Johnny or not.)
  23. I feel the same way often. I try to use it to push me forward. "Why aren't I that good, what could they possibly be doing that I'm not." I try to see why they're good and get what I can from them. "It looks they know when to use move x over move y, I should start thinking more about when to use what poke at neutral". Figure out what separates you from them and then practice, be it in the lab learning execution or out getting match up expirenece.
  24. It's our way of telling you that we miss you.
