  2. Not too sure about Ky, but Sol does have a learning curve as well. SW loops are really spacing dependent for one. We ain't playing Ragna over in Sol-land. Now that I started learning Johnny though, I can say it's not a very steep learning curve, but I'd like to restate, we ain't playing Ragna.
  3. I'm the troublesome Johnny. I'm not to sure of how to do anything with Bridget other than poke, but I can tell you that Jackhound stagger is different if you're in mist stance or in a mist stance dash. The reason you could mash out sometimes was because I got regular or mist stance Jackhound instead of mist stance dash jackhound which has maximum stagger. It was because my execution on MSDJH was bad that mashing out worked sometimes, and got nothing other times.
  4. That stun thing is pretty nice. I really like that one. I think when we get a console version we should be able to see the stun modifier on normals as well.

  7. As I've been told countless times, Mist Cancels are most important, so keep that in mind. EDIT: I almost thought DBFRC was a new Dragonball Anime, my brain is acting weird.
  8. Big changes are new moves like Killer Joker and Jackhound. I'm also practicing in #R, I figured it'd be best just to learn stuff that hasn't changed. Like Mist Canceling (learn this first), Divine Blade FRC, Double Hop/ Wave Dash. I'm glad to see another new Johnny player too.

  10. Good to be back, but I'm going to hold onto the optimistic veiw that lag is what's stopping lame loops from working. Here's how it works, the Japanese are too good, everything is so ingrained into their muscle memory that the lag messes them up to bad to do lame loops. Thats why the have jp only rooms online, too hide their one weakness lag!!
  11. I agree that if Jam stays true to her character design she'll always be strong. Changing that would be enough to make even me (who barely plays Jam at all) mad.
  12. Don't worry too much, we'll probably be getting quite a few new guys, so you should still be ahead of the curve. Plus Baiken was "passively" buffed by all the damage nerfs.
  13. Ahem...I'm going to quote Ky's english vocal theme. "Don't You Get Freaked Out!!" that fits here really well.
  14. You're proabably better off than that, it's just frustrating, but it looks as if Baiken will still be strong.
  15. She's probably still good though. Grounded 6h loop still seems to work, no one's said otherwise. She just has to get her damage in different ways = image change.
  16. I think Jam is another victim of the "image change". She still looks good though.
  17. I think this is just someone confusing #R S MF with AC s MF which always launches behind from what I can tell. Quicker mist sounds extra special awesome, but I think 6k already had upper body inv, but it was in the middle of the move and I don't think it lasted very long, maybe it's longer or starts up quicker now. Double jump after super jump seems wicked, like it'll help with getting in a lot.
  18. I don't think she was really nerfed, but her "style" changed, and that keeps things fresh. Well, she was nerfed a bit, but it's mostly an image change.
  19. I'm thinking of subbing May. I hear she's pretty easy to play, and I need someone to win matches with while I suck at Johnny. The Overhead Kiss change seems a little weird, and I also heard the lame loop was no longer possible. I'm going to guess that cS, Hs does work, but the lag messed people up. Optimisim!!

Didn't see anyone else posting this, so I thought I would!! - 214H : Glitter is gold, New move - 236236H (airbone) : New overdrive - Divine Transport's trajectory changed - Divine Blade changed (?) - He releases the mist quicker now - Noticed 6k pass through horizontal chemical love - Can double jump after super jump (?) - Jackhound still force break - New coin not overhead - New coin causes knockdown on hit in air - Lv2 S Mist finer seems to launch behind him very often, still possible to combo though. (I think it already did that.) Copy and Pasted from the loketest thread.

  22. Just noticed the speed up on Johnny's mist, that seems like it'll be really cool.
  23. Sweet, I've been waiting for this. Also any chance of a video? Edit: Is it just me or did Jam just take a big hit with the 6HS nerf?
