While I agree with the argument being a little too heated, it's makes you sound like you have a "holier than thou" attitude when you call something "pointless", I know it's pointless to you, but it just makes people feel like you're looking down on them calling their arguements pointless, besides the hate has mostly died down, at least in this thread. Seriously, using the word pointless to describe something people obviously have strong feelings for will just stir up more hate.

Also, I wanna point out that Star's got a bit of a point. I think that the biggest pool of people we can introduce to GG immediately are BB players who were interested in GG, but never played it cause the community died. That's basically me (why I only have it on psp), this hate could end up being self-destructive. I'm not saying you have to stop hating, but it'd be more constructive to focus on the fact that GG is good, not that you think BB is bad. Also, since this is coming out, does that mean the GG mods will finally get around to finishing all the unfinished beginner tutorials? Like the Millia one (which is pretty comprehensive already, but last I checked it had empty categories) Anyway, where the Hell can I get a 5$ dbz arcade stick? I have a friend who needs one.

Yeah, it does get pretty exhausting, but still, that's no reason to push other people away from the game. People have they're reasons for hating BB, you're basically saying "your opinion is wrong, you shouldn't hate BB." , people think it's boring, and it in some ways, it killed their game. People have a right to express hate. Also, I've never seen the GG community bash Capcom, only BB. Of course, it's like qwerty says, when this get's released, it's time to put up or shut up. I hope I can put up (I went out an bought an arcade stick in anticipation. Finally 8 hit Grad Vipers without breaking people's psps) EDIT: Also, I'd like to say it again, I liked BB. I'd get CSEX if I had any money left.

So, you're hating on GG, because GG vets hate on BB... weird. Real talk though, they can hate on it if they want. It's kinda like if BB suddenly only had beginner mode to accomodate button mashers, at least in their eyes. You can say that there perception is wrong, but unless you can convince them there wrong (which I SERIOUSLY doubt you can do, I even doubt I'm conivincing you right now). Seriously, you can't stop people from hating, it's the internet. I myself think BB is a good game, but GG is a great game.

I never hated BB, but I have to agree GG is better, it's a billion times harder, but training mode is fun in it's own way. Real talk though I've been practicing my Sidewinder loops on my psp for hours.

I need to draw up a practice schedule to divide time between SG and GG now. I'm so conflicted now!! Well, for now, I've at least got psp GG to mess around with. Still, I'm having a good week. Hopefully they'll put us in as a main event in some of the majors. Too bad I suck at GG, gotta practice!

Well, there goes my reason to buy BBCSEX, I've only had psp GG recently, but now Imma Sidewinder/Puffball the whole universe!! With this and SG I won't have ot buy another game for a long time.

Could I get an avatar where Bang (in the color palette with the orange clothes and dark skin) runs up to Hazama, and then Double Palms him offscreen, then it says my name. I'd like it in standard size also.

I'd agree with Linear, but I'd also like to add that against certin characters, barrier can be the way to go too. Also, rember that 6D should be used sparingly, in my experience, it can be easy to punish in many cases. Of course, I haven't played CSE yet, so that may not be true any more.

Attempted Answer: @phtzan: I think she fits in that category. If you look, nothing on the list seems to go below a C, in that case, B+ would only be slightly above average, which I belive Tsubaki could easily be considered in that category.

I haven't seen this said yet, but that cross loop. Good stuff Kareu. It's awesome, and not very difficult at all. I don't have CSE yet, but it looks better/easier than the old J.4c loops.

Wow, haven't posted here in a while... I think the real reason they got rid of BB was to make room for street fighter x tekken... which looked like a game I might play, then I saw the gem system... Of course, I'm not effected, BB should still be at Final Round, the only big tournement I can go to (poor travel ability, no car).

Cool, round my parts everyone who was into the game before me hates Bang. The newer players like him, but I'm still the only Bang player, Valk is more popular round these parts. there was one Platinum, but I beat him until he switched to Noel, then I beat his Noel into Litchi, and now FRKZ is probably going to beat Litchi back to Platinum in CSE. Teir-whores eh? About noobs, I tried to teach a 12 year old how to play BB. I'm teaching 8 year olds, raising up the next generation to see when their older that there is more than CoD. It helps that I have 2 psps (well, one is borrowed) to teach with during 7 hour AAU track meets. Yes, noobs are important.

Hey don't bash Gear, I'm a million times better at Blazblue, but Gear is still my faveorite, and how are GG characters not unique? On topic, yes, BB is a great competitive game. I don't like most of the characters (Bang, Tao, Tager, Ragna, Arakune, Hakumen, Lambda...those are the only ones I like, unless you count Mu separate from Noel), but I love playing the game. Why people don't play the game, well let me tell you my expirence. I show people Tager, Bang, Ragna, and Hakumen "Oh hey that's cool", then they see Platinum, Noel, Rachel, "This game is dumb". No joke. The game is very Animesque, and a lot of people can deal with that style, Hell alot of the people I try to introduce to the game are anime fans, but moe and loli draw some people in, and push others away. When I first saw the game I wasn't interested at all because all I saw was Noel and Jin. Then Bang popped up, and I loved it ever since.

Look no further, I'm not the strongest player, but I always like playing. I'd like to level up my GG as well

Oh well, I'd have died first rond anyway, now that I'm not scrublike anymore (okay less scrubby than before), I'll try and get myself to that Tension Pulse tournement on the front page. By the way... This is pretty stupid...why nerf one of the lowed tiered characters? Following up throws midscreen is pretty cool though (OPTIMISM!). We better get something good for all these nerfs. Fortuneately, d-nail pressure can easily be made up with more frame advatage all around, but it seems Mori went and became a lolicon (mountain of Platinum buffs). Might be they launch the opponent from another translation, that wouldn't be too bad.

Whoa, just made my combo godlike, I usually use j.B to make combos a little bit easier(bad habit from my days doing netplay on a laggy connection), so using j.4c didn't occur to me. I'll go try this.
