  1. Just how fast is TCL for people to choose teleport > TCL over teleport > 5A/2A? Is any part of the rekkas safe on block? It seems really dangerous to me, yet I keep seeing players do that.

CH 6C > Musou A wiff > 5C was hype enough lol And I was joking about his damage, he gets decent to good damage consistently and can convert max-range 5Cs to 4K with 25 meter I was just expecting more out of 6C, meterless. Yeah Sekka ender looks strong, but I'm talking about stronger combos with reset potential. I would definitely use Musou ender combos often if it meant that I could choose not to end them and go for a reset whenever I want without sacrificing a lot of damage, pretty much like EX Jin. Going for an entirely different route when you feel like resetting would give it away, that's why I'm concerned about maximizing their damage potential.
  3. He needs 25 meter to hit 5K off 6C in the corner? Not so top tier-ish Looking hype though. By the way, Musou (1) has SMP right? I'd just assume that we can't end our corner combos with it because of that, but maybe it having a followup changes things? If Musou (2) works even after SMP kicks in, we could get better combos ending with 6D/j.D > normals > ender (resets yo), since, if it doesn't, we are forced to keep Sekka as an ender while it could be used as a filler into more damage if Musou (2) worked as an ender. I hope you guys get what I mean

Yeah, that's actually possible, since I've always wondered why the "good guys" go against Terumi's gang; all they want is for the world to continue its natural cycle, without loops -which also make beings like Rachel suffer-, and meet its inevitable demise. Sure, their ways are not "correct", but their goal seems fair and there's probably no other way to achieve it. I imagine Terumi near the end of the story, beaten down, explaining in a desperate, yet at the same time Hazama-ish way, how he just wanted all of this endless suffering to end. I guess he could just kill himself (?), but the idea sounds cool.
  5. The input for the dash 6C is 66C, do it in one motion. The timing for the dash is something you'll have to figure out, unless someone can point out any visual cues. If they're too high you might want to hold down the second 6 for a little longer. It's not that hard, I remember the only thing that held me back when I was trying it was the 66C, as I was doing 66 > 4C, which doesn't work. edit: Of course this only works in the corner, if you want to crossunder midscreen do Houtenjin > dash > 66C. I see people occasionally do dash Zaneiga > 66 5B, but don't know whether it's better or not. You can also do dash 5C > 6C in the corner if you're having trouble, that's how we're all gonna crossunder in CP anyway.
  6. It's a universal change, it seems like meter gain scales, pretty much like proration in combos. It's pretty obvious in Haz j.C mash loops, at the end of the combos he often doesn't even get 1 meter per move. To make up for that, some/most moves give more meter then they did in previous games when they're not "scaled".
  7. I don't know the details, but I don't think charging them changes their properties. They probably just consume more barrier on block. tl;tr charging them seems useless outside of combos

  12. I agree, the new combo mechanics seem really weird on Hazama. I only pay attention to him an Jin though, but Jin doesn't have absurd long combos of shit starters. It's not only the 6C; he can get like 3 or 4 j.C reps off command throw, followed by a 5A near the beginning of the combo. On the other hand, I see people doing 2 reps max off decent starters into Houtenjin, which is weird since they obviously produce much less scaled combos. Also, what's SMP lol. I know it's in OD so the properties might change, but SMP is SMP and it was never that lenient. Especially when the new SMP system ruins stuff like Plat's combos which involve two Mamis. After the second one, the opponents tech instantly in the air. inb4 Hazama's combo scaling is glitched and patched

I guess just having a weak point on would condition people to some extent, if they know how much damage they can take from a simple hit-confirm. If they don't, they'll learn the hard way. He's probably gonna struggle against zoners though, I can't imagine him dealing with Nu easily.

  21. I've been wondering since I first read about Azrael's drive if he has to choose between applying a weak point at the end of a combo, or getting some form of oki. Do stuff like j.D and 6D provide knockdown?
