  1. It should work on CP on everyone since it does in EX. The d.6C does hit from the ground up and from a j.D in the air the opponent does ground bounce a bit so usually the d.6C would pick it up everytime even if you try to delay it it still hits. I cant say the same for the new characters but i assume azrael has a hitbox like hakumen in a way with bullets like litchi's and then amane like jin's or relius somewhat. izayoi looks like a mu-12/bang hitbox if i had to guess so i would say it should work on everyone regardless.
  2. I actually was using a similar method with 22B as oki in a sense but you would have to modify your combo to set it up but its only sacrificing about 400~1000 damage it works here and there it does discourages the opponent to roll tech or late tech since it will reset when i do a late 22B again. Glad the concept is still viable in CP mid combo now also for the double fenrir it looks roughly about 2200 all together since it was 5.8k before the double fenrir happened and ended on a flat 8K
  3. And how about the return of the double fenrir ender in the corner. Nice to see its basically back assuming you have OD ready for the setup and its unburstable so it could be used to seal the round for noel in some instances if she in a hurry to finish the round without dealing with wake up games.
  4. Soooo....basically we get 4~5K off an 6B overhead for free meterless....? Jesus she still banking on damage wow O_o
  5. Well there goes the head invuln. Idk why but for some reason I get the feeling something about 5C changed idk why maybe its just me :o And LOL at your signature Luna XD i just now looking at it
  6. Its true i reviewed over it a few times when i had a discussion over it with a friend and i thought i saw it meterless as well until i saw j.4D FC at the beginning and was like "oh...nvm" lol. Also another thing i saw this morning that bothered me a bit was 4D being beat out of from a j.B from ragna at an angle i thought was good enough for 4D to beat. Any comments on this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=IrZOSJvSp0g#t=162s
  7. Well if you look back at the combos that involved going into 214A fron a mid-drive combo following after a d.4D it was a fatal counter that allowed it to happen at the beginning unless otherwise. Every combo that she ever did that didnt RC into a 214A was a FC at the beginning of it (specifically j.4D). But i did also wonder why players were not using a meterless way to do drives > 214A without RC. Then i figured the hitstun isnt as long in the game anymore so its probably not enough for the command throw to land red beat in the combo and would just drop and reset with the opponent being able to duck under it at the last minute. On a side note I am sad to say that perhaps d.6B isnt completely invincible as it got beat by a 2A mash (not completely surprised by this tbh) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUrUHjJUdbs&feature=player_detailpage#t=6634s
  8. Its already stated in the loketest that 5B > 6A > 5B does work she just cant do 2B after the 2nd 5B comes out
  9. Idk i think differently about the 5B > 6A since she still can do 5b >6A > 5B giving you a jump option assuming the 5B was slightly closer than absolute max range and also is an alternative pressure string up close. If its true that 6A > 2B is back then max range 5B > 6A > 2B should be possible as well the 2B should whiff to allow her to 2A, 5B, or micro dash 5A to reset her self and attempt to continue into a pressure but this is theory based on fast execution of the follow up. it might be able to beat out a few reactions if the opponent presses a button.
  10. Perhaps. I have a few things that still bother me about noel. They said she had the new gatlings 5B > 6A and 6C > 6B. However, i have yet to see a noel use theses on block (more specifically 6C > 6B) and its starting to make me wander if the gatlings only works on hit and not on block. If thats the case that sucks alot.
  11. so does this mean our match-ups got better overall...?
  12. Not sure but so far it seems to be decent since she once attempted 236C on a normal block from ragna and he whiffed a 5B as a response trying to punish it and it looked like noel recovered just in time to block afterwards in general. this wasnt off of IB however so im kinda sure it could be punished on IB but both normal and barrier looked safe as far as ive seen
  13. Yeah i'd say they did increase priority on some drives and gave a few some inv frames most notably Spring Raid and d.4D as the primary drive moves that seem to have inv frames since d.4D stopped valks Sturn wolf DD with it and the fact that spring raid has been nailing CHs for noel way more often than in the past even in scenarios that she would normally get hit or atleast trade in. The d.6B im not sure if its inv frames or just priority in general since it "clashes" with makotos dp which i figured would just go through it instead of clashing if it had inv. Hard to say but im gonna be hitting up on her jbb site to see if they have some new stuff regarding properties. Also it is possible to follow up midscreen after Chamber Shot on RC with 5B or 5C as shown in a recent video they both seems to net up to about 2.8K Another side note OD seems to return 2D back to its old self (just incase if anyinw didnt know for whatever reason)
  14. Well if you guys remember a post i made a page or 2 back there was a video of makoto trying to punish noels drives on point after 5D was blocked going into a d.6B overhead. Makoto attempted twice to punish this string at the d.6B part with a dp and both separate ocassions failed with both moves clashing only with makoto still being in the air with a failed dp and noel recovered with enough time to punish her with a CH 6C > 214A > big damage on makoto's landing frames. That alone should make anyone not wanna attempt to punish it in general instead of allowing her to get free 3-4k damage off of trying to disrespect her drive follow ups. thats probably a reason why some choose to block it instead and gives noel a better viability to be able to use drive pressure/mix-ups.
  15. Well i can see this happening just by CT someone who is dumb enough to forget to barrier block periodically and them smack them with a high damage OD combo for free with Mu-12. Seems a bit more plausable than whats being interpreted otherwise for me
  16. Well to be honest i figured she always did even in CP :O
  17. Its not like j.4D change a whole lot or anything...
  18. I thought the same thing after a while but just wanted a second opinion on it to be sure.
  19. Yeah the video was about a few day ago but i just saw them this morning so im late to seeing them.
  20. Ok guys i found a match that gives us a pretty good view of the range on noels j.2C i must say i am pretty pleased that it stretches out far enough decently from a horizontal standpoint. Now we just need to see a vertical hitbox range perhaps and then if its an air overhead. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Dq8MTJ4YZls#t=2143s Also on a side note, why does it strike me strangely when i seen this happen on the CH 5C hit it looked as if makoto kinda had that one imo especially how she came at a steep angle but noel just hit her out of it entirely with 5C even with makoto pretty much ontop of her head... any comments on this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Dq8MTJ4YZls#t=2171s And how about that d.6B clashing with makoto's dp :D get hyped! seems pretty leit now for noel to try drive mix-ups since these 2 occasions happend separately unless makotos dp just simply sucks. it is one of the bad ones but if i remember correctly it still usually would punish noels drives in the past. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dq8MTJ4YZls&feature=player_detailpage#t=2244s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dq8MTJ4YZls&feature=player_detailpage#t=2361s
  21. yeah it looks good at first but then again knowing ppl in america they would wait for a while before teching against noel to avoid resets or setups in general unless they just annoyed at being in her combos in general and wanna get out as fast as possible out of thin patience alone....then otherwise its not that relaible because it puts noel at a guessing game of how your opponent will react to the setup. I suppose it could work againts players who tech a certain way but thats just downloading a player's habits at the end of the day to be able to see if this would work on them specifically.
  22. it looks pretty good the only issue for me is if the opponent could tech high into the air backwards or forward after the wallbounce. it look like they just neutral air teched and could possibly tech a different manner or not tech at all to avoid the oki setup and wait for the real combo ender. if they cant tech in a different manner and only air neurtal tech that would be great i hope this is realiable.
  23. ummm... all i see is litchi vs tsubaki...
  24. Why does this look like a gold burst....? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=B029NrfzZu4#t=77s
