  1. Thanks. It was fun playing you as well!
  2. Maybe this time we will see some higher quality videos of Mitsuru/Shadow Mitsuru. It was hard to view the last ones.
  3. He won't use the 100 heat all that often. They tend to do the 50 heat super that's projectile immune. It can be tricky, but you can punish him with 6B and get good damage and oki. 6A is also a good AA to use. It beats out his j.D if you time it right. 2D and 6D work if he's not close to you, otherwise Terumi wins thanks to his j.D being really good. Yeah, it's also pretty tough to keep Terumi out the entire match. He's way too fast and j.D is way too good. His command throw isn't something I think Terumi will use a lot since it has a lot of recovery on whiff. The annoying part of the match is when he has 50 meter though. I can't tell you how many times that super has won him the game.
  4. GGs to all the kokonoes that let me do long sets with them. GGs to all the Taos that made me want to cry while I was in the corner. I finally managed to do Nu's gravity combo on netplay. Next up, throw combos.
  5. GGs all I played recently.
  6. Sure. I'm done for today though. I'm usually on around 4 p.m EST.
  7. GGs to everyone I played. Nu is finally starting to click. But I still have a long laundry list of things I need to do to get better.
  8. I'd suggest studying this video. http://youtu.be/n3lbkX-LCaI?t=12m23s It's one of the few videos I found of Protos fighting a Tao, there is a Protos vs Isa video floating out there. At any rate, this match up is one where you'll need a lot of experience going in to be successful. You'll have to control when you use your drives, I suggest using your drives at where Tao is instead of predicting where she's going to be. Also, for midscreen, in that video you'll notice Protos spamming 5A, that's mostly to catch Tao doing her cross through or mistimed drives. Everyone has to actually deal with Tao's pressure, so it's not anything specific to Nu. If you're backed into a corner, you'll have to pick spots to slip out, or read when she's going for a throw. Even throw techs are an option to slip out. You'll also want to save as much meter as you can. You'll need all the counter assaults. The goal of the match-up is to catch Tao messing up once, so that you can control her with gravity, and eventually get oki so that she has to handle your pressure. This is not really a match-up you can learn that easily and even me posting this won't help that much. It's an uphill battle until you get her in gravity or wheel oki.

(2) These combos are meterless. The gravity combos have incredible corner carry. (3) Your damage may vary. I end multi-hits earlier sometimes. (4) I recommend tweaking/labbing Nu's corner combos. Some of the smaller hit boxes make 6A > 6C miss, or even make 6A > 5C > 6C miss if your timing is off. (5) For Nu's corner combos, some of the gravity combos to be specific, you may want to skip 5C > 2C > 623C and just end with 236C > 623C because of height when the opponent hits the wall. (6) Most of these combos are set up this way for oki and zoning control. (7) For the midscreen gravity combos, if you're not close enough to make 236C wallstick; I recommend doing 6B > 2C > 2147D > 6A > 5C > 2C > 623C. This way, you'll still get the oki and advantage. (9) No ending mode mentioned because you can choose whichever you prefer at the time. Luna for oki or Dia for zoning control.
  10. midscreen throw: 5B+C > 6D > 6C j.2C > j.236D |> 2C > 6B > 236B > 5C > 236C [4275/30%] midscreen: [25%] 6B > 5A+B > 6C > jc> j.B |> 6A > j.B > jc > j.B > j.C > j.6D > j.236D |> 662C > 6B > 236B > 5C > 236C [4458/19%] corner: 6B > 6D > 5B > 5C > 2C > 6C > j.2C > j.236D |> 6B > 236B > 5C > 236C [3931/28%]
  11. Yes, Growler can absorb all of it.
  12. Hmm, yes, well coming up with Challenge 30 was difficult because finding out how to get 500 more damage than the earlier Nu OD video was a puzzle. So instead of actually doing a 5C starter, I wanted to do as much damage up front as possible. @swd, I never thought about doing 2C > 5C, I just looked at tuka's 6A > 6B and figured adding 5C added too much time. I was under the assumption that time was the thing you had to worry about with a non-FC starter. @Elegant, Nu's damage is pretty good if you land a hit confirm like 2b or 4b. She can transform any of those into 2.5k combo plus oki. With gravity it becomes 3.2 plus oki. With gravity and CT it becomes 3.7k plus oki. And if you're close enough to the wall, you can tag on about 700 damage to some of those combos plus oki. So yes, she does good damage, but getting it can be tough, because you have to risk getting in close range.
  13. Nu Challenge 30
  14. Nu Challenge 30
  15. Nu Challenge 30 The combo is Luna Mode OD > 214D~C > CT > 236D > 236C > 214A > 6A > 2147D > 6A > 6B > 623C > 2DD > 6C > 236236D > 236C > 22A > 236C > 22A > 632146D Fair warning, the damage fluctuates. It doesn't guarantee 9k. It hovers around 8.9k sometimes if you miss some hits. Actual damage is 9058.
  16. I got 2.6K doing Guard Break > dashing 4B > 2DD > 22A > 6A > j.C > j.2C > 2DD > 214D > 5C > 2C > 623C It gives oki as well. @tuka, ah I forgot about gravity. Oh and for her challenge, the most I've gotten is 8.8k. I gave up awhile back. Squeezing out that extra 200 is a mighty tough puzzle.
  17. Aigis only mode changes once in a combo. She never needs to go back and forth. And her staying in orgia after knockdown is basically like Arakune with full curse. The basic combo I've been doing is [Dia] corner 2B > 2C > 5C > 236D > 22A > 6A > 6C > 236D > 236C > 5C > 2C > 632C. [Dia] midscreen 2B > 2C > 5C > 3C > 22A > 6A > 9 > j.C > j.2C > 2DD > 214D > dashing 5C > 2C > 632C. Basically, I've been going for easier combos that let me get 632C ender for oki and shenanigans.
  18. GGs to everyone who bodied me in the online lobby
  19. Personally, I don't think any of the new characters (save for Kokonoe) are a bad match up for Nu. Her old bad match-ups are probably still the same.
  20. Take what I said with a grain of salt. I don't have any match-up experience with Kagura. It's mostly just observations. The match up is the same. Treat it as Extend imo.
  21. Still, her zoning is better now. If you want to win now, you just gotta be perfect! I jest. But, people can't keep you under pressure forever. Nu has effective mobility and a superior neutral game. I really want to get better with her so I can have a better analysis on match-ups, but I'm so bad. I did, however, manage to do one of her mode change combos once.
  22. Anyone down for some games? Gonna make a 1v1 lobby if anyone is interested. I need a lot more experience with Nu!
  23. According to the wiki, none of that stuff you mentioned changed from Extend to CP. 22A does indeed destroy thumbs though.
  24. GGs to all who joined my room. My Nu is still pretty bad
