Oh, you should have said something. I lose all enthusiasm when your Tsubaki left. She's the final boss in my heart!
-
Are you referring to in the corner? Other options you can consider are 22A > 214D~C if they don't tech wheel oki or just stay in Luna and do 214D, it's pretty good as well. TK Feint is always good, but it's kind of risky against someone with a DP.

We should play again then. Invite me whenever. I still need to get better.

GGs. Sorry I destroyed your expectations of me. I'm pretty bad at this game. GGs to everyone else. I think my record today was something like 10 wins and a hundred losses.

It's quite interesting because I can't find many Nu vs Nu videos at high-level play. There is a Goro vs Protos one but that's from a year ago and things might have changed. Anyways, in the match, they didn't use Luna at neutral, but back then most Nu's stuck to Dia mode because they didn't know her combos very well yet. The most recent I found the Nu players stuck to Luna at neutral, but they weren't high-level or anything, so it's hard to say. I'm thinking it'll either be a preference thing or something you'll need a good amount of match-up experience to understand.

[P4AU] Mitsuru/Shadow Mitsuru info - Loketest Discussion
AchedSphinx replied to LegendaryRath's topic in Archive
I suspect people might switch to S.Mitsuru based on her auto-combo alone. The current Mitsuru's auto-combo brings her closer to the opponent, whereas S.Mitsuru she has the old auto-combo which pushes her back, making it difficult to actually punish her. Honestly, I might go with Shadow Mitsuru for that alone. But, I still need to see how Mitsuru's new looks, and how safe the cancels are. Aside from that, I still will mess around with S.Mitsuru for fun. If she doesn't have an SMP, it would be fun to do endless droits haha. -
I'll get you those games. Just add me, since I never see you in the online lobby. I happened to see him roaming the lobby and e-stalked him to an arcade. For some reason, I think Dia is better than Luna in that match up. So I wanted to try and see. Because when you think about it, Luna can't cancel drives well or jump cancel. So, if I block the 5D > 236B, it's money time. I think if it's Luna vs Dia, the Dia can be patient and wait for stuff like that, because the Luna basically wants to go into Dia anyways. But, I have not seen any high-level Nu mirrors, so I was just trying random things. Also, that air throw stuff is pretty annoying, then the j.D follow ups on throw tech. Though, I'm still dropping lots of combos and whatnot. More practice is needed!

GGs. I don't mash a lot. Plus I'm bad. Plus I don't know what to do. GGs to everyone else I played. I need more practice!

Kokonoe unescapable corner unblockable for a part of the cast
AchedSphinx replied to (SWE)KGB's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
Yeah. The only thing that can save you is burst or hope the Kokonoe doesn't know a good combo off it. -
GGs swd. They're not as hard as Mitsuru mirrors. Trust me on that one.

Here's how I see a lot of the matches go at high level play. http://youtu.be/N5g9x8i8M-s?t=1s

You guys have some cool fight sticks. Mine is just the SF4 one.

Gravity is pretty effective. It keeps Hakumen from moving which is a good thing. Plus Nu's 5D is jump-cancelable, so those shenanigans exist, along with Act Parser, overheads, etc. You can basically play lame the entire round and win. But Hakumen will probably save his burst for those one-kill combos.

The fix for 3C coming out if you want 623C is to input 623 fast. If you wait to long, the game doesn't save the buffer for 623. You don't have to be incredibly fast though, you just can't wait that long.

I actually have a playlist for Protos videos. Most are pretty recent. He does do Luna in neutral sometimes. It seems like it would be pretty effective in certain match-ups. Plus, people aren't exactly used to Luna doing 5D > 236A for some reason. I see it work plenty of times in Protos' videos. Plus, Luna has some sick mobility thanks to 236A and can get to the other end of the screen really quick to pick up hits into 236D. Also, some of the hit confirms are a bit easier to do in Luna and the mode does more damage. So I can see Luna in neutral working really well. I think the guide should have beginner combos, optimal combos, recommended combos, oki, set-ups, pressure, and gameplan.

More stuff from Omex's translations! [5B] > Dash cancel is advantageous for Mitsuru. 236236AB kick does 4800 at full charge Raw B Setsuna > C > D > Charged kick did ~3900 Mitsuru 5A backstep cancel might be in (rumor) High air hit b droit > 2A pickup might be possible (rumor) Before last hit 5AAA can be canceled into B and C moves. (iirc, it’s a millionstab esque normal that looks like setsuna) Last hit can only go into C moves. 2B’s head invuln may start up slower now SB Mahabufudyne has long invuln, short recovery 236236AB may have 236236A startup with B setsuna damage. B Droit > D Bufu did not combo Tentarafoo seems ot have very little recovery SB Tentarafoo seems to be an ‘STG” character counter tool. (shooting game? zoners? ww) Seems to be good for beating Aigis 2B and Yukiko fans j.D’s pullin speed and range has been increased, can combo after with 5a depending on spacing Most FC combos from current ver still work -
GGs Moy. You're the first Jin I faced so I was trying to study the pressure/gimmicks. Your full screen 6A kind of threw me for a loop. Thanks for the match-up experience. GGs to everyone else. Sorry I didn't play you swd, I wanted some Jin exp, next time we shall play!

Yes I use Mitsuru but I don't think we've played. I haven't played p4u in awhile, but I'll see if I can get some games in with you sometime.
-
He can't reach Nu quick enough to do that. Most times I do 214C when I knock him into the corner. At best he can get over 214D~C and above Nu, but she still can 6A or 2D his j.D. For his pressure you can get out of it, just don't mash 2A, his 6B is makes it whiff and he gets a FC. There are plenty of ways to escape his pressure, you just need to recognize them.
-
If you guys want to relive CT Nu. Get Unlimited Nu, her 2C comes out insanely fast.
-
Well, when someone loses, you can take the losers spot. Much like a real arcade if you happen to lose.
-
I don't see you around that often. I probably won't be doing netplay for awhile though. I need more training.
-
Thanks. It was fun playing you as well!

Maybe this time we will see some higher quality videos of Mitsuru/Shadow Mitsuru. It was hard to view the last ones. -
He won't use the 100 heat all that often. They tend to do the 50 heat super that's projectile immune. It can be tricky, but you can punish him with 6B and get good damage and oki. 6A is also a good AA to use. It beats out his j.D if you time it right. 2D and 6D work if he's not close to you, otherwise Terumi wins thanks to his j.D being really good. Yeah, it's also pretty tough to keep Terumi out the entire match. He's way too fast and j.D is way too good. His command throw isn't something I think Terumi will use a lot since it has a lot of recovery on whiff. The annoying part of the match is when he has 50 meter though. I can't tell you how many times that super has won him the game.
