  1. Hmm, I'm curious, couldn't Kokonoe just set another graviton and fling the fireball toward you while you recover from your IAD?
  2. Yes that is good at least. But it'll still hurt if the Mitsuru does sweep > SB droit, you'll take some pretty hefty damage from that. Who knows, she might even be able to do sweep > SB droit > sweep like she does in vanilla if she's not quite close enough to the corner. And I saw SB Mabufudyne and that thing is insane. I can see its uses, but is there any confirmation on rather it's Air unblockable or not? It might retain the old properties from vanilla. I don't think tentarafoo is bad from full screen. There aren't an incredible amount of ways to punish Mitsuru from that range if she happens to whiff it. I need to see more of it to be certain though.
  3. Oh no, my dreams have been destroyed. I guess RPS will still live on.
  4. And now the question that will plague the mind of every Mitsuru player ever. Can she hit another Mitsuru during sweep with 5A? It might end the RPS-feel of mirror.
  5. So I was checking out Shardz pastebin and noticed that she can cross through when she does bufula and droit. So does that mean she can do pseudo-unblockables with tentarafoo? Or will there just not be enough time?
  6. I did notice a Mitsuru do SB bufula in the corner. So she still has oki, but yeah, costs meter. The follow up would also cost meter to get the most out of her corner damage.

  8. another stream: live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv160804201 has a sho player
  9. Well, I saw Kanji 2A FC Naoto, so I guess so.

  11. Cool, they have a picture of her auto-combo kinda. Looks neat. I do enjoy her pose from the new move. Very classy. Now all I want is the chibi version of Mitsuru somehow this game. Persona Q just made me go "AWW" every time I saw her.
  12. Well, its sometimes active, like you know around 5 pm est. It's hard for me to find rooms though since most of the rooms either have people with 0 bars in them, or they're not very good. Though sometimes you do find people with good connections.
  13. Thanks for the info Toan, I will need to test this out. Either way, it sounds like it will be kind of iffy punishing her for doing superball. Plus, if 5DD > 44 doesn't kill, she still gets away for free in that scenario. But the other option would be her bursting and getting free oki with the superball if she starts doing B version.
  14. If what you say is correct, then does that mean Nu can do 6A out of block stun to defeat Valk's follow up pressure? Her 6A is 5F H invul and there is a 5F gap between block stun and this j.A.
  15. Yeah, toan is a really good Nu/Lambda player. I remember playing a long set with him in Extend before I quit and went to Persona. We split the games about 50/50. Though, I'm pretty sure he hates Nu/Lambda mirrors as much as I do. Suffice it to say, I still have a long way to go to match his skill level.
  16. Well, she's not faster than Nu's dash. And there are only a handful of characters who have a max dash speed faster than Nu. I tested this by setting a dummy to dash for about ten seconds and then dashed against that dummy. Not sure if this is an accurate way to test max dash speed (I assume it is because Nu and Mu have the exact same max dash speed). But Nu edged Kokonoe out slightly.
  17. Hmm, well, the major problem with this match-up is that Kokonoe owns Nu in neutral. Which makes it pretty difficult to zone Kokonoe, actually I don't think it's even possible to zone her. Try and see. She will just do graviton, activate, and you'll lose your advantage. So you can't do 214D~C when she's in gravity. You can try to bait the graviton, activate set-up, since the cooldown is like 100F or something, but you won't be getting a 214D~C to keep her at bay. And considering how fast Koko's dash speed is (she's slightly slower than Nu's dash speed) she can easily get in if you don't zone her properly. So, I don't have any tips for how to deal with Kokonoe in the corner doing superball. I don't know if tossing a drive after the super goes off stops Kokonoe from smashing your face. If it doesn't, the best thing I can think of for avoiding losing the moment she does superball is to do Legacy Edge to keep her in blockstun/punish her. Might work. I'll need to test this. But yeah, superball is literally a game-changing move. Kokonoe can whiff it entirely, yet you can't punish her properly at all because then she will set a graviton and you will eat a ton of blockstun, and the fireball hides what she's about to do. Suffice it to say, superball will cause many salty nightmares. Let's not forget the infamous black hole. It's not that big of a deal. Okay maybe it is. Since Nu is one of the many characters screwed if Kokonoe ever goes for this set-up, if you don't have a burst you're dead. I've played against a few Kokonoes who know the black hole > 22B > 3C set-up, which nets around 5k in less than the time it took me to blink. So how do you avoid this game-changing ability? Well, the best defense is to never get in the corner versus Kokonoe. Therein lies the challenge. Kokonoe reminds me a bit of Chie from Persona 4 Arena. If she hits you once you're stuck in an endless loop of oki until you successfully block her mix-up. For Kokonoe, because of how much meter she gains from her combos, if you get hit once while in the corner, you're not getting out (unless you're one of the select few who can avoid black hole super). Despite all this, Nu can give Kokonoe a rough time to get in. Namely because Nu is one of the few characters that can actually challenge graviton into fireball set-ups. If Nu hits or causes Kokonoe to block, then the fireball is gone. A lot of the times I was able to get a free combo because of this. You have to be extra mindful though. Because if you mess up, she will teleport on you, and make you eat some damaging combo that carries pretty far into the corner. All in all, this match-up is pretty rough. Though admittedly I find it more entertaining than most of Nu's match-ups. Science vs yandere. The ultimate battle between twisted fashion sense and interdimensional swords. Who will come out on top? Thong or crouch plate?
  18. Easy combos: corner [Dia] throw > 5C > 236D > 22A > 6A > 6C > 236D > 5C > 2C > 623C corner [Luna] throw > 5C > 6C > 236D > 236C > 5C > 2C > 623C midscreen [Dia] 4B > 2DD > air ender midscreen [Luna] 4B > 2DD > CT > 236D > 5DD > 6DD > 2DD > air ender midscreen [Dia] 2B > 2C > 5C > 3C > 22A > 3C > 236D midscreen [Luna] 2B > 2C > 5C > 3C > 236D @Hexanoid, add this to your guide as well. What to do when they don't tech oki, i.e 236D. What to do when they don't tech at all. And maybe add a few methods to get the 623C combo extenders to work.
  19. You're going to need 6A. Makoto is the 2nd fastest character in the game. She'll be able to double jump over 214D~C and do that punch thing or whatever to hit you. 6A beats that. Use gravity as much as possible. It keeps her zoned out pretty well. You're going to need 5D and 6D against her. You just need to get better and reading what she's going to do. Makoto is fairly easy to zone, since she lacks effective projectiles, the only problem is her speed so watch her when she decides to jump over 214D~C. If you're having problems with her corner pressure, study up on her frame data, and practice reading her overheads. Her overheads aren't that fast and I can read them most times. Once you get some match-up experience, things will go better.
  20. GGs everyone. I didn't play as much as I wanted to. But I had the fun!
  21. GGs to all I played in NYGamer stream. I plan to play this game a bit more often to stay fresh. Will be on tomorrow
  22. The game drops 22A inputs for me because I do 223A sometimes, which resets the input. I gotta be more mindful of that.
  23. Ah, for some reason I forgot you could do that. Thanks for the tip!
  24. Sometimes drives completely whiff on smaller hitbox characters after an air throw. When that happens, I want to cry. It's mostly bad timing though because it should always work.
  25. The Reaper has two guns. Sho has two swords. I smell a connection here.
