  1. I will play.
  2. Did you just quote yourself?
  3. We need those sandbags to prevent the flood of tears from overwhelming the community. That's how Dustloop the Movie begins.
  4. Hmm, do you guys think we'll be getting any more DLC characters with Extend? It's been out for over 6 months now, so I was curious. Or do you think they'll put up the DLC all at once instead of one over time.
  5. The irony of Tager Astral is that Lambda's Astral counters it. Did it once. Yes!
  6. Yeah, I've seen it via a combo a few times. I also saw a Litchi do it on a Tager that did that slow reaching for the stars FC anti-air. Rachel is a funny one to use for astral if the opponent does not know that Rachel is completely invul during it and they try to attack her. It makes for some funny games. I have never seen Carl's done. I'm placing it on the impossible list. If a Carl does manage it, the person probably took a nap at the controller. Hakumen's Astral I've actually done it when I played with him the first time. It was against a Tao. The irony that was had that day.
  7. Curious, will you also be uploading American/EU matches to this page once P4U goes live? Or just pro stuff.
  8. Oh I see. I've always wondered what that "once" meant. That's good info. Now I know. Making legit impractical combos with Lambda is tough with so many restrictions in place. Though I have an idea for a mega combo. We shall see how that pans out.
  9. Sounds fun Goldchampion200. I will see if I can play you.
  10. Arakune is completely immune during it for like 300 or more frames. In a match a long time ago, I did Lambda's astral on an Arakune the moment he did his Astral. There were two Astrals done that day, and neither hit, how embarrassing. I subsequently did A drive and won. I really think Arakune's hate that Lambda has a drive.
  11. He does have a good amount of casual matches on his youtube, so if interested, you should check those out. Well the Legacy thing was an idea based off 5C making combos do more damage with fewer hits. I suppose Legacy doesn't function the same way sadly. At the end of the day, I think FC 214A is the only legit starter.
  12. Ah I see. Well CH 5D > Legacy seems good. If a person does an air burst on Lambda's drive combo, I think you'll drop down quick enough to do Legacy there as well. If not, there's still CH 5D > Legacy.
  13. Another thing would be playing whatever character your friend uses. Back in CS2 I decided to sub Noel, as a result my Noel match-ups got much better. If you get to know the characters in that manner, your overall game will improve. Playing the character is a good way to understand it.
  14. Yeah, the first 7 frames she's invulnerable. So you can use on wake-up, it's just that the range is bad. I could be wrong on this though, the wording for 222D is weird.
  15. If she starts it and you're not already moving, it's pretty much over. I actually caught a Litchi out of the air with it once. It can also be used as a reversal. It's cool like that :D
  16. It's actually quite easy to do. Sickle Storm oki > empty jump > j.C > land > 222D. Highest success rate imo.
  17. Yes, I'm on ship 6. It's been fun so far! Yeah, off something like a sickle storm oki, or a poorly timed 214A > 222D, it will purple throw. Or are you asking if it's possible for someone not to tech a purple throw 222D, and I've had it happen against me once. T'was funny.
  18. The best ones are 720 purple throws. I just drop the controller and stare at the screen: "OMG I'm getting 720'd," looks down at the controller, "maybe if I press these two buttons I can escape." Round over. An even better purple throw is Lambda's 222D.
  19. Yeah well, I think I was defeating myself most of the time. Though I did learn that sickle storm is easy to avoid somewhere down the line. I need to pay attention more. I suppose since I want to rush and Toan wants to run away, it's a different thing to consider. I don't play enough Lambdas.
  20. 5A is a cruel mistress. Well, in my defense, I suck. But that aside, I dropped too many combos, and I do, at times, want to toss my controller out the window whenever I can't get Lambda to dash for me. I loved that random Calamity I did when I wanted to Legacy, wanted to cry there. I would be better at rushing if I can get that sickle oki to work for me. Posting tips about it and actually doing it are two different things. Also, I was the only one getting massacred because I couldn't figure out what to do. GGs doods. I'll try to stay less free next time.
  21. Another interesting one would be 2B poke, 236A, Legacy Edge. I'm not sure if you'll recover in time for Lambda to turn around and do Legacy Edge. Worth a shot.
  22. I love hearing the Jin announcer say COUNTA COUNTA COUNTA. I laugh every time. Makes it tough to actually play games at times though!
  23. Haven't seen him in awhile. Him and XDest were the only ones I knew. For Carls only one I know is dread and nine. I haven't played the either match-up in awhile.
  24. True, there's also the wonder of 214D~C. It's pretty good if the Bang decides to do that drive thing and you like punish him for it. Learning is happening here. Bang doesn't have a DP without meter right? Seems like you can keep a good amount of pressure on him. That aside, match-up is a pain but playing against really good Bangs does help out. I'll probably never learn Tao match-up, but someday I will. Kind of wish I had PSN Extend so I could play Zeth. Sounds like fun.
  25. True true. Sev said one thing in the Lambda v Bang match up that was pretty nice. At the start of the round do IAD forward to avoid the nails. Pretty rad. Doesn't work all the time, but it's really cool man, learning things and stuff. So yeah, Bang match-up ain't that bad. All ya gotta do is play smart. Like, you see that button that's hotkeyed to your drive? Don't use it a lot. Bang has two dashes, you miss, he's in. It's all bout dat spacing, which Lambda is so proud of.
