  1. Speaking of meter gain: Since Jin's damage is mostly based off spending meter again, how is his meter cooldown looking? Pretty sure past games nerf your meter gain after spending some, although not to the extent of P4A IIRC. I'm wondering how this works in BBCP.

  3. To the old data pages! Turns out it was a gatling in CS1. http://dustloop.com/guides/bbcs/frameData/jin.html I also looked at Calamity Trigger data, but I can't really read how the revolver actions were written. It sounds like you could cancel into it though, but it won't combo.
  4. It wasn't in CSII at least. That was when I started picking up the game and I remember using 6C in blockstrings being super risky then too because of that.
  5. 6C > 2D > [j.2C > j.C] or [66 6B] > ABC > Ice car was one of my favorite midscreen BnBs, so I don't mind. Although, to be fair sekkajin made it so we didn't have to have a crouching confirm. Also 6C > 22C > D seems like a good corner carry combo. Too bad it also side swaps. :/

  7. Yeah, this is all conjecture for now. I can't wait for the PS3 release.
  8. This makes it sound like you can use Hizangeki's first hitbox to refreeze the opponent if they are in front of and slightly above you, allowing you to extend the combo further via the long freeze time because at that spacing, it looks like the second hit will whiff.
  9. That's interesting. So as a starter, it won't waste your freeze as long as the second hit is actually the starter? Does proration keep it from being used mid-combo?

  12. That reminds me: Has anyone seen that "first hitbox" of hizangeki actually hit something? I assumed it was just part of the animation, but wasn't an actual hitbox.
  13. I go for 66 5B if they respect me. One mash out of that though, and I'm far more careful.
  14. Yeah, people mash after 6B all the time for me. I know it has frame advantage and I imagine they do as well, but if I try to microdash 2A or 2B, they mash me out of it and I get counterhit. As a result, I usually do 6B > 2A > microdash 2A or 6B > 2Ax2 > microdash 2A to condition them to stop being mashy fuckers. I also get DP'd after 6B all the fucking time. I literally bait an Inferno Divider the first time I use 6B in a match against any Ragna I face, because they all try to DP there.
  15. Is it + enough to really get a 2B out? You might trade and even if they get hit by it after you land, assuming you didn't dash for fear of them disrespecting you, your only option would probably be 2B > 3C > 214D > stuff. Without the 25 heat, you probably won't get much with a 2B there unless you dash after 6B.
  16. I had to try so hard to keep myself from asking "how do i shot ice?" in the Q&A thread. XD I'm not sure if you noticed it (based on the OP post, it seems you might have), Moy, but has anyone else noticed that Hizangeki after 6B (since you're still technically airborn) makes for a nice mixup option? I imagine you could probably rapid and 2B for some mindgames instead.
  17. That Touga followup is so fuckin' stylish. See: After posting that, I did some research and 追撃可 is the term Japan uses when speaking about move followups. The で prefix means you can do it using the preceding input.

  19. I might've been more focused on how long after he was able to pick up that 5B... sorry about that. As far as Rehyou, he's beating Inferno Divider with it. He does so twice in that match... I don't think that was possible in extend. i wonder if there was a change on inferno divider's hitbox...

  21. I saw some Jin play last night. Man I'm so fucking hype for this game right now. Hey, what do you guys make of this? O_o Looking back, I guess this was possible in Extend, but it looks easier now.
  22. I can play with EC with a 2 bar, provided the opponent's connection is good (preferably fiber, but sometimes cable works), so I take that as an indication that it's truly connections that matter at this point... Not distance.
  23. As a side note, I could probably stream this, if you guys would like. Especially if I'm joining, since it would mean I'm already available at the designated time.

  25. Looks like で追撃可 means "C available in pursuit", which sounds like a followup to me.
