  1. I believe the correct term is "California Burst."
  2. A King-of-the-Hill-esque competition sounds very fun. I'm somewhat interested in participating, though I wish this was a wee bit more restrictive. I can never have too much Persona though .
  3. PRE ARC REVOLUTION same character team tournament: Team Yukiko vs. Team Elizabeth Game 1 Game 2 Game 3 Game 4
  4. GGs to PSN I guess? I can't play this game anymore.
  5. Hopefully this means no region lock. Think of our EU brethren!
  6. I've started compiling some of the Elizabeth combos into a formatted document. It's a work in progress (as evident by missing/unclear values & shoddy organization), but at least the information is readily available I guess. Additionally, the discussion is open in regards as to how we're to notate combos. I'll try to clean this up before the day is over, but yeah. It's worth mentioning that all of the mind charge combos assume that you're not in awakening. They also only account for total SP consumed after you've used mind charge. Edit: corrected all the instances where 214D should have been written instead of 214C. Just need to find damage/meter values now . https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WvCrScNd_E2JF3kqdzZZZEaqq9o18QjvVV49vkiwnQk/edit?usp=docslist_api Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  7. In the first P4U, 214B > AOA OMC > Wail was lovely because it did a lot of damage, and it was only 100 meter. This was because after doing 2C, the next physical persona attack got an extra 50% damage. In P4U2, bufu now eats this 50% damage buff, so Wail does less damage. It's possible to circumvent this loss in damage by doing a combo with 214AB > 2C (whiff) > AOA OMC > Wail. It costs 25 more meter though (214B nerf makes it so that you can't combo into it anymore afaik).
  8. I am inclined to agree with Strife. Even if the combos are not the most optimal or whatever, you still get a good idea of what Elizabeth is capable of in this version. The grounded 5A route is similar to the one in P4U for example, and the damage you get in both games is close (oki is a different story though, so take that as you will). In regards to starters, I see little issue with what Damosu used (if I was nitpicking, it would be towards the fact that a majority of them had started with 1HSM 5C). J236D, for example, wasn't impractical in P4U (not a good idea to use in neutral, but not bad), and 5C FC happened, too. Overall, I'm satisfied with what I saw. Liz's combos look fun and they hit for decent damage. You can even run oki on some of them. I'm glad someone finally used hop cancel for combos. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

  11. If you want to get better at blocking, it helps to understand how the gatlings of other characters work (or what moves are special cancelable). Sometimes, you have to guess and reacting isn't possible. You didn't specify a game, but this situation occurs in GG for example (Millia oki + mix up comes to mind). If you think you're jumping out due to an execution error, set a training dummy to do overheads, and practice blocking them. Perhaps you've just been trying to chicken block (which isn't inherently bad)? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  12. Not an airdasher, but yep.
  13. When's stagger pressure with reactionary Randomizer?
  14. Pre ARC Revo was like 3 days ago. It was streamed on UStream (I think there're archives, but I wouldn't know how to find them), and top 8 of singles & finals of teams are up on YouTube and Nicovideo. It's pretty easy to find if you look for it. The Elizabeth team didn't make it far in the team tournament, so you wouldn't see footage of them unless you somehow found the archives. Regardless, if we're waiting for high level Liz play, we might as well hold out until the actual ARC Revo I guess (whenever that is). No need to apologize btw.
  15. GGs to everyone I played yesterday/tonight.
  16. Just curious since it's not in the OP: What's the go-to combo after 5D? I've seen some combos with tk HS mad struggle (I think?) at least.

  21. I wonder if any of those Elizabeth players are the one from the A-Cho videos. Here's hoping because he is really solid. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks for the reply. If Randomizer > 5A or something doesn't work in the corner, I'm thinking that Randomizer > 236]B[ or 2]C[ would work. The console version needs yo come out so I can stop theory fighting . Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  23. Looked at the wiki to make, but I couldn't find it: does 2[C]/236 have a maximum charge time? Or can you hold either of them indefinitely?
  24. Did you knock the opponent down prior to 5D? In order to combo into 22C, you have to do certain moves to "enable" it, like 3C, 6B air hit, etc. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  25. GGs to anyone that I played today. I ran out of XBL Gold, so I will see you all again in P4U2!
