ah i see, that's the only russian GG youtube channel i know of. if there's another one, could you post the link?
-
as johnny, or eddie? anyways, check out this channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/OverKilL013 look for raven.

that's... a boring opinion, to say the least
-
i've never had to sign up, so that's odd to hear

pretty cool, and nice music, but i was a bit annoyed with the montage effect (4 combos happening at once), and also with the combos that were fast-forwarded. montage effect is annoying for me because i'd like to see what combos you're doing, but i have to go back and forth in the video to see everything. fast-forward combos are usually a bad idea unless it's a super long combo (like anti-Potemkin infinites, or any Zappa + dog infinite). especially in this case, you often fast-forwarded a combo until the training dummy died... but so what? it felt kinda pointless, basically. so in my opinion, if you took out the fast-forwarded combos, and changed the video montage scene to four normally-displayed combos (one after the another), i think it would look much nicer. but anyways, good job on your first CM, hope to see more.

the song's a bit too late for my taste, but it has a good beat. i thought the gold burst tech trap against Faust was pretty funny/interesting. i don't know what you feel is "boring", but despite not being a stellar/revolutionary I-No CM, i still think it's fun to watch and the music is nice/easy-going enough to be enjoyable. maybe just keep it on the backburner for now, or if someone needs some I-No combos for a group collaboration CM you could help out. the combos aren't bad, imo (for what it's worth).

we've actually had several threads like this in the Zepp Museum, and none of them ever lasted. if you can make this last, though, good on you. speaking of which, i'm more partial for having this in the Zepp Museum, as the Guilty Pleasures board seems better suited for discussing audio/video media. but let's talk about this, maybe it'll last longer in guilty pleasures. anyways, this reminds me that a while ago, there were a couple of GG fans that were putting together some guitar tabs, so there should be some tabs out there already, somewhere in the internet. i know i used to have mine uploaded somewhere, but i think the website got shut down when the US passed some law that essentially banned (guitar) tabs from being made and distributed online. do you know a good place to upload tabs? i've still my 7, but they're old and idk if they're any good or not.

this is not gameplay discussion. take it to the guilty room if it piques your interest so much.
-
what file format are the vids?
-
this isn't the "why i like GG over SF4" thread, so please keep it on-topic.

selfishstyle: i see, well i'm not sure how to download without the manager, maybe someone else can help out. stinkymonz: it's true that filebank isn't used a lot, but pretty much everything from Roz's blog (ATHENA Nihonbashi ranbats and some ABC ranbats) goes up on his Filebank account, so it might be worth it to re-install the Filebank manager if you're interested in getting those matches. but you know, some people just re-upload those matches to Youtube, so if that's good enough for you, the option's there.
-
i was just wondering, is it that Filebank doesn't work on your browsers? or are you guys having problem with installing the download manager or something?
-
you'd have to buy it from a Japanese book store, or maybe from SoftBank Creative's online store?

the frame data is based on the GG mook, which is old and had lots of mistakes/missing info. (according to the complete guide) Sakura is not only strike invincible from frames 1-19, but also above-the-knees invincible from frames 39-50. (Sakura is 51 frames in total, just to give some context.)

ah yeah... do you wanna include EX characters, Zerite? my plain vanilla American AC copy of the manual doesn't have EX movelists, and i doubt the AC+ version does, either, so it seems reasonable to ask (in case people wanna fool around with EX characters). also can someone verify the tension requirement for Dizzy's IK? if it's 50% like i posted, plz update the first post; if it's 100% like Zerite posted, then i'll note that in my complete guide
-
aren't JackG and pulsr talking about trends of how Hakumen wins/loses, whereas you're just talking about specific cases?
-
OP: here's a little something I found for the first post. When you do Shadow Gallery from Break the Law, either of 41236+S or 63214+S will work.
-
So what is the correct source of frame data these days, the AC Complete Guide? i have a copy of it, and was comparing some of the frame data on the website, and wanted to post corrections as I find them, but I wanted to be sure that the Complete Guide isn't superseded by another official source.

i'm not sure if you're: a) changing your mind and agreeing with Mac; or b) disputing Mac's rebuttal but one-word posts in a serious discussion thread are BANAL. don't do it, at all, especially when your post is of type (b). if you have an ACTUAL opinion consisting of coherent arguments to support your hypothesis/claim, then i suggest you provide it forthwith.

no it's ok, you can spam your own regional thread.

where are you in Tokyo? Elven lives in Gunma, which is a bit of a trip north of Tokyo, so that's why he only comes down on weekends. i don't live in the 23 wards, but i can potentially make the trip to Shinjuku to show you around during the week sometime. we can talk about it by PM if you're interested.

why don't we just add these moves to the frame data sheets? i have the complete guide, so if people would like, i can translate the frame data for these moves. and actually, from the complete guide, it says: Jam's super (闘砕珀裂拳, "Tousai Hakuretsu Ken" perhaps?): 64641236+P+K, 100% tension Chipp's wall jump (三角跳び, "Sankaku Tobi" = Triangle Jump): it just says "screen's edge, then neutral -> 46"; but if you actually can't do it after using all your jump options, then that's good to know. Dizzy's IK: the commands are right, but the guide says you only need 50% tension to do it. (Also the name is 力が...抑えきれない..., "Chikara ga... osaekirenai..." = "This (My?) power's... too much to stop/control..." or something like that.) btw Sol's super DI is called "Dragon Install Second" according to the guide... and it's "lightning", not "lightening" ;D lol and yeah, Gold EX Ky has a "no-name" super that looks like Greed Sever, 214214K like you said, BMS.

who knows, this Yado fellow could be someone else we've already seen/heard of, but he just entered the tournament with a different name. people do it fairly often. Omito's been playing Eddie (off and on?) at tournaments since AC came out, I think. i think he tends to do it in singles tournaments, where he's at too much of an disadvantage to use a low tier like Johnny. on the other hand, i'm pretty sure i've seen his Johnny at A-cho's team events.

take it to the norcal thread plz.
