Well, I mean, I've won a good amount of games with just 5B, 623C, and throw as Ragna. It doesn't really prove much.
-
I end combos in SMP 22C sometimes as a gimmick. :v It usually works if it's a longer set and you train them with 22B.
-
Tengu was shit, though. Like almost unplayable garbage. She's so much better than him. Outside of the near broken version in 2.
-
She has P+K which is decently fast and stuns on NH. It will beat Ayane's mid options 'cause she has a slow 13f mid. 8K is a good high crush that also launches, so it's good to disrespect with it. She also does really good damage from pretty much every stun level. She has a reset throw and a good launch throw. I'm liking how she plays so far, but I don't think she's that good, honestly.
-
Oh, you're right. I was doing half of a combo since it was faster to testt. It had enough hitstun proration for j.C j.A j.B to drop at j.B so I assumed it worked as a substitute for real combos. I'll test more.
-
It seems to work for me. I don't mean delay the j.C, I mean delay the actual jump. As in wait until they're dragged closer to you before jumping. Gotta change the timing of the j.B to make it ambiguous with the low, though.
-
You can just 214C, then wait a bit before jumping.

Airthrow. Dash under is also a reasonable choice depending on the situation.

It's not an easy matchup. :v If you read that she's gonna low air kuuga, 421 through. Save a low in blockstrings to blow up her attempts at buffering dps (she's not holding 1 if she's doing 623). If she tries to do ground kuuga into command dash/roll, mash 5A unless it was max range. Punish bad kuugas in general with 236C. If she dashes at you mid range, 3A+C+D and force her to bait it. Respect ExKuuga. Force them to bait you after they do 5C. Most mid level Linnes will do 5C[C], 5C delay 2C, or 5C kuuga. 421C through for 4k until they start baiting you. Her mixups aren't especially strong, so you can feel free to block for a good while, though.

Problem with 623 inputs starting from a crouching position.

Think of it as walking forward, then 23. A different mindset makes all the difference. -
Get used to using different attacks to cover different angles. If you don't have a good attack for the angle they're coming from, adjust your spacing. Run under them, even. Most of anti airing is reacting and adjusting.

I don't actually play this game, so when I do play, I end up dropping combos 'cause I forget to superjump. Feels stupid afterwards, 'cause you always super jump.
-
There's no such thing. You just do stuff until it works. Change up timing on your cancels and sneak in throws. There's no one blockstring that's gonna work all the time.
-
Shielding 6B and mashing before 22A only doesn't work in the corner 'cause 5A will whiffs. Shielding 6B in the corner pushes Gordeau out too far. EDIT: Forgot to mention that you shouldn't mash there 'cause 6B 236A is airtight when blocked and tiny gap if shielded. If you try to shield 5A, you get taken for a 3.3k ride.

Best plan of action is to probably just go in against Byakuya. Outside of his 2B, he can't really keep you out. No real reversals, either. His neutral is not that good, but letting him set up webs means that you'll always be at a huge GRD disadvantage. If he tries to do web pull in his blockstrings, 236A his face and confirm it with meter. Hilda is free to 214C. It beats so many of her options at every point in the game. Once you've shown her that you're not afraid to use it, you can then start using greedy ways of getting in. EDIT: If you have CS, you can actually tkj.214A over Byakuya 2B and confirm it for 3k. It's hilarious. I did it by accident one time trying to 214A. :v
-
Are you super jumping? You should be super jumping after 6A.
-
The 2C 5C route listed there is raw 2C delay 5C 214B~A, though. :v

The entire character is gimmicks and bullshit. The entire game is gimmicks and bullshit. Who cares? That said, I haven't played the game in 5 years and I don't even have the game anymore so I might be remembering some of those combos wrong.
-
I played Noel in CT. I'll tell you right now, that character is retarded. Confirm into 3C 22C 6C 22C 66C 22C 66C 22C 66C j.C j.236C That's your "Fuck you, I'm Noel" combo. Doesn't work on Carl 'cause Noel likes shotas. 2C 3C combos on crouching opponents so just use a bunch of normals and then confirm it. Also works from airthrow 2B 6C instead of 3C. Also works from 214A 2B 6C (so it works from throw 214A). That's where it gets really character specific, though. Anything outside of 3C starter is "I hope this works." Generally gonna go into 6C loops 'cause you're scared you'll drop the Haida loop and get laughed at. Noel loves loops. 6C B+C(whiff) 6C B+C(whiff) 6C B+C(whiff) 6C 5D d.6B d.5C d.6B d.5C d.236D against someone in the air. The main point is to do enough 6C loops so that they're low enough that drive stuff will hit them. If you can't do that, just cancel into j.BC(1)B dj.BC dj.236C after a 6C. Now, how do you get them in the air? Everything gets them in the air. :v 6A 6B 3C 22C Airthrow 2B Throw 214A 2B 214A 2B etc Your main antiair is gonna be 6A, but Noel can anti air with pretty much anything 'cause half her moves are randomly invuln. Main pokes are 5C and j.C. Main shithead moves are 5D (some invuln and CH 5D leads CH 5D d.6C d.214A 2B 6C j.C j.236C), 4D (nothing beats 4D, and crouching or CH 4D leads to 3C which means it leads to everything and CH 4D also leads to d.6C d.214A which is jokes), 2D (nothing beats 2D, and 2D d.6A d.28D 6C 5D d.6B d.5C d.6B d.5C d.236D works), 6D (what is this shit, 6D d.5C d.6B d.28D 6C 5D d.6B d.5C d.6B d.5C d.236D). Character is so dumb.

Can you do a jumping normal before you land from web B with this FFC tech?
-
I sure hope we don't nerf Azreal and instead nerf Makoto.

This video does not exist.

It's pretty dumb, but they also said that even match vids (as in all ASW game vids) needed to be taken down, so I doubt they're happy with screenshots. It seems like an intern making a mistake, though. It's probably just the actual game code that's the issue.
