Sounds like someone needs to try Ragna. I also don't recall Makoto being the easiest in the game, that title belongs to many other characters. And I do not switch characters for the sake of winning tourneys or money. If I didn't earn that win with the character I like, then I just wasted my time. As long as my character stands at least a decent chance, I'm fine by it. I switch to have more fun. Not enhance my chance of winning. But I have totally different philosophies, so do as you wish. Back on topic everyone, this is a New Hope we're looking for, afterall. -

Kill em' with style. Opponents tend to forget Makoto even has a parry anyways. It's not overly useful by any means, but I am glad it is there. It is fun to use, and is one of the moves that kept me playing her. Fun to mess around with mainly, use it against certain Distortions for maximum coolness. Ever got caught in a huge Carl combo while parrying? You'll be in blockstun parry catch for like 10 whole seconds parrying nonstop, lol Looks so badass. <3 -

The parry doesn't work against normal blockables, like Tsubaki's Tempest, but BHS is weird. I am not too sure what would happen. BHS sounds like it artificially becomes unblockable with weakspots applied, so it'd be interesting to see. -

But would it block BHS? Initially the attack is blockable, but with Weakspots applied, I kind of question the parry working against it. -

That's been a staple to her playstyle. I'm curious to know what would happen in this scenario; Say I get two Weakspots from Azreal, will the parry still work against his attacks? -

No, she's looking quite the badass this time around, and it felt good watching her eat Hakumen's 10k combo like it was nothin' but a thing, and then totally fisting him at the end of that same round afterward. And she still has even more potential that we are (trying) to find out. No tears to be had here for me. Now THIS is worth making tears for! :gonk: -

From what I gathered, he now has a meterless DP-style move, that new command grab distortion, and his damage actually got higher instead of being lowered like everyone else's. Full-screen combos with a cancellable projectile, super-heat gain, and supreme mobility apparently weren't enough, lol edit: Vaguely asking errol, but did you win? -

I'd probably say take it to the matchup thread, just to be safe, unless you are actually talking about CP Hazama, who I hear is even more ridiculous than he already is. But back on topic, I want to know if Makoto's hitbox changed. Because Makoto's hitbox was pretty darn weird itself, lol -

Wow, Lander Blow is actually sounding quite useful. I saw the level 2 recovery coming though, level 2 D's of any sort are pretty unsafe. But the Level 1 surprised me. I decided to watch that whole combo video, and WHOA, Comet Cannon can actually be used from far away during an overdrive combo. That is beyond awesome! -

Yupp, it was the crush trigger. It looked like a special move to me. I did not know that was a Crush Trigger, lol... So, is it a good crush trigger, a bad one, or somewhere in between? Chestnut Parfait, it's her favorite. -

I like her being the worst because; 1. People can't bitch when you beat their brains out 2. Major style points if you win a tourney with her 3. Good challenge without the use of any real shenanigans (her drive is just another attack button) -

Yeah, he is just trolling. Makoto requires work, but she is definitely not defenseless or weak for that matter. She might be the bottom of the list, but that changes as soon as she closes in and starts applying pressure. Dora just wants easy victories it seems after dropping Bang and Makoto and flocking to S tier fighters. But in capable hands, Makoto is indeed dangerous, and she is still one of the scarier characters near a corner, especially now that she has some insane corner carry and damage in OD. YES. Also nice to know that Lightning Arrow works the way it should in OD, this makes me happy. -

Yupp, I'm not worried about it. Back on topic everyone... I think it is pretty safe to say the game is broke for good. :P I want someone to answer this for me- say I am fighting Hakumen and I go into OD. Can my OD attacks be delayed so I can trick him out of his zanshin? -

There would have to be a balance update to make it playable at competetive levels. There can be gaps between chars, but the gaps in CP are HUGE from what I see. :/ I've never seen so many S-Tier in one game, lol... It doesn't bother me none though, as long as Makoto is playable, I'm low tier warrior for life! -

Valkenhayn is for chumps though. His damage output is pretty much broken. 6k meterless is pretty stupid. And he is boring as hell to play, all his combos look the same. edit: lmao at the tier list. this is the most broken blaz ever. I thought the tier was a bit exaggerated, but it's looking true so far, too many S-Tier imbalances at the top who are "off the charts" good.
