Ok, blog has been updated with my trip to Nagoya and NSB. I also uploaded all the pictures from Nagoya last night so everything is finally complete! I suggest everyone reads the Nagoya blog. I pretty much spilled my guts about everything I know about whats happening with the future of GG so you might wanna give it a read.

OK all SBO /TGS pics have just been uploaded to my flickr. I will have the Nagoya blog and up by the end of the week and I took tons of pics in Nagoya too so hopefully I will have those up soon after. Enjoy. Comments are always welcome.

OK, I FINALLY updated my blog with SBO weekend. I stopped right before my birthday. Probably tomorrow or at least by the end of the week, I will post about my birthday, and Nagoya Street Battle. Its a lot to type so this should do for now. I also have pics which ill upload soon. Overkill, yea dude, it was nice meeting you, Robobobr, and Goga! I hope we can play GG and drink again sometime.

Someone asked a few pages back who took out Dogura's team. It was Mitsurugi. Spirit Juice is sorta right, they dont really play Marvel here, but there are a few people that are good, but yea... you pretty much never see tournaments.

Last chance qual is the morning of SBO finals at 7 am. This year, you can only enter if someone on your team has a red ticket (meaning they already won a preliminary qual). Since I did, I can enter. Only 8 teams will be able to enter this year through random lottery. Hopefully my team gets picked. Yea I was also shocked to see that Faust is the most played character in SBO this year. Hes far from top tier. I guess lots of Fausts just stepped it up or had good teams. Too bad im not among them.

wow this seems like a really big deal! Working online GGAC finally! I dont have a very powerful computer for gaming, so I dont know if it will work on mine, but if this catches on I will buy a brand new PC just for this! I strongly urge everyone to try to get this running and play some online GGAC. This seriously could be what you guys need to revive the US scene. Keep in mind that I have confirmed that at this time, Ark System Works is NOT working on an online version of GGAC, so this is a big deal!

Ive gotta disagree with ehuangsan. I think the very fact that the game has such high damage out put is the exact reason why you CAN make huge comebacks in that game. Ive done it and seen it plenty of times. Honestly I dont see how GG isnt a deep game. I also dont understand the AC hate. I LOVED Slash but AC is still a great game, and the forcebreaks and slashbacks add a lot to it. The fact that even the lowest of tier characters often place high in tournaments says a lot about the balance. Also, you make it sound like every time someone gets hit they are going to eat a giant combo which is not the case. There is plenty of damage from pokes and projectiles and whatnot that dont lead into big damage. Ive seen (high level) matches where almost zero huge combos even happened because of the way the match played out. Just sayin...

Honestly Matt, I havnt started planning for it yet, but if I do go home again this winter (which I do plan to) I would like to run it again. If you really want to go to Season's beatings, by all means go ahead. Maybe you will even be able to afford both by the time FF rolls around.

Pictures page has been completely updated! I uploaded ALL the pictures I took from my camera AND Ryoko's iPhone. I just finished putting the last ones up. I also organized EVERY photo on my flickr into a set so its easier to find stuff. Take a look if you feel like it. Ill be at Gods Garden 2.5 this weekend, ill make sure to blog about it later

Zinac, nah man theres no way I can take off in the middle of October plus I cant afford it which is why I didnt even go back to the US at all this summer. I promise ill drink with you guys whenever the next time I see you is, cuz basically im always drinking anyway lol. Ill make sure to knock back a few while the tournament is going on from here in Japan. Its the least I can do ^_-

thanks for the support everyone. ill do my best at last chance Ryan, I dont play BB much at all but lots of good people are usually playing at Mikado. They have 3 HD cabs. Since all the good Kanto GG players go there, many of them play both games so its a good bet for sure. There might be another hot spot. I can ask around for you if you want. What day do arrive in Japan?
