Mailman intercepted! Delivery GET! Our hero is victorious!!
-
A micro dash is just an extremely short dash, you can think of it like 665A instead of 66 > 5A. If you play Chie, you should be familiar with microdashes from her midscreen AoA combo, 5AB-C(FC) > j.D > j.B(w) > 66 5B. BlazBlue and Persona both have input buffers where you can input something within the last 3-5 frames of a move's recovery, and it will come out immediately after you recover. Just like in the Chie example, you should aim to dash right before recovering, and hit the button for your move immediately after.

Mine doesn't say that yet, but it gives me hope! @Panda: I ordered from Amiami

Package has been processed and is on its way to my post office...my mailmain's route is ~11am...will it get there in time?!?! A thrilling cliffhanger!

If you do it that way, it might make more logical sense, but it's harder to read. OD under 70% would become OD4 instead of OD7.

I had the same problem with AH3, had to train myself to hit the diagonals really cleanly. Eventually you won't even notice. I'm really upset about this though, it going to turn off a lot of new players from trying the game, especially if they start with Ragna.

Fourth option is for watching replays, isn't it? -
Fear of playing online basically comes from being afraid that people will think less of you/ridicule you for being bad. This is untrue, for two reasons: 1.) Most people are nice and helpful, and you shouldn't care about the ones who aren't. 2.) The FGC is generally a pretty casual community, where people of all skill levels regularly meet to play with each other. Occasionally, you might run into somebody who only wants to play against people of their own level, but that's okay. It doesn't make them a jerk. You'll eventually make friends who are new like you, or experienced and willing to help, and you can play with them.

Anyone ever used Entropay to buy on the Japanese PSN?
Celerity replied to AetherDemon's topic in Beginner Mode
Update on this: The site required some kind of weird webcam verification on the credit card. It didn't work. Now they want to verify by fax, I don't have a fax machine and I'm lazy. Buying a PSN card instead. -
More profanity in that video than in an entire episode of The Wire.

Yeah, that means it's headed overseas. It'll probably arrive in customs in Chicago either tonight or tomorrow, might get to us on Saturday if we're lucky.

Well you have to give your tag if you want people to add you, methinks. nm you ninja edited.

Are you on PSN?

I had the same issue with my pad when it was using Xbox drivers, but switching to PS3 drivers solved the problem. The pad works fine in game either way, but I can only configure it when it's running in PS3 mode.

There's a 5% load fee and a 2% exchange fee, so in theory it should be much cheaper than buying a PSN card, and you'll also save by not having extra PSN points floating around on your account. I haven't used it yet, but I plan on trying it when Kokonoe comes out. We'll see if it's reliable or not. -

Amiami just took my moneys, so that should be a good sign. -

Has it been confirmed that it can't be unlocked in-game like much of the other DLC? -
Does j.5D with vertical lotus slow your descent or make it faster? I've never seen anybody use it. Preorder can't come soon enough. :X

Probably better to just get the 10000 yen card for $119. Use those extra PSN points for erotic visual novels extra DLC or something. -
Counter Hit better say "DUNKED!".

Asia Version of BBCP does not have English subs
Celerity replied to Smokebreaker's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
The product description does say it includes English, Chinese, Korean subtitles, but again, I'll believe it when I see it. -

I don't know. I'm still skeptical. Note in the product description it says: "Please note the the content of the language (voice) & subtitles are subject to change!" -
The implication I guess is that it runs at 58fps instead of 60fps, so it's 3% slower overall. This wouldn't really matter as long as the fps loss is somewhat constant and there are no skipped frames. I'd like to see a video or some kind of evidence that it occurs on all models of the PS3, though I guess I could test it myself... If it's just the thermal paste going bad after a year or two, you can open up your PS3 and reapply it. I suppose this is what I plan to do if it ever happens to me. He's asking about different models of the PS3 causing lag, not PS3 vs 360.

I play on a super slim, and I've never had any problems except when playing Marvel. I've done frame testing in Injustice specifically and there was no slowdown at 720p, but granted I haven't tested it under extreme heat conditions. My assumption is that BlazBlue is simply not demanding enough to cause the same levels of stress as games with 3D graphics, and I don't see why BBCP would be any different in that department.
