  1. I'm willing to bet that the wallstick is for the corner only, similar to hakumen's j.C. It's probably supposed to help with corner combos.

  3. My opinions are fairly close to that. I'm not experienced enough in a lot of matchups yet to want to say whose favor they're in. Chaos and Akatsuki are definitely good. The top 3 are definitely at least slightly bad. Linne and Eltnum feel pretty bad to me right now (haven't fought Seth yet). Everyone else seems kinda even, give or take (or I just don't have enough experience to have an opinion).

  5. I'm planning on picking up a sub for UNIEL. Are there any characters you guys want experience for that we don't have already? Most of the cast seems pretty interesting to be honest. edit: just not Chaos. He looks boring and terrible
  6. Even though Hilda has so much range, 2B/2C lose round start to a lot of characters' ranged normals. I usually opt to just back off round start.

  8. 623B is /at least/ +8. 623B > 5A is a gap-less blockstring.
  9. I probably shoulda just said that haha. Just make sure you delay the 5C. So long as you haven't already used 22B in a combo, it seems to always keep them in hitstun until they land, which is perfect for helping get them low enough for the 5C > 3CC to work. I don't know if this is true for 22A. 623B is definitely plus on block. I'll change my twitter avatar to Noel if I'm wrong.
  10. Dai, in your combo after using 22B, the opponent wont tech until they hit the ground (or get close). Use a delayed 5C > 3CC > B lynchpin . It's what I've been using the last few days and it feels the most consistent (for me anyway).
  11. I don't think her a,b,and c normals count as projectiles. They are air unlockable and don't break other projectiles.
  12. I'm pretty sure that Hilda was abusing 623b only because of how much these guys were respecting her. Thinking about it, it's not even a good thing because of how much grid the opponents can get from simply choosing to block mids. I guess that sort of thing is good against the right people.

  16. That's good to hear. Gonna try to set up more stuff at UAT again soon. There's so much good shit to play right now (and so many more people playing them) that we can probably set up monthlies soon. Definitely want a place to play UNIEL, BB, P4U2, and XRD.
  17. What do you guys want to do about finding + cataloging good Hilda footage? Since we can't make a video thread, how about we make a google doc (or something) that we can all edit (or a volunteer could?) and see if Tigre could put the link into the main post? It would be really great if we could easily find videos of particular matchups or players.
  18. I remember hearing late-december at one point for the JP version, but it could have been a dream for all I know. Are you going to try out UNIEL, Justin? It's really easy to get into and the netcode is freaking fantastic as far as fighting games go.
  19. In pretty much every situation pad and stick are pretty much just personal preference, but now that I think about it, Hilda might be tricky on pad because of lynchpin. Good luck guys, I'm sure you can make it work

Easiest/Most consistent way to do this is to use any launcher (hold B) > 3CC > release B Not optimal by any means, but is still important even in higher damage combos. Day 1 bnb can be something like (2A) > (5B) > (2B) > (2C) > 623A (hold B) > 3CC > B release.
  21. I think she can be gross too. Like I said earlier, I think she deals with everyone just fine and I don't want to argue matchup numbers yet (I just have gordeau salt right now). This kind of thing isn't the best advice, but I think she can beat everyone if she plays (like DaiAndOh said) perfectly, or mistake free. When she wins without letting the opponent touch her, she feels disgusting.
