  1. I've heard from a few places that 5A is 8 frames now. I can't confirm this though. 1 frame doesn't seem like a big deal for pressure, especially considering how minus on block all of her pressure already is. Defense is where I think this change will make the biggest difference. We were already limited with being able to mash out of certain setups (IE: IB Chie's 5A pressure), where we had to rely on throw. Personally, assuming this is true, I don't see it as being too big of a deal. The extra range and pressure options outweigh this, at least at first glance.

  3. I really just want the increased growler hitstun so we wont be minus afterwards. It's the worst reversal (imo) in the game because of that. Even Bullet's, which is widely considered pretty bad, gives her a real knockdown. The knockdown would be going too far, but I at least don't want to be at a disadvantage just for landing it. I can confirm that Hazama's tracking super punishes growler. edit: Just wanted to say that I want growler changed, just because I'm greedy. Buufs would be nice, but it's understandably not necessary.
  4. If they don't want to increase the hitstun on Growler, then they could just stop giving moves non CH recovery. I'm feeling spiteful :P

  6. Something along those lines would certainly be a big deal, allowing for OD to be used almost like an OMB in persona (to extend or confirm combos not possible otherwise, without needing meter). Unlikely as it would be to happen, it's a cool idea.
  7. Regardless of how it turns out, I'm glad they're attempting to make Overdrive more beneficial for Azrael. I'm aware of some uses but I still rarely find myself using it outside of just popping it to add 300 damage to BHS.
  8. I'm happy it's there and it's something most character threads don't include at all. I mean no offense but I feel it could be expanded on a little. Azrael has so much more combo potential than the majority of the cast and it's a shame that more people don't make use of that simply because they don't know what works on which characters. At some point I want to make a video that goes a little more in depth. edit: if nothing else, it would be nice to have a visual reference for that section

Unfortunately the answer is no TC > Valiant does not work midscreen on Litchi, Rachel, Platinum, and Nu-13. edit: At some point I want to make a short doc for combos that goes in depth about all of the character specific combo routes. There's so many that it's hard to keep track of what's possible against each character.
  12. It's sooooo good now. I'm mostly just thankful that it reaches the same range on all characters now. Character specific pressure made me sad. Apparently 5A can still be low profiled by a lot of moves, but I can't confirm which ones right now.

  15. I won my local yesterday, fighting a pretty strong Kokonoe in Grand Finals. Unfortunately it wasn't streamed this time
  16. I was lacking on quantity for some of the ingredients, so I made it half-and-half with Ghirardelli mix. There's a WAY better recipe I have that doesn't do anything like that. The only problem is that it costs a lot of money and takes like 5 times as long. Maybe someday... edit: the other problem is that it would have nuts. refuse to put in the effort and NOT put in nuts. Kokonoe doesn't seem to have many changes, but "changes to her revolver action" could be big. Her damage should be less silly now. I'm a little disappointed that there wont be a loketest. Seems like a good way to make more mistakes imo. Bullet and Izayoi were arguably two of the worst characters before, so it looks like they're getting some love. There were changes for Kagura and Terumi in the full post. I'm guessing that most characters will be seeing some changes, even if they're relatively small compared to what some of the new characters are getting. There was some stuff about Bang in there too. There's also this. I really think they should stop messing with input priority in blazblue games. If you input the move, you should get it. This crap makes no freaking sense. edit: Also, that xrd trailer got me hyped for the game. Still don't know which characters interest me. I'll figure that out eventually.

  21. There's no need to apologize just because you haven't heard of someone before. Besides, there's no definitive way to say who the best player(s) is/are. At the end of the day we all get to form our own opinions Personally, I still think LordKnight's the best US/NA Mitsuru. No one else has performed nearly as well at majors (Although I'm going to try my best to start making it to them). As far as Japan goes, I've thought Minori was the their best Mitsuru for a long time, ever since he won Arc-Revo. Although, it was obvious he took a break near the end of P4A's life because he looked kind of awkward playing at GodsGarden. At that point, I was starting to think Die-Chan was becoming the Mitsuru god. He looked incredibly solid, and overall MUCH stronger than when he went to evo (or before that). Unfortunately he plays Sho now though Another one of the "Mitsuru Gods" I've heard about is someone who goes by K-Neko. There's really not much footage of him though, and none for suplex as far as I can tell. Shuuto's always been really good, he won SBO afterall. Watching him, I disagree with a lot of his choices, but you can't argue with results. He always seems to get them results. It's kind of funny that I'll be playing his color again in suplex. He played Disco Mitsuru (#6) in p4a, and now it seems he's using the Margaret color (she's my favorite p4 character).

  23. The arcade patch for BBCP is aimed for mid-March. The article also mentions character rebalancing, although it's likely just for Terumi, Kagura, and Kokonoe. I wonder when the console version will get that update. Ted, I'm sure you'll be feeling good and get good results so long as you keep working with your Litchi. She's a fantastic character in this version, she just takes some getting used to.
  24. I've put a lot of work into that part of her. She certainly has the toolset for it.
  25. I'm looking forward to her changes as well. More tools, less BS damage.
