Great post. I was wondering how to express my feelings about the "infinite" correctly, but you just about summed it all up.

I'd recommend giving factual arguments from now on, rather than just insulting people. Reading a lot of your posts seem like you're really reaching to rip apart (sometimes even kindhearted) posts.

This really sucks for Kokonoe players who have put a lot of time and effort into getting good with her. Sure, they could switch to another character, but maybe they don't want to feel like they're starting all over, or maybe they just never found anyone else fun. It's unfortunate that we're even in this situation, and it's unfair for Kokonoe players who really do enjoy the character. I'm still 100% behind a ban though. She makes me feel like no matter how much effort I put into the game, it will be for nothing (unless I switch to her). Almost my entire state hates her with a passion. I know more players who wont play because of Kokonoe than I know Kokonoe players at all. imo, that more than justifies a ban. I guess I'm just trying to show that I understand both sides of this. On a side note, I would like to mention how annoying it is that a lot of koko players (not you of course) keep falling back on "They're banning her because no one wants to learn the matchup!" Perhaps it is possible to consistently beat top Kokonoes if you understand enough about her. Maybe we'll see someone show this knowledge off at a major sometime. But I think it is incredibly unreasonable to expect 99.9% of the community to be willing or even capable of doing this. People have 25 other matchups to worry about too. There is so much specific stuff you need to know in order to escape much of her "rigged" stuff that most players will be unable or unwilling to learn to deal with it. I'm not saying that these sort of statements are unjustified. They probably hold some truth, in that Kokonoe is beatable (possibly even at top levels) if you know as much about her as the other player does. It's just that these kinds of broad statements are both uneducated (by clearly not attempting to understand the other side of the argument) and selfish/childish (ba-baka!).

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. No one should give you a hard time for wanting her to stay. You should also respect other peoples' opinions. You appear to be starting a pointless argument that is not completely relevant to the topic.

It's worth pointing that out and I'm glad you did, but that doesn't fix the problem entirely. It's another absolutely retarded option that she gets. She'll wreck average to good players 100% with it. Against better players who put in the time to learn stuff like this, you could just start working in mixup with it. The mixup could be as simple as NOT doing the setup properly. Saying everyone wants to ban her because they don't want to learn the matchup is an incredibly broad statement. Sure, I'd rather not have to, but I already AM learning it. I'm working on it with several people at the moment, and the more stuff we find, the more I realize that she ruins the game. I've actually decided not to take Blaz seriously until she gets banned or patched, and this was before the infinite was found.

First and foremost, Tournament Organizers are the ones who have to make these decisions. They don't play every game and can't be expected to understand everything about them all either. Any of them who have to put their foot down on this sort of thing wont do so without feeling that it's the best choice they can make. I highly doubt anyone would make a decision to ban a character without good reason or the backing of the (potential) participants. The TOs who decide to ban (or not to ban) Kokonoe are undoubtedly doing their research, asking their community, and anything else they feel they need in order to make that decision. Will some people stop going to tournaments if she isn't banned? Will Kokonoe players choose not to participate with other characters if she is banned? How much support is on either side? What does the community think as a whole? Alex Jebailey made that poll so he could look for his own answers. We all have our own opinions and (probably strong) feelings, but we should respect whatever decisions are made by TOs. They're the ones risking a backlash, the ones putting their reputation on the line. It's important to them that they be as informed as possible so they can make decisions to help run the best events they can. Respect their decisions. Most of them are on twitter and are open to hearing feedback. Whether you support them or disagree, It's worth speaking up, so long as you try to be polite about it. Personally, I would like to see her banned until she gets an update. Originally, I wanted to wait and see how she evolved and how she performed before I made up my mind, but now I just think she has too much. A few days ago I even decided to drop blazblue competitively because of her. If she is banned from majors I wish to attend, then I'll play the game again. These are just my feelings. I wont make a fuss if she's permitted in most places. I doubt she would be without good reason. Whatever you guys think of her, PLEASE respect the decisions of your tournament organizers. Finally, I want to say to all the people who are annoyed with the seemingly endless discussions about kokonoe that I'm sorry. It probably wont end anytime soon. If you're indifferent and are just sick of hearing about it, try your best to raise your ignore levels to 110 percent. What happens is important to a lot of people right now, so just respect that. It doesn't help anything to say "Haven't we heard enough about Koko-Puff-Zilla already?"
