I almost succeeded in making it with Bryce and another friend. Ended up rewatching Stein's;Gate and playing inFamous2 instead. I'm also pretty pleased that I succeeded in getting my SSS back. I don't know why it matters, but for some reason I'm proud of it.

Well I can confirm that I can no longer attend today. Thanks for the ride offers. I guess I'll just spend all night in Ranked getting my SSS back. I need a new hobby.

I think it's more than reasonable to think that players looking for more advanced material would be willing to click on a link to the forums. Personally I NEVER look at the wiki for ANYTHING. For anyone who put more than a few short days into a character it's very limited. However, it serves it's purpose and does it really well. There are probably tons of people who want to get into these games or get information on their characters and it's the simplest place to look. Overwhelming them with a ton of stuff could be discouraging. It just makes more sense to keep it simple and give them the option to know more by directing them to various threads when appropriate.

By "quite late" I'm assuming you mean past midnight. Considering I've been sick recently and that my parents are, well... crazy... I'll assume I can't do that. I'll see what Bryce thinks about it. If I can manage to drag him along then I'd be able to get home in time no problem. I'll probably have to bribe him with food.

Assuming someone else was going who could give me a ride, that time seems perfect. Persona casuals is some of the most fun I get these days.

Blade, do you mainly play on Live or PSN? I'd be willing to play with you sometime. Just be warned that I'd probably suck because I've been going all out on p4a recently. EDIT: I've got no clue what we could expect connection wise, but it couldn't hurt to try it out for a few matches.

I think I'm actually going to take Persona more seriously for the next few weeks. Gonna spend tons of time playing / conversing with Dave, for obvious reasons. At the very least, I would like to get to grand finals once or twice, maybe win a tournament or two. I was pretty dissapointed with how I did last season, getting 3rd 2 or 3 times, but never getting in GFinals.

Good games guys, Muji Con was a lot of fun. Too bad there were only 2 persona setups. Honestly I'm regretting going, because now that I have a chance to relax, I feel like shit. My ear's ringing so loud that I can't make out some words people are saying on TV. Does anyone know that Don guy? He was really fun to talk to and play persona with. I agree entirely with Yuki and Metal. A very common issue with combo threads is how cluttered and overwhelming they can get. Having a section of basic BNBs is the simplest imo. You could just list which starters each of them work with. However, Zeth is right that we can't do a good job determining which combos are BNB worthy without having the game for ourselves. Even after we all have our own copies, we'll need to keep it updated. Things change over time. One thing that I've always appreciated is a guide that can explain the theory behind combos, so that you have an understanding of what will work in any situation, rather than memorizing lists of combos. Even if you don't play Tager, I urge everyone here to take a look at Manta's Tager CS:EX guide. It does an excellent job of this. Since I plan on going all out on on CP, and all out on Azrael, I'd like to give a shot at making my own guide for him. Not sure how that'll go, but I'll definitely stick with it and update with everything you guys would like to add. It's not like any one person knows everything about any character. Group effort and all that stuff. A big part of me just really wants the Azrael forum to be as helpful and new user friendly as possible. You know, the exact opposite of how most character forums are for Persona. Seriously, some important pages like combo and video threads haven't been updated since BEFORE the US release of that game. It really contrasts with how good of a job Zeth and Blade are keeping up with video threads for Azrael and Hakumen, respectively.

My motherboard crapped out again, in the same exact fashion as last time. I should be able to get it replaced at Fry's for free under my warranty, but I'm still worried that it could happen again at some point. Ruben sometime after you get back in town, would you mind putting it back together with me? It couldn't hurt to have someone else involved in this. You know, just in case I'm doing something stupid without realizing it.

There's only very general information on the Persona tournament (Sign up and start times) so I'm unsure of a few things. The Facebook post says "It would be helpful and fit with the theme of the event if your tournament was a team tournament..." and since I can't find any definitive info, it might just be a team tournament (which would be pretty cool). Heck, it doesn't even mention if it's double elimination, even though it probably is. So does anyone have more information on this? I'm probably reading too much into this. It's probably just been so long since the last time I went to something like this that I'm a bit excited. What else do I have to look forward to?

It's in option I guess. Since I haven't played the game myself, I try to refrain from making assumptions for things unless I've seen them. Maybe I have but I'm just not recalling it. I was pretty much just putting down a combo straight from one of the combo vids. If we could make it easier with regular dashes, then that would be great.

Wow that FC combo really is amazing. Since it is fatal I would assume a strong possibility that 3C could connect on standing opponents. If not, oh well. But if we can, oooohh the possibilities. I would argue that much stronger combos could work off starters like that. Since I know this works on some confirms (from one of the combo videos), I suspect it should work here. Who knows, we might be able to do more since we're talking about fatals. FC 5C > 6C > 5B > 3C > 22C > 2C > 2B > TCL > (IAD) j.B > 6A > (IAD) j.A > j.B > (land) j.B > j.D If something like that could work, that would be pretty much full screen corner carry and probably well above 4k. Seeing stuff like that makes me think so much. Oh and imagine what you could do off that confirm with weakpoints 0_o
