Will the thing on Saturday be streamed?

I glanced over most of the cast and no-one really strikes me in a "I have to play this guy" kind of way. Most likely, I'll just figure it out when I eventually do get the game.

So I'm considering downloading GG when it's released (when is that, exactly?). Since I have no experience with this series whatsoever, could you guys give me a hand in finding a few characters to try out? I suppose I would prefer someone with good spacing normals, but not just a projectile zoner. I want to try to get hyped for this, and well, I suppose fantasizing about which character to play is a good way to do that.

Having never played GG, it's hard for me to get excited about a late installment of the series. I just really don't care to be honest. I'll probably download it (it is downloadable, right? shows how must I've looked into it) and learn the basics. Just don't expect me to be good enough to participate in tournaments.

Time to get a great deal on shoes and other manly accessories!

I wont say he's a bad Labrys at all. I will say that I play against a few better ones online. Dayummmm they can be scary once they get some momentum. She's still a garbage character, though.

I know what you mean, but seriously, how can you expect me to be salty if I lost a Kanji mirror? I think I knocked Justin and Roch out in winners and losers. It seems like the brackets could have been set up better. EDIT: Come to think of it, I played Justin first the time previous as well. In that tourney, all of Phoenix guys eliminated each other until it was all Tuscan in finals.

I'm sorry that you didn't make it to Haz's. It seemed like no one was there.

That's a pretty awesome time for me. I wouldn't have to be leaving super early.

I'd be down to bring some snacks, however, I'm still not in a position to bring a setup yet. Just because I'm curious, what time of the day were you thinking? I guess since it's the weekend, anytime would work. Just for me, night doesn't work so well, given that I'm 17.

That would be pretty nice. I'm not sure if you would prefer daytime or afternoon/night, but for sure Saturdays would be easy for me.

Well.... I feel silly

I feel like I left kind of early too and that I hardly got to play with anyone. After the tourney, there wasn't a single Persona setup. I pretty much fought the same people over and over again. Justin and Roch were pretty much the whole tournament for me.

GGs everyone. I had fun playing. Good job to Gabe and Lorenzo (sorry if I didn't spell that correctly). Venezia's didn't work out for me. Long story short: I have bad chronic migraines and I have for years. My parents are curious about if it's related to Gluten, so, just to humor them, I'm avoiding it for one month. I'll be back to eating tasty shit soon. And if Ted is curious, I got 3rd place for the season pot. Gabe got 2nd and we all know that Marvin got 1st. Seriously, if hilarious to see him win money, even when he isn't there. 3rd place gave me 10 bucks, so I assume Marvin should get roughly 70. Between all my winnings this season, I broke even. Not too bad, I suppose. Lastly, when are we gonna do something again? It's too bad that hardly anyone made it this time. Jimmy, you should learn to play this game so you can enter and give someone else a chance to commentate. It looks fun. Oh ya... And HOW... THE FUCK do you plug a controller into a 360, without turning it off in the process. I swear, I did that at least 4 times today.

I'm having people over tonight, so I wont make it to whatever is going on. Expect me and my friend to make it to Haz's tomorrow.

The most fun I ever had was the occasional matches where you read the opponent every time and turn them into Tager's mop. The floors have never been cleaner.

I'm not sure why but I'm pumped for CP. Even though the two stupidest characters are making a return (no offense to mu or lambda players), I can't wait. I want to play Relius a lot now for some reason. The only thing I'm disappointed in is how bad Hakumen looks now. No corner carry, drastically reduced damage, no thanks.

Does anyone have an expectation for whether CP will be region locked? My friend is looking to buy a Japanese copy when it comes out (he's learning Japanese and getting quite good at it) and want's to know if he needs a Japanese PS3 too. It's my understanding that CT was region free, while CS was region locked. He heard something a while back about how they weren't planning on region locking any more games but he's not sure if it was arcsys or atlus.

Wait a minute. Didn't they confirm that both Mu and Lambda wouldn't be playable? I really hope that isn't from CP. Those characters can both go to hell. Oh ya... No offense to anyone who plays them. I just found them to be really, REALLY annoying.

I might be able to do something Friday, not sure yet. depends where and how I'd get there mostly.
