This is basically my reason for reluctance as well. I tried getting into the SRK forums for the UT FGC and the response was pretty much "lolanime" Who knows. I've learned first hand and first-person that people are friendlier IRL than online.

360 has +R. It is real.

For those who haven't realized: AC+R is available on 360 (NA & JP). To get the update you have to download the add-on DLC (free) from the XBL Marketplace.

Want some games lime? Would prefer XBL if you still can though.

To clarify my stance, I'm interested as long as we can do our anime stuff. The post made it seem very much just like a SF casuals/tournie is all. Some guy even asks him about other games and he replies with something to the effect of "for now I'd like to keep it at SF" I'm willing to contribute to the venue fee if we can set up our anime stuff. I'm hoping to get a portable stream setup soon. Very importantly though, don't mark me as someone interested in entering the SF tournament to contribute to the venue fee (he was asking for a headcount for that). If it's sometime this winter season its extremely unlikely I'll even be able to go anyway.

Still need more persuasion. I loathe everything about capcom fighters and I usually don't enjoy the company of those who play them. Just seems weird to go to an event that doesn't have what I want. On the FB post it specifically says he's not inclined to do anything but SF (at least for now).

As much as I'd like to rep the Utah scene if it's just stuff like SF/Marvel I have 0 interest in going. I really only like anime fighters. I probably won't be able to make it to anything for the next couple of months either. Work piling up like crazy lately.

You should netplay us more often man. 4bar is totally playable. There's probably literally less delay in our netplay than you can get locally on a laggy display. I think 4 bars is ~20ms and a single frame is 16ms'ish For whatever reason though Shar and I have a relatively mediocre 2 bar conn lol. Pretty sure it's just PSN. Doesn't happen on XBL. The snow will come. We've already endured a winter storm of sleet and heavy rain so it's only a matter of time.

I think you've never had issues because you've never experienced the XBL master race netplay. Admittedly though 4bar PSN is basically the same as 4bar XBL (although Nemesis and I do have this really rare tiny freeze on PSN that's still annoying). I find it hilarious how bad our conn is on PSN Shar when you live like <10 miles away.

Let's just hope CP doesn't have the same bizarre issue NG2 has on PS3 (no audio from PS3 only while playing NG2, it's so weird)

I now have an HDMI splitter that allows 360 and PS3 streaming! Too bad my PC capture card is not portable though. Look forward to CP streams.

You'd have to rely on chain movement shenanigans but the simple fact that 45degree SB would deter j5/4/6D so much is a powerful new tool for Tager. In 4 weeks we'll be able to see for ourselves. I'm really curious about its uses against Tao as well. During neutral she's either crawling to avoid your SB or too high in the air to get hit by it. 45 degree would help with the second situation.

He wouldn't be able to dodge a reactive spark bolt I can guarantee that. For the snake chain cancels D and C would fly straight into it and B would dodge up and backwards which wouldn't avoid it either. Remember in a situation where Tager would even use 45 spark bolt would be when Hazama double/super jumps out of normal SB range. Remember Spark Bolt kills projectiles; Tager could just use it in reaction to a j6D/j4D/j5D

lol dying in super armor always looks weird. Really curious to see how 45 degree Spark Bolt will change this matchup. I know that I as a Hazama main am terrified at the idea. Hazama's really vulnerable when he's up in the air and setting up his chain stuff. ---- Me pretending I know Blood Kain combos

The freezing is pretty awful but the delay is okay for us (mac). Nemesis' conn is fine obviously.
