I really have lost count of the number of times I've lost a match after missing Zaneiga after Houtenjin, when I would've won the game had it worked. Results in this basically. (minor NSFW)

Why would anyone record battle dialogue between Carl & Valkenhayn and make a YouTube video out of it? -
He doesn't have low-poly boobs, he doesn't count. I think I remember reading that Relius saw the "core" of all humans (symbolized as like a ball of light) and ever since then he's considered humans nothing more than things instead of people.
-
His EU voice does sound cool lol, too bad you can't set them on character-specific basis. I was just wondering if the Latin he's saying might have some kind of special meaning to his story or something. Are Ignis/Nirvana the first battle dolls he's ever made? Or are they the latest in a long line of experiments?
-
He does "describe Ignis' actions" in both languages; remember he has two voicesets for each language. For instance in EU he says "Exsustio" or "Dance, Ignis." In Japanese he specifically says his movelist. i.e. Id Lauger = "Id Lauger!" (although it sounds like IDO LIE-DUH but that's just JP engrish voices) In EU I think he goes "Monarx! Pulse!" (236C~214A) or "Monarx! Cruor!" (j236C~214B) Monarx sounds more Latin-y than Monarchs. He does say "Vol Tedo" in English though.

Is that Tsunna actually Tsunna or Tsuuna? I actually know a person named Tsuuna, but not Tsunna. And he's a Bang-main BB player. -

A really craptastic, Mizuchi corner that works on everyone with no TKs at all is: Confirm (in this case, 5C) > Houtenjin > sZaneiga > CU 66C > no dash 2C > delay > 5C > 6D~A > 4D~A > jb.8D~A > Jakou > 2C > jCx5 > 2C > 4D~A > 4D~delay Jakou > 3C > Mizuchi Immensely suboptimal, but it's there. It's important to note that the second 4D does not use an A Cancel. For some reason my brain is remembering something about Mizuchi dropping halfway through on a combo similar to this, but I'm pretty sure this variation does actually work. It's been a while since I used a combo this bad. -
He gained 20 Heat off of that combo by the way, not sure if he could've done more though. He used a SMP Bsledge at the end when he may have been able to do something better.
-
Are they by any chance a group of names that have some relationship? Perhaps in a myth of sorts. In English he says completely different stuff though. "Id Lauger" sounds like "Monarchs!" to me. and Duo is like "Exsustio" Req Vinum is easily recognizable in English as "Machina > Ultima"
-
Only thing I can speculate on right now is that if Bsledge hits at long range the 5A will hit but 5B follow-up will whiff. So you'd be reduced to 5A > 3C > follow-up. Then again this is CP, for all I know the new stun mechanics allow 5A > 5C on Bsledge confirm. Definitely better than nothing though. Guaranteed 5A is nice for 360 mix-ups. Where exactly in this vid does he do it? Nevermind found it. Pretty just proved my point about 5B. Still 2800 in corner on non-ch Bsledge is nothing to sneeze at.

I thought that was for fighting Mu.
-
I said "In CSX" so that means Extend, I meant "you can do this in Extend, so what's its equivalent in CP?" In CSX you continue 6D with a j2C > 2C in most situations. I have no idea what's optimal in CP.

There's only one mirror worse than Tager. And it's just me lying because there isn't one.
-
I do notice that EU Relius says completely different things than JP relius. Only one I recognize is "Cruor!" which means to let blood.
-
That's called a paradox.
-
I don't know if my Tager qualifies as good but I can be on in about 15m I'm on now Deadliest.
-
I just had a hilarious image of Relius waving one of those stereotypical giant lollipops in front of someone and saying "You can have it if you just let me run a couple tests!" I must make this my next sprite project...

BlazBlue Question Thread - Ask your questions here!

I think in CP the "super SMP" only applies to Special moves. But i could be easily be wrong. I just feel I've seen a lot of "Same Attack Combos" that proc'ed on normals that still worked. Usually 6C or 3C. They weren't good combos, obviously, but they still worked, just like in CSE. A good example is how in CSE Tager's 6C has SMP properties but you can still 6C > ... > 6C > MTW Hazama of course just breaks all the rules. -

Completely gimps your proration in most cases. Its called SMP commonly and its present in CSE even though it doesn't display anything. Its to make people use different moves in combos. -

When using this combo, most of my stuff is still relevant, but as I said before, what's most important is knowing how to connect it after doing a microdash. For instance if you know you can do microdash > tk x2. Then that means you can just do tk x N > microdash tk x2 and it will work. The end is what's most important, not the total number of reps (although obviously the total number of reps will dictate how many you can do beforehand) As for the 1-rep stuff, I really am drawing a blank imagining a confirm that only allows you 1-rep but you can still do the dash under > tk > jakou > further tks. So it's kind of pointless that my 1-rep stuff doesn't technically work on this combo (you'll practically never use 1 rep anyway) -
Relius promised candy to them.

Not entirely sure what you mean by this, I'm assuming Hiren is Wind Serpent's Fang. Are you saying to do a dash TK loop after doing cross-under 6C? I believe I've tried that before and it's not optimal if I remember correctly. My combo (which I currently believe is optimal) is: (Corner) 5C (or any confirm) > Houtenjin > dash sZaneiga > cross-under 6C > dash 2C > delay > 5C > 6D.A > 4D.A > Jakou > etc. etc. Also, I know for a fact that 9jCx5 does not work on Haku-men, having failed it on him many times. However, Dash > 8jCx5 (that's right, 8) > 5C > Gashou > 3C > Mizuchi does work on Haku-men and a number of other people. What's most important for doing corner Mizuchi is simply know how to perform your TK loops to get it to work off of a close dash. For instance if you know your opponent gets hit by "dash into > tk loop x2 > gashou > 3c mizuchi" then all you really need to do is make sure to end your combo with a microdash into them before two tk loops. The rest of the combo is irrelevant, so long as it provides enough stun proration. -
In CSX you can do 6D > Mugen > Kishuu > Renka then proceed to Renka (1) > Zantetsu (1) > Kishuu for a while and end it with Shippu, does about 7.5k+ off of 6D I have no idea about CP, but if Zantetsu > Shippu is better than it must be terrible.
-
Doesn't 6D have okay proration now though? So wouldn't 6D > Mugen be like a 1 shotter?
-
Can you still Mugen off of 6D?
