Well, it's a wiki. If you want to see the pages at they were before the Love Max edits, you can do the following: Browse to the page you wish to view Click the "View History" tab in the top right corner of the page Click the "prev" link of the revision just before June 2014 when Love Max dropped Scroll past the revisions to the bottom where the old page is shown as it was before the edits Though, snooping around a few character's page, it doesn't really look like a lot of the characters' pages existed before Love Max released and the revision note for their creation is labeled "Old AH3 Wiki Migration". Is it possible that the wiki you're thinking of is a different wiki? I only started following Arcana with the recent Love Max release so I wouldn't know.

Welcome! If you are in search of friends, be sure to make liberal use of the player database listed in the Online Matchmaking thread. There's also a link in the thread to add yourself to the sheet if you're interested.

I think the most neat thing about that video for me was them showing off 41236C invincibility. I had no idea about it. I'll have to experiment with that. There are probably a few normals that are AU as well. 5B and 3B seem like the most likely glancing at her normals. Maybe one of her Cs too.
-
Be sure to let us know the results of your 2C knockdown oki experiments. I'm pretty curious about reliable ways to set up her oki. You've got a pretty good list going so far. The only thing I'd add to it is oki setups from both Sealing Hoplon (22X) and EX Sealing Hoplon

And with this, I've edited my post after the OP and officially started my Nanase Video post. IT was a nice CMV. It should be a nice visual aid for people learning her combos.

Lots of really good information here. Big thanks for this extra combo timing info and going through the trouble of validating the wiki combos. It's going to be a big help when my copy arrives and it's time to training mode with Orie ^,^
-
Haven't tried it myself since my copy is still shipping but I remember a long time ago there was some concerns about whether the in-birth wiki info was from vanilla UNiB or UNi:EL. Not sure if that ever got cleared up. It's possible some of the combos listed no longer work. Of course, it's also possible that the combos are just hard to execute. I know DP into 5A still works from videos I've watched so your issue might be timing for that one.

Very interesting. I was expecting her force function to be useful for combos but the jump cancel properties on block are a very interesting surprise. Fireball oki setups sound very nice too. Also, let me know if you guys want to use my post after the OP for anything, I can edit things into there no problem. I was sort of hoping to use it as a makeshift Nanase Video post when videos start coming in.

I believe it will be available on their PSN. Someone posted this earlier.

Just to let you guys know, I got the e-mail form Amiami a few minutes ago. So hopefully, you'll be getting yours soon or it's already waiting in your inbox ^,^

Hmmmm, good point, I think I'm going to change the description of that move to just "can detonate musical notes". Thanks for that observation! -

Good suggestion. I've updated the info for these moves to let people know they detonate musical notes. Might do a little something extra to make them stand out. Not sure about No Touching! but all the other moves definitely detonate the musical notes. The problem is when you have to detonate notes that are far away. 2B, jB and ROCK YOU! all have a pretty short range. 5B has some good range but It also requires proper spacing and it'll only go about a 1/3rd of the screen I think. Oh well. Even if it can only be detonated at close range, it'll still be good for oki and getting people into blockstun or hitstun to allow us to get in. -
[P4AU] Rise Kujikawa Gameplay Discussion

Updated the OP with the new info I found in the notes 5B only detonating the bottom musical note is interesting. I thought it would've detonated both. The dash cancel on 5C is pretty nice but I need more hands on time with her Cs so I can get a better feel for how effective they'll be. The startup on them didn't seem too bad when I messed around with them but the projectile is pretty tiny. It should still be able to get the job done to control ground space though, even if it can be easily jumped and maybe ducked. hmmmm, one thing that's still bothering me is that there doesn't seem to be a good way to detonate musical notes from a distance. Feels like there should be a way. I'm not too sure about that. Because all of Rise's zoning tools have a long startup, any attempts to zone right off the bat will probably result in your opponent running up and bopping you before your move could come out. In order to get our zoning started, we're probably going to need to give players a reason to hesitate in trying to rush us down and then use that moment of hesitation to start our zoning. Unfortunately, this is going to prove hard to do because we don't have many good pokes that'll go head to head with other people's pokes. jB is good but like many jump normals, it'll lose to well timed and spaced 2Bs if we're being too predictable. 5B has good horizontal range but can be jumped over for a punish and the startup on the microphone stand throw is long enough that if we don't space it properly, we'll lose to run up pokes. In the end, we'll probably have to play a game of cat and mouse to get zoning started. We'll have to pretend like we are trying to run away to create space and then take people off guard at seemingly random moments with an IAD jB or a 5B while they're trying to catch us. Then once we've opened them up enough times like this, they'll start to be more careful in chasing us and then the zoning fun can begin. On the bright side, it seems like all we need is one D to get in and get pressure started so far. Though, the more I look at Rise's tools, I'm not quite sure if Rise's tools are really about zoning in the sense of keeping people out. The more I look at them, the more I think they're all specialized to allow Rise to get in or for mixups. I think the only zoning tools she has are 5C and jC. If we can find a way to detonate the musical notes from a distance, it could prove to be a strong zoning tool but right now, there doesn't seem to be a way to detonate them without using a B normal ;.; -
They offered all the Famitsu and Blazblue : Alter Memory bonuses separately on the NA store for BBCP so there's a good chance there'll do the same here. We'll have to wait and see though.

[P4AU] Rise Kujikawa Gameplay Discussion

Thanks guys! I've updated the info for 2A. I've also added a link to Beno's evo notes to the OP but it's a long read so I'll have to go through it for new info tonight. In the mean time, there seems to be a lot to discuss in these notes at a glance so...feel free to discuss! I'll give my thoughts later after I update the OP. -

If you have a link to the evo notes you're talking about, I can link it in the OP or put stuff from it into the OP or both. Though, I should mention I'm purposefully avoiding listing pressure strings, setups, etc. that people have found. Possibly. I've only ever seen it used up close. Do you have any footage from Evo of the 2A sending out the heart? -
No, she's coming out sometime after release. It's unknown exactly when she'll be coming.
-
yo, those bag normals. I'm guessing those are her B normals since the crouching one looks suspiciously like a good 2B. EDIT: Wait a minute, that's her hat in that 2B looking normal!!!...I might have to play this character.

Not too much of an inconvenience for me. Just means I have to space out my orders more instead of doing 2 big orders. Might leave a bit earlier from now on though (9:30ish). If this is a problem for anyone, be sure to speak up because I don't mind buying people a thing or 2 from the menu to cover them! Also, that's sad to hear Errol. I hope you guys were able to find a new place for meetups. -

Cool. I've added it to the OP. Thanks for the info guys! Hard to tell without seeing the footage but could've been they timed 2B too early or did it too late for the 6-8 head invuln to kick in. Not getting the spacing right on the 2B also feels like it could be a problem with jB's multi hit. It might be possible for one of the first hits of jB to whiff in the head invuln > Naoto's 2B whiffs > Naoto trades or gets bopped by one of the later hits of jB. Needs testing. Might be better to do Naoto's new Venom Zapper/Blight special instead in these cases since it has quicker and more head invuln (4-19)? Also, needs testing. -
Yeah, a lot of her colors are really nice. It was tough for me to finally decide on Dios de la Muerte I'm probably going to be playing this character as much as I play Nanase. I really need to start taking notes on her neutral game though. I played a match with her at Evo and I got destroyed pretty badly because I just finished playing quite a few matches with Nanase and was still in aggressive rushdown mode, lol. Also need to start taking notes on both meterless and meter oki setups.
