Rounded up what I could from the news and gameplay discussion thread! If you have anything else to contribute or any corrections, post them up! Hmmm, look over the list of stuff and what I saw at Evo this weekend, Rise might be a tough character for some to play. jB might be her best normal in terms of speed and reach right now, with the rest of her non-persona normals being sort of eh in terms of their hitbox. Feels like the 5B microphone stand throw could use some experimenting with though. Feels like there's more utility than meets the eye there. EDIT: Also, I wonder what her dash and hop cancellable normals are. If 5B has a dash cancel, we might be able to get in to start pressure from a blocked or hit 5B from certain distances. -

And just like that. We're up to 21 characters. I'm just absolutely amazed at how Ultimax keeps getting better and better. Can't wait to have this game at home already. Looking forward to seeing the scans of Marie's gameplay. Also, I need to start hunting down somewhere to order that P4AU PS3/PS4 stick.

These new character announcements are a pleasant surprise. Wonder if ASW will try and do another rebalance to go along with it. Guess we'll find out when the full details from the article surface. Celica looks nice. Dat intro with Ragna, lol. I'm sure she's going to be similar to Rise in terms of the vibe of her animations. I'm very intrigued by the addition of Lambda personally. Relius ended up being so pleasantly different in play style from Carl that I'm pretty excited to see how they're going to make Lambda different. This fall is definitely shaping up to be a blast for anime fans. Hope these characters don't take too long to appear in console but I guess we'll see.

Just got back from Evo. This game was lots of fun to play. Nanase definitely feels great to play. Going to spend a lot of time with her when the game drops next week. Quick Nanase note I noticed from playing that I didn't see mentioned. Her air wind projectile works very similar to Labrys new Bubble in P4AU in the sense that different buttons give different trajectories. - The A version goes straight out horizontally in the air. - The other non Ex/Super versions of the move will somewhat slowly fall down to the ground instead and then rush forward along the ground. It goes almost full screen (?). Couldn't test it out if it actually goes full screen, Either way, it was pretty useful if people gave you enough room to fire it off. - And then you have the Ex/Super version that you all already saw in the scans. -

Thanks for the upload bakahyl. The trajectory on that air version of Nanase's wind projectile looks really nice. Also, I'm pleasantly surprised by her diverse followups. I didn't think Evo could get more perfect. And then you posted this ^,^ -
In terms of vagueness, I was mostly talking about removing the feature altogether. Seems like I've caused a number of misunderstandings by not fully explaining myself. Sorry about that guys! But yeah, like I said, he says they plan to "Reel back" on what they did. Don't know if I want to trust the earlier part either since apparently the developer told him that BB has 56 player lobbies but not worth spending too much time on. If he's wrong about that point, someone at ASW will correct him later. Anywho, getting back to Arcade Lobbies in P4AU, no point in worrying about what it's inclusion means for the netcode at this point. Netcode isn't a static thing after all. It can be optimized or redone to get better performance. Also, as SoWL said and as I was suspecting earlier from the screenshots, they might've reduced the size of the lobbies to compensate as well. Yeah, timeshift/watching archives can't be done with the basic free account. If you try, it just prompts you to register for a Premium account. I don't think you have to go through all the trouble of recording it though. I'd be more interested to hear if you saw anything interesting during the stream. -

When did ASW say this? All I've ever heard is Maximillian make a second hand comment about how he heard they plan to "scale back" on what they did for BBCP, which is a pretty vague comment that doesn't really say anything honestly.

We're doomed ;.; On a more serious note, the unblockable might not be too bad. I need to see the reach on it and the start up. Nyakuya players probably won't be able to combo from it but it would still be neat just for the damage I guess. -
Who dares to fire bullets at my Labby-chan?!?! Awesome trailer. Arcade lobbies is a great confirmation.Going to be walking around as Asuka Labrys all day, every day! It has emotes again and the player matches quick messages which I think is new. I wonder if the Koromaru avatars are people or if they're like the pigeons in the BBCP lobby. Also, it's hard to tell from the 4ish screenshots/footage you see, but based on the number of setups I'm seeing and the design of the lobby, I have a suspicion that ASW have scaled down on the size of the lobbies to increase netcode performance. Going to have to wait for a famitsu article to confirm that though. The story mode interface is also looking pretty spiffy. Velvet room background and it feels like it has a more elaborate web than BBCP did for the selection of each chapter. Can't wait for this game. I'm so excited

Your best bet is to hit up Reyn, VinceX and find Shnarfl hanging around on Skullheart and see if you guys can settle on a day and time. Also, it only just occurred to me that if you guys are aiming to check in together to try and get seated together, you should probably agree to meet at the airport at a certain time. So post up when you guys can be there so you can work something out!!! I'll be arriving around 4ish because I'm weird like that and might/probably will be going ahead without you because I'm da bess.
