  4. That's true. I guess it's possible Miracleknight is talking about a scenario where his opponent is just about to be in the corner. This actually reminds me that while I was practicing the combo last night, I realized it was possible to side swap back to the other side depending on your timing in the j[C] follow up route, at least for small characters like Linne that I was practicing on. Was too busy trying to learn the combo properly to try and find out if it worked on anyone else. Maybe I'll look into it more later.

  7. That's strange. The 236A/B~6C corner combo pulsr does in his guide seems to keep them in the corner. Haven't really had time to test it out myself though. Maybe there's a special trick or some characters might have issues.
  8. For those who haven't seen it, Kurushii tweeted a new Xrd Famitsu scan showing off more of the console version (Thanks Kurushii!) https://twitter.com/Kurushii/status/494531322992672768
  9. Finally got my game yesterday. I can finally start being a part of this thread XD Where'd you hear this from/How'd you find this out? Not doubting you or anything, it's just that the frame data from Maven's twitter on the first page has these listed as - so I'm wondering if there have been new discoveries on these since then. Very nice guide pulsr. Tons of great info in here to play with. Thanks for creating it! Also, glad to see 236A~6C is becoming a regular combo part. I really like doing it in combos ^,^

  11. If you feel like you're finding yourself in an endless loop of getting combo'd and then immediately opened up again, it's usually a sign that your defense might need some work. The most important first step to fixing this problem is to save your replays of these matches and then review them. Try to highlight the moments where you are getting opened up again and what you could've done differently. You can also of course ask questions specifically about these situations if you can not find the answer on your own. Re-evaluating what your character's gameplan is and how well you're executing it while adjusting to what your opponent's capable of is another thing you can consider doing. For combos, first thing you want to check is the connection quality of the matches you are playing. The worse a connection is, the more input lag you'll have to deal with that could mess up your timing. Another thing you might want to consider is whether the combos you're doing are character specific or has special spacing requirements. This could also lead to drops. If these aren't the issue, well, it's still pretty early. The game has only been out for 5 days. You might just need to give yourself time to become more comfortable with your combos.
  12. Pretty much every retail site has it listed at September 30th but pretty much all the official stuff from Atlus themselves, including the english trailers they released last week, only say Fall 2014.
  13. changing Lambda's 4B to being a 6B feels like a mostly pointless change but I'll wait to see it's function and frame data. Lambda's drive doing both hits in one button press is very interesting though. Now, I see what they meant by her drive specializing in lockdown. This should ideally give her a lot of time to get in or reposition herself on hit or block
  14. Somehow, I knew they were going to do this. Was sort of hoping for a new theme specifically for her.
  15. This has been bothering me a lot lately. We're less than a month from JP release and still no concrete NA release date. I'm already bracing myself for a delay. As for the JP copy being region locked or not, everything about this is pretty strange. Usually, the people localizing get their info on features like this from the original Japanese developers and the info should apply to both versions of the game by default unless one of them intentionally changes how it works specifically for a given region. So it's pretty weird that Atlus USA can only comment on the NA version in terms of region lock. Well, guess we'll see what happens. Can't really assume anything from what we've heard so far.
  16. Some neat combos here. I like the use of 236A~6C in combos so I'm probably going to use some of these myself. Thanks for sharing! it's in the post you quoted but it's called d.B and d.C. d.B (66B)...19F(-7) d.C (66C)...29F(-2)
  17. It says we should post this sort of stuff here in the OP so...beginning a first pass at updating Nanase's movelist and combo section...?...!
  18. Well, I got a sparkly new Mizuumi Wiki account now so I'm going to start adding stuff from this thread to Nanase's wiki tonight. I've made a list of some combos posted in this thread that I plan to toss on the wiki for now. Once we get some agreed upon BnBs, we can add and remove stuff or even just color code BnBs. Anyway, let me know if you want anything added or removed from this list!
