Can we call this mashfest "GreeniX's Mad Science experiment"? I was planning to only start practicing Bullet when I finally have a copy of the game but I guess now's as good a time as any to start practicing. And if I get banned from using Bullet, then it's back to Tsubaki, though I haven't really enjoyed playing her since CS2 You sub Carl? Crazy stuff. -
I'm looking forward to training mode. It'll accelerate people finding new combos and setups.

Geez, did everyone decide to have their Christmas party today? I also have my work Christmas party tonight. Apparently, everyone thought it would be good luck to have it on Friday the 13th, lol I also like this about the new location. It's really only the fact that it's kind of cramped that's bothering me. But like I said, I'll probably adapt to it quickly. -

The Foonzo burger lived up to the hype. Baby, it blew my mind! ^,^ Kind of iffy about the new location of the PS3s though. Kind of cramped but eh, it'll grow on me. GGs in SG Reyn. I was so rusty in my first couple of matches though. But now that the console patch is near, I'll soon be shaking off this perma-rusty state for good. Also, thanks for explaining all that CP Bang Stuff to me. I actually didn't know much about CP Bang other than FRKZ is an overdrive now. That 2B > 6B stuff sounded hella cool. When I get my Rachel becomes decent one day, we'll have to some epic BB matches like we do in SG XD Wish I got to hear more about everyone's time at NEC. Too busy having fun with my bestest buddy who I hadn't seen since he went back to school at the end of summer, lol. Next time. -

That news about finalizing the contract for a console version is great to hear. The wait for us to give this game a whirl is slowly coming to an end. Soon, Yuzu and Orie. Soon. EDIT: Eagerly awaiting the January 31st stream too. I hope this good news is a PS3 release date or Nanase reveal. Also, thanks for posting this news Sourenga! I've only heard talk about a PS3 version. I would be really surprised if they did it on anything else. -

Might be a bit useful but right now, my gut feeling is that the bubble is so small and the path it travels is so straightforward+only inconveniences people IADing that most of the cast can probably maneuver around it with little difficulty.

I think it might have something to do with making everything go dark...or more like I'm hoping it has something to do with that because I thought that was pretty cool. Guess we'll find out on December 19th. I'd say Sho's teleport is bit more useful in neutral because it seems to teleport him in the air on either side of the screen, making it harder to mash him out of it or accidentally hit him with a normal/move that hits behind the character. Doesn't seem like it's quite 1F. One of the failed attempts to trigger it had Kanji's 5A whiff during the invuln of the startup but not trigger the counter. Not sure if it only activates against overheads/highs either. I think the main reason they switched to Kanji's jB was because it was easier for them to time the counter super on reaction. Definitely a tricky super but the pay off is pretty good.

Teleports, a counter super that makes the whole screen go black except the opponent and a command grab that heals him...Red alert people! lol EDIT: That counter super seems to have very little frames to catch people though. They were having a tough time triggering. So not really sure if that's going to be practical in the end

Palletized birthday art for Chaos is pretty nice. I hope the french bread stream gives us an update on the potential PS3 port or at least gives us an idea on what they're doing now with UNi:EL. Maybe we'll get a peak at Nanase. -

S-Hold system might be decent in the corner where the bar is obscured. Might be a good scare tactic, once in a blue moon midscreen if you can cancel the charge somehow like back dashing. But overall, I wouldn't hold my breath for a decent meterless reversal option. This feels like a very intentional design choice, especially when looking at her DP.

The S-Hold system is where you can hold the A button to make a special or super come out with special properties. Depending on how long you hold it, different things come out with different properties from last I heard in the loketest. Good to hear. Can't wait to see optimal combos ending in SB Beast ^,^

Great tutorial. I liked the vs. Super and Astrals section. The teleport dodges were pretty cool and the black hole vs. black hole part was silly in a hilarious way. -
Thank you for posting that CMV tectal. That was simply beautiful. Need to get this CMV onto my phone and tablet so I can watch anytime, lol Her combos are looking really good right now, lots of combo routes. I'm very pleased by this. I wasn't expecting the hop cancel from 5B to be so useful. They also got a lot of mileage out of all the new dash cancels as well, which is really great. That one Houjuu combo was pretty neat and we got a nice peak at the Red Axe j2B loop. Chain Knuckle's A followup is proving to be quite useful too, especially if you cancel it into SB Guillotine Axe. I'm glad it didn't turn out as garbage as it did at the loketest. It also seems like you can combo FC throws without OMCing for 6.5k in Red Axe if you do D Beast. Not sure how often that's going to come up in play but it's still pretty nice. On a sidenote, seeing the new j2B for myself, I'm liking the hitbox but it looks a bit slow to come out. Not sure if it'll be useful in air to air battles. But we'll see Seems like it. It seems to be especially good in the corner because it's hard to see the bar charging because the character's are obscuring it. Pretty neat.

Interesting. So even projectiles trigger the counter. This could be useful in some cases. Judging by that damage, B Brutal Impact seems to more or less do the same damage it used to. Hope this stream archive or recording ends up in the video thread later. I'm curious to see this in action for myself. The change to jBB is also an interesting change, though I'm having trouble imagining it. Might open up new combo routes.
