  1. Veteru already posted up about the IAD SW when I asked about it. It's not exactly anything new. The input can be tricky though and takes some practice. You can land it off some interesting things, including both Tyrant Raves.
  2. You can 41236D autogaurd to burst bait. :D Anybody mind posting up more B&B's? The 6C loop seems pretty character specific. Also could people post a B&B that starts staffless? Also any combos that start from the 6A overhead? I thought I saw 2B 2C link after it. Thanks. Hopefully will get to play it again soon so I can confirm some stuff for myself.
  3. I DRINK MAD BEERZ AND OWN THE JAPANESE BITCHES MONEY MONEY MONEY HAHAHAHAH I LOVE DIX wheee READ my blog AN D SUCK ON IT BITCHES IM IN THIS SHIT AND YOU AINT OYU SUCK AHAHAHAHA
  4. Thanks! I will work on that stuff. Very informative.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgXFjRQn2NI Kind of old but I lol'ed at the "tags". reipu
  6. Anybody have vids for this? I am dying to see P.C's return.
  7. VR yes, Fafnir can be legit throw bait. It's been around for a while. Catches backdashes and jump attempts as well for clean hits on certain characters. It works occasionally but definitely not something you want to whore. See here for Fafnir uses. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYh8z1aPNwM
  8. Your scrub mentality is amusing... Perhaps you should read Sirlin as stated before.
  9. Not learning combos is just silly... Don't kid yourself, you're just lazy and/or your execution sucks.
  10. I would agree that getting the J.S oki timing is very important. First of all, it is reversal safe if you time it correctly. Once you have established J.S > 2k or WT, you can get many more options from there. 6P still works as throw / mash bait. Air dash j. S > j.HS becomes more viable if they are afraid to DP and also works for throw bait. Landing lows and landing WT become more viable as well. As far as abare goes, I think Sol's is a little underestimated once you get good at it. There are plenty of tensionless combos that do tons of damage, besides you only need 25% to do the other ones any way. 50% should only be spent on a BR RC combo if you REALLY need it, otherwise it is not as efficient as just a KD and 2 GF FRC's in most cases. The fact that almost ANY 5K can lead to 30%+ and a knockdown; 2D CH is obviously ridiculous damage and j.HS CH's can also lead to good damage. All of this helps his abare lots. Hit confirming 5HS CH like Champion said is also very important. (P.S. Always hit confirm 5HS to 214 P/S, I know the IAD combo is cool but GV combo actually does more damage and works on crouching and short characters from any distance.) To continue on Champions point of comboing with GV, you have to remember how wide some characters' hit boxes are when they are crouching. You can get easy grand viper's on these people. IE After a blocked Greed Sever, Ky is in a crouching state and is as wide as like 1/2 the screen. 5S 5HS > GV that shit.
  11. Sol is way more about abare than his relatively weak mixup game. Whore J.HS, 5K, 2D, etc. BB is NOT a good wild throw set up...
  12. LOL apparently I said I'd do a write up... I just need to make sure I don't lose to JWong at SBIII I play him first round...
  13. Hey Veteru (or anyone for that matter) can you post up the combos from Air Throw > 5H > IAD link j.p > whatever? Jaison and Kyle told me you did 'em on lightweights but I haven't had my own game to practice on in over a month so any help would be nice. Also, any tips on inputting sj.IAD/ normal j. IAD to a 236 motion. (Sidewinder in this case) I try 196236+H but I always seem to get a VV to come out instead. Thanks.
  14. I love your guys' shit.
  15. Like Veteru said, chip damage. Also fancy combos.
  16. Z motion + always try to end on 3.... Yup.
  17. If you see your J.HS get IB'ed or SB'ed and you're pretty sure you're going to get thrown do a BR frc and you should be safe. Sol's oki is all about forcing the mind game. A well timed jump in leads to TONS of options, and much like game plan it's all about making them fear.
  18. Lol. Yes Sol is a solid character. Unfortunately the tiers in this game aren't based on overall strengths but rather on matchup strengths.
  19. Robo gets the same amount of tension from IB'ing as SB'ing so. Overall the risk reward doesn't sound that great on SB'ing it. Hideki pretty much said it all already otherwise.
  20. Still working on my stick execution and I suck on camera hardcore. Basically playing "when it counts" = scrub me. The yelling for this shit was hilarious and more hype than most tournament matches.
  21. Hahahaha... I saw vids of you, don't get us started.
  22. ... onto the bosom of heaven. TY Kyle.
  23. Not too bad over all. 1 Thing I don't like is the "one-side" syndrome. Almost EVERY combo was done in the right corner and I found myself staring at just 1 part of the screen for 95% of the whole vid. Mix it up. Do midscreen combos and use the other corner too just to keep it fresh. >.>
  24. It's Sol's best landing low. Nuff' said.
  25. Song choice? Seemed kind of slow and I guess the vid quality didn't help. Watching seemed more like "eh" instead of upbeat and whatnot. To suit Ino as a sexy slutty rocker or whatever. I dunno, just my personal preference I guess.
