GGs to netplay. I'm getting somewhat better. Disrespectfully mashing seems to work wonders. BGs to me for spreading Hilda's legs wide open against every Gordeau I fight T_T BTW any Gordeaus out there want to give me some MU experience?

[UNIEL] System Mechanics (Updated: April 20th, 2015)
Dark Ranger88 replied to Tari's topic in Under Night In Birth
You can cancel Concentration (5D) into normals and specials instantly without having to wait for Concentration to recover or even letting go of D. Also where can I find more information about this: "Some special moves in this game can 'inherit' the properties of moves that come before them. It is unclear if this is a feature or a leftover from mechanics that are no longer in the game." Because that sounds interesting. -
I'll play you. But Hilda mirrors don't help anyone improve You guys just need to mash 6B more during a laggy Hilda's combos. She'll drop something, you'll forward tech and can pressure her to death from there.
-
I did one of these with Makoto and got bopped. Might as well do one with Hilda too. I'd be down for this.
-
This is probably obvious, but the B version of Condense Gloom (214X) has more recovery than the A version. So if you plan on not getting punished for throwing one out in neutral, it's better to do the A version. I also tested TK Condense Gloom and they seem to have about the same recoveries as their grounded counterparts. Also I did this in training mode with a dummy, so I don't have any hard numbers as to how many frames of recovery the moves have.

GGs to Eshi? (I think that's who I played lol.) and the PJS lobby. :How to play Hilda online: 1. Be winning 2. Drop 3C 3. Lose

Thanks man. GGs to you too. You can get in, trust me. And once you do, I get rekt lol

Does anyone else hate Kuuga? Or is it just me? Grounded Kuuga seems to beat everything I do at match start except for jump. And blocking air or ground Kuuga let's her dash in for free. And at midrange, if you guess she's going to Kuuga and try to jump it, she can run behind you with her fast dash. But the worst of all is aerial super Kuuga in neutral. This beats just about everything you can do and baits the hell out of your anti air 3B. The only way I assume we can beat this move is with a pre-emptive 3C/5C.

GGs to the long ass set with Rubedoe I just had. If you're on here that is

The UNIEL SAME CHARACTER 3on3 Tournament [August 17th @ 5PM PST]
Dark Ranger88 replied to brett_'s topic in UNI Online Play
Something came up and I won't be at my console for the start of the tournament. Don't know when I'll get back home so I don't know if I can play today, assuming I am needed for the Hilda team. -
GGs to OMG ducky's room as well

[UNIEL] Under Night In-Birth Q&A Thread
Dark Ranger88 replied to Tigre's topic in Under Night In Birth
Woah I've been mashing X or Circle at the end of matches. It exits the dialogue quickly, but is it the same think that you guys are talking about? I haven't gotten any hatemail and I literally mash X after every match win or lose. I have noticed that with some people it will exit the game immediately after the final round ends and display a little message whenever it gets back to the lobby screen. That doesn't happen when I mash X does it? -
If you're fighting another Hilda who likes to do j.236A to fire over your ground Skewers, you can do j.236B to counter. If you both jump into the air and attack at the same time, your opponent's Skewer will whiff and your j.236B will hit them in the face on the way down. It makes them look pretty stupid too

Yeah I'd be down to help once I get an account created.

[CP1.1] Makoto Nanaya's Gameplay Discussion - When's 2.0?
Dark Ranger88 replied to HiagoX's topic in Makoto Nanaya
Since Parry is a strike property move now, I wonder if we will see it in combos? Some corner stuff like: 2D lvl3 > 214D~D, or 2C > 214D??? It would be interesting if they make it comboable without meter or something. -
MAKOTO BUFFS??? SQUIRELL TAIL IS BACK??? TOP CHARACTERS GETTING NERFED??? I CAN GCOD PEOPLE'S PROJECTILES THEN PUNCH THEM IN THE FACE??? Aww hell yeah, this is gonna be fun. It's about damn time my girl got some buffs. .....but seriously the Loketest thread said that j.2C can cancel into other moves. And I think that's nice.
-
For charged C combo I've been doing 5[C] > 22A > 2CC > 623A > 66 > 3CC > B Lynchpin = 2749 or 5[C] > 22A > 623A > 3B > j.[C] > 3CC > B Lynchpin = 2831
-
I've been using Dash C against people who like to backwards tech and jump your midscreen orb oki, since dash into 2B/5B/2C was too slow. It completely destroys them (mainly because it's air unblockable) until they start teching and blocking like a smart player, but then you just make them eat mixup.

The UNIEL SAME CHARACTER 3on3 Tournament [August 17th @ 5PM PST]
Dark Ranger88 replied to brett_'s topic in UNI Online Play
Yo I'm totally up for this if I make the team. I'll try to continue levelling up as much as I can before the tourney. A team of haughty M.I.L.F.S., how can I resist? -
[CP1.1] Makoto Nanaya's Gameplay Discussion - When's 2.0?
Dark Ranger88 replied to HiagoX's topic in Makoto Nanaya
You bring up a good point about the dash cancel being there to prevent ambiguity. That very well could be it. I wonder what option selects the new parry input will lend itself to, if any. I hope we get more changes than just this though. Squirrel tail command grab and Acorn Rain DD (Think Chie's awakening super) are still technically options at this point -
GGs to randoms. And thanks to GotSarged for all those Hilda mirrors. I learned a lot. Hilda mirrors are.......silly to say the least lol. ("When's this rat bastard gonna skewer? Will his skewer beat mine?")

[CP1.1] Makoto Nanaya's Gameplay Discussion - When's 2.0?
Dark Ranger88 replied to HiagoX's topic in Makoto Nanaya
I don't think they will let us special cancel into parry, even on blocked moves. Obviously there's the parry loop that they probably want to avoid putting in the game again, but theoretically it could give Makoto some infinite/inescapable blockstrings since parry is currently dash cancellable (something like 2A > 2B > 5B > 214D > 66 > 2A etc.). Although I didn't play in CS1, so I don't know if parry was used in pressure at all. Although I'm all for them giving us a free dash cancel on all of our moves I'll be sure to abuse the hell out of it if they do put it in. An infinite amount of frametraps mixed in with a few squirrel tail command grabs would be really nice Arcsys -
Ummm....so....that Gordeau matchup. Once he gets a knockdown it's just guess wrong and die, right? Nothing we do at match start is guaranteed because he can hit us out of anything that isn't "hold block." This makes it really easy for him to get momentum early. And since we have no reversal to speak of we pretty much have to mash buttons or be eaten alive by command throws that give him tons of GRD...which allows him to chain shift and combo after said command throws. Do I have that about right? Against a good Gord, I can't seem to do anything except try to block his overheads and hope he doesn't like to use the command throws. Is it humanly possible to react to raw command throw oki with a jump? Getting dominated in neutral feels bad man. It's like I'm playing Makoto.
