Well try to tell us what exactly you are having problems with when you fight people. Do you lose in neutral every time? Are you not able to block well and get opened up by throws/overheads? Can you pin an opponent down, but just can't seem to successfully mix them up or get any hits? Do people always jump and you don't know how to answer? Etc. Etc. Etc. This could be a fundamentals or thought process problem, rather than needing to switch characters.

Why fully charged j.C? Isn't that negative if they block it? Also how does the standard 214A/B > dash > jump > j.[C]/Whiff 2A work against that silly backwards tech everyone loves to do. I've been messing around and it seems the only way I can keep up with the backwards roll is to use 214B~6B > Dash > Assault jump > j.C. Otherwise they get to roll backwards and jump away for free because Hilda's run is painfully slow. Also what are you guys using for people who use Assault Jump in their pressure? I've had 3B work against some of the slower jump ins, but I tried 3Bing a Chaos player during a set and got CH every time. It also might be just one of his normals instead of an Assault into aerial though; I don't know what moves the cast has yet lol.

I ran into this problem when BB became a PS3 exclusive and I had to switch consoles. I can't really put an exact timetable on it, but eventually your thumb will get a callus on it, which will allow you to play pretty much indefinitely without any pain. I'd give it a few weeks to a month or maybe more before it fully develops though. However, developing a blister where you want to get a callus is a bad thing, because opening the blister could cause the old skin to rip off. Then you'll have to start over, building a callus with the newly exposed skin. And then there's simply the pain factor. Playing with a blister probably hurts like a mother, and you shouldn't make yourself suffer when there's no need to. You should simply stop playing whenever your thumb starts to hurt and you feel pain. I know FGs can be really addicting, but you just have to put them down until your thumbs can handle it long term. I would take a break for a few hours whenever I started to get mild pain, and I never got a blister on my D-pad thumb. As for your current situation though (already having a blister), I think you should let that thing heal before seriously playing long sessions. Or you could use the tip of your thumb until the middle heals. Or get a fight stick Good luck.

If you have 100 meter and someone (like Linne) runs up under your j.236A, you can whiff cancel it into j.41236C to put them into pressure/mixup.

I know we don't have specific frame data yet. But do we have any idea of what moves Hilda has that are plus on block? Condense Gloom (the oki sphere) obviously is. And the C supers too. I keep seeing you guys say to do 623A in pressure (Looks like Bang's double palm thrust), could that have plus frames? Right now I'm just doing mixup/frametrap and ending pressure if they block correctly.

It could be a slow overhead or low for all I know. -

Huh? That one screenshot had Celica doing what looked like a 2A. That much proves that she won't be a background character, but I don't think Zaeris was being serious in the first place. As long she gets a magical thigh crushing/smothering distortion, I'll be happy. But seriously, If I had to speculate...I'd say there could be two possible button configurations for Celica/Minerva. 1.) Celica will be the A, B, and C normals. Minerva will be activated with the drive button. 2.) Celica will be the A and B normals with Minerva being the C normals. And Celica will have her own specific drive having to do with healing or seither absorption. Honestly I'd rather see option 2, since we already have two characters who use Attacks = A,B,C & Puppet = D. -

Even on Kokonoe? I remember getting that to work on most people, but It was hella inconsistent against her so I stopped using that route. Also, we should kind of be thankful that we don't need rapid cancel to combo at all. We get decent damage (at least 3k+) off of a high/low/or throw anywhere on screen thanks to 2D lvl 2. It'd be kinda nice to have an air DD though, since it's hard/impossible to end a midscreen combo or air confirm into PF to add damage. -
One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone complains with stuff like, "That character just puts me in the corner and it's impossible to get out."........... That is what, literally, EVERY character in this game does because the corner makes people's pressure and oki 10x better lol. How can you complain about that for any certain character, especially Makoto (Have you ever been cornered by a Ragna lol?).

2A > 2A > 2A > 2B can be airtight if you don't stagger it, and the 2B at the end can catch people mashing DP/upbacking. But if people are waiting specifically for 5CC then DPing, you can just do 5B > 5C > 5CC > Block and it will beat any DP/Reversal except for command grabs. Part of baiting DPs is knowing how your opponent is DPing (are they waiting for a specific move like 5CC?; or are they repeatedly doing the DP's input in hopes that it will activate during a gap in your pressure?) -

Yeah looks like your friend is full of shit lying so that he can beat you. Tell him the command to tech throws (B+C), then only throw him until he finds a way to stop it. Although this could just backfire and make it so that you have no one to play against IRL lol. I advise taking turns playing against random people online if there is any animosity building up between you two. I did that with a friend during college. It's a nice way to learn the game cooperatively instead of losing to/beating the same person over and over and feeling bad about it. -

: Alright guys, found something out about the Izayoi matchup. If she goes Gain Art and tries to use Sonic Sabre > Teleport to get in, you can parry the Sonic Sabre and when she teleports she'll get hit by the parry catch. And Space Counter will still hit her even though she's behind you.
