  1. Updated the OP. If you wanna help spread the word, please reblog this post (Tumblr) or retweet this status (Twitter). If you want to link the sprites somewhere else, please link to the thread, not the files. As far as ripping progress go, I'm at a standstill due to what seems to be a format change in most of the non-character files. I'm waiting to hear back from Tunglashor on that. In the meantime I'm gonna rest my tired hands, so don't expect any rips today. I wanna thank everyone for their kind words and appreciation, and I'm really happy to see how much everyone's enjoying the sprites.

  3. 'Sup Brit. If you mean their large artwork, in the case of Astral Heats they were stored in different directories. That may be the case here. Everything in the folders is everything in the files that I've ripped so far. If it's not there, I haven't been able to rip it yet.
  4. ... Anyway, all the palettes are posted. They're in the OP. I didn't do the glasses 'cuz fuck glasses (also my fingers hurt from all the clicking). More to come soon? Who knows!
  5. I've already got a system going, so for consistency's sake I'll do them anyway.
  6. Persona palettes will go here. Aigis Akihiko Chie Elizabeth Kanji Kuma Labrys Mitsuru Naoto Shadow Labrys Yosuke Yu Yukiko
  7. Some warning would be nice next time so I don't waste time doing what's already done.
  8. Heard you guys like palettes. Aigis Akihiko Chie Elizabeth Kanji Kuma Labrys Mitsuru Naoto Shadow Labrys Yosuke Yu Yukiko
  9. As soon as I get them and can properly rip them. A few files have changed format since BlazBlue so I'll need some help getting my tools to cooperate.
  10. Note: MediaFire has pulled the majority of these files from their servers. Please use http://kurushii.tv/Circuitous/ in the meantime. Complete Pack Download - Individual Character Packs - - SPOILER ALERT - Special Thanks: Tunglashor, Cirno. You guys are awesome. Notes: All Persona sprites use the _01 palettes. The subfolders inside Effects use the indicated sub-palettes. (_00 uses xxyy_00.act, for example) Although there are 24 palette sets, only the first 16 do anything. The rest are included for the sake of completeness. Not all effects are included, just the ones I could actually find files for. Some may still be stashed in generic files. Hopefully there's enough in here to satisfy everyone, though. If you think you're missing an effect, check the Extras folder. "Hey, where's [thing that's missing]?!" Unfortunately, not everything on the P4 disc is in the same format as the BB stuff. This means there are some files I can't open, and some that I can open but that just turn out gibberish. Unfortunately I don't know enough about these files to fix that. If you think you do, take a look at these files. If you can figure 'em out, get back to me. Until then this rip is as complete as it's gonna get. What about the audio? I don't have the tools to convert the audio into a usable format, so I'm not going to bother with them. A lot of it's ripped already, though, so it shouldn't be too big of a deal. Palettes: Aigis - Athena Akihiko - Caesar Chie - Tomoe Elizabeth - Thanatos Kanji - Take-Mikazuchi Kuma - Kintouki-Douji Labrys - Ariadne Mitsuru - Artemesia Naoto - Sukuna-Hikona Shadow Labrys - Asterios Yosuke - Jiraiya Yu - Izanagi Yukiko - Konohana Sakuya Spread the Word: Help more people find these sprites! Retweet and reblog! If you want to share them on another site, please link to this post instead of the actual files. Thanks! Thanks for reading, and enjoy the sprites.
  11. ^ Leaving that post because it's good. The rest were bad. Let's all move on now.
  12. I'll be there all day, but we probably won't really get started until about 3pm. We don't really have a schedule, we're just binging on anime.
  13. BlazBlue players in Cincinnati? How about that! We're doing a little event next weekend (August 4th), the Buckeye Airdasher Cup. Not a big event, but we'll be playing BlazBlue (and other anime games as well). It's at Arcade Legacy in the Cincinnati Mall ( www.arcadelegacyohio.com ), entry is $10. You can also drop by on Thursday nights for Fight Night, only $5 to get in and there are a few BB players there. Hope to see you there.
  14. Noted, thanks for the heads up.
  15. HDMI on my PS3 is burned out, if component is okay I can probably bring it along. I should be able to bring a copy of P4U though, and a PS2 with AC+ (DI0 has my copy of AC ). Also pretty sure PopeTemmy is bringing a CRT.
  16. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?30-California-Love-The-SoCali-Thread Prolly get better results here.
  17. Is this a troll account? I can't figure you out, and I'm getting pretty tired of the threads you keep making. Play games you enjoy often enough and eventually you'll get better at them. If you don't, who gives a shit? At the end of the day it's just a game. I play GG maybe two hours a week max, unless I'm at a gathering or tourney. I'm not good, but I'm better than I was a year ago. I routinely play people that are better than me, as well, some of whom can beat me almost without effort. But they're playing a game they enjoy, same as I am, and if nothing else I can say I had fun with people I consider friends. I dunno, I feel like a lot of your problems will go away if you just learn to lighten up.
  18. He clearly meant to type Blazblue or BB in one of those instances. Use your head for a second.
  19. Except that changing games always has this problem. GG and BB share some similarities, but for the most part the characters are as different between the two as between, say, BB and KOF. You're going to be learning a new character no matter how you play. Even with the "obvious" similarities -- Ragna/Sol, Potemkin/Tager -- you're dealing with characters who actually play nothing alike. It's also worth noting that before BB, no game had missions or tutorials in the game to teach you how to play, and an entire generation of gamers got along just fine. There's information out there, including a pretty good beginner tutorial that was featured right here on DL. KOF > GG > BB. Tier whoring is useless if you're not at a level to compete. (Except maybe Potemkin. He's good even if you're bad.) You won't get good playing the CPU, because most of what you learn will only apply to them. You need to play other people, that's all there is to it.
  20. So, who wants to go in hard on P4U? I wanna get a list going and see what kind of character representation we might have. Personally I'm looking at Kanji, Yosuke, and Kuma in that order. If everyone that's expressed interest in the game so far actually picks it up, we might even be able to get the full roster represented. That'd be pretty amazing.
  21. Glad we could get that GG tourney going. Not a lot of entrants but some great matches. Since a lot of people ended up showing interest, it looks like the Buckeye Airdasher Cup is back on. Might not be as big as we'd dreamed, but we do have some people coming in from out of town, and should have some decent competition for GG and BB. It'll be on Saturday, August 4th, so come on down if you can make it.
  22. The Ragna-only Black Beast barely lasts an hour. Hakumen puts him out of his misery pretty quickly. The Black Beast also wasn't pausing for a year to absorb Ragna, Ragna was fighting it from the inside. Ragna as Bloodedge loses his arm because that's the only part Nu needs to form the Black Beast. Nu's basically the catalyst that makes it as strong and durable as it is - without Nu the Black Beast barely functions.
  23. That was what I kept posting about, yes. I probably should've made it more clear that it would be a tournament. We'll have at least one setup not counting what's already available at AL. If you wanna bring another that's great. We'll be running it on Sunday (along with whatever anime tournaments we can get people interested in). Gonna shoot for 5pm.
  24. Amadeous is chipping in a $50 pot bonus to GG.
