  1. Who's gonna be at RP3? When would be the best day to run GG/BB/etc.?
  2. They're probably gibberish/copied text just to fill out the crest and look cool.
  3. There's no anime on the schedule (unless you count Skullgirls), but that doesn't mean we can't get some setups going. So if you can make it out and want to get GG/BB/AH3/Whatever going, just say the word. Big ol' Edit: We can run all the anime we want on Friday or Sunday, and as mentioned in the OP, $10 gets you in for all three days. So if you can make it out for more than one day, post up so we can figure out when the best time to run it would be.
  4. (Late getting this up on DL because I don't pay enough attention. XCOPYd from SRK.) So not all of us can afford to or have the time to get out Las Vegas for EVO this year (especially those on the East coast). Instead of sitting at home watching the stream on your computer, I offer this, our third annual tournament and EVO stream viewing event (on a 135" HD screen no less!). EVO live stream is always very hype and a nice way to relax between matches. Most of you already know this, but for those who haven't been out to AL yet, your admission to any tournament at Arcade Legacy includes FREE PLAY on all of the 60+ arcade games and pinballs in the building! For this tournament, I am offering you all the option to come Friday, Saturday and Sunday all for just the normal one day admission price! Main tournaments will only be run on Saturday, but it will cost you no extra to come play all weekend long. $10 covers your entry for all three days. If enough people show up on either Friday or Sunday, we could definitely run some more smaller tournaments. RESULTS - link posted after the event When: July 7th, 2012 Doors open at 11am. Registration closes 10 minutes before each game is scheduled to start. The arcade closes when we are done, which should be by 1am Where: Arcade Legacy 662 Cincinnati Mills Dr. Cincinnati, OH 45240 513-874-8766 www.arcadelegacyohio.com for directions and any other info you need GAMES: Tournament pot split is 70/20/10 except for the CPS-2 Gauntlet. 5. It'd probably be easier to cut games than make it a two-day event. Maybe next year, when we have more time to prepare.
  6. I'm guessing it's another spirit like Terumi, this time in a "female" body. Also? Balls-out retarded.
  7. You're never too inexperienced to ask for help. If you want to learn Lambda, posting for help in her board should be your second course of action. (The first is to read the stickied threads, of course.) That said, your problem does seem to be more of a general gameplay issue. One I don't think I can really help with, so I'll just leave it at that.
  8. It's only soft-deleted, when I'm in a better mood I'll pick through and delete what retardation I can. I just couldn't let it keep going like it was.
  9. Welcome to a first loketest. This is how it works. Justice players gotta calm down. She may end up low tier but at least she'll be playable, right? Give it time.
  10. Nah I'd agree with that. LK likes to remind us that Litchi sucks at a rate reminiscent of CS1 Rachel players. Maybe it's a running gag at this point and I'm just a grumpy old man. Okay I'm definitely a grumpy old man, but the running gag thing is still up in the air.
  11. It'd be a lot more tolerable if they didn't. If your character's bad and you play other characters, instead of complaining, you could play the other characters. If your character's bad and you're a good player, you should be able to overcome the weakness. Omni and LK both do well and they both still cry as much as players with actual low tier characters. It's just sort of weird.
  12. Then why do you guys spend so much time whining? idgi
  13. 7PK is fine. I don't think you can 1f jump backwards*, so it doesn't matter which up you put in. * I might be wrong on this, but I don't remember ever doing it, just had someone test it and neither could they. Edit: Thanks for the confirm 4r5.
  14. Faultess Defense immediately as you jump. It cancels your startup and makes you airborne after the first frame. If you don't see a dust cloud when you jump, you'll know you did it right.
  15. I'm going to pretend that it's because getting into his head exposes you to so much unfiltered stupidity that you actually perform worse.
  16. You guys let this retard get 5th? God fucking damn.
  17. More likely a hacked rom/arcade release, similar to those EX hack videos (but changing the palettes instead of the scripts).
  18. Might have already been taken down, it's about five days old.
  19. Seriously I wish I'd known that was a rule before, this would've been over with forever ago.
  20. Can we get clarification on Potemkin? Initially the change was j.S causing ground bounce on any air hit (currently bounces on CH, whether aired or grounded), so what does it actually do now? The change as explained here doesn't even make sense (knocks down unless it knocks down).
  21. This isn't the thread to discuss lag or talk shit about people. Next person to forget that can take a vacation. Might take j1n's advice on a pure changelog thread here soon. For now let's try and focus.
  22. How west are we talking here?
  23. j.S CH always ground bounced, but now it seems it doesn't need to be a counterhit to do so. If Slide Head has a normal knockdown, then it's still useful at full screen to knock the opponent down and then Hammerfall to bridge the gap because of how slow the ground bounce is. For combos, though, it seems we'll have to FRC.
  24. I don't want to clutter up the thread while new info is being posted. The easier it is to find the info, the better. Compromise: if you're want to discuss character changes at length, take it to the character board. Clarification and short discussion here should be fine. If it gets out of hand we'll take it from there. (In other words, carry on.)
