  1. Natuarally. Thanks though.

  3. I shouldn't even be worried about it not coming out on Xbox, they may delay the EU release again. That was a horrible wait I experienced.
  4. Oh sorry, it is 6A. I'm typing too fast so I'm not thinking. I know her appropiate AA, I only use a 5A against a Hazama. Platinum has her HUGE Fan when she uses her powered up version of magical frying pan. Hakumen somehow is able to get through it with that kick of his, I think it's j.5B. But his j.2c can also do it too.
  5. This is mainly with Blazblue just let you know. So I've played Blazblue for about a year now and I know exactly what everything is like a mixup, cross up, anti-air, matchups, high damage combos and etc. I can execture most of those normally now but I still have a problem with Anti-air's. Because I use Lambda and she has no reversal options, blocking is a real problem. When an enemy approaches, I use to block and hope I block the mixup correctly. I realised only recently that I was missing out on what I could actually do to prevent an enemy dashing in through the air by using things like 5A or 2C. It's only been a week now and it seems to be really useful. It's like it has invulnerablility to air attacks, but now here is the problem. I may be OVER using it. I see an enemy coming in through the air and I use 5A, but I get outsmarted by a double jump or something. And even sometimes, when I use an anti-air and the enemy is in range, it still get stopped. So far that has only happened to me by Platinum and Hakumen. So, any tips? Is an Anti-Air not completely invincible? Thanks. (I really hope this is in the right section.)
  6. I know how you feel. I played Abyss mode for some time and almost always lost 90% health against Hakumen because he's too strong. 1. The CPU can read your inputs, it's gonna be harder than it should be. 2. Find something that the CPU is too stupid to adapt to. (I play Lambda, and after the enemy is knocked down, I just use Sickle Storm and the CPU ALMOST NEVER BLOCKS IT. Repeat. If they do block it, just hit them with a bunch of lows and they can't take the obvious mixup.) I don't really use Hazama, but the best option is to keep away and only approach when you know you have hit Hakumen, a counter hit should make that easy. But honestly, you'll have to keep trying until you find a pattern in the CPU, it can be obvious sometimes. I play around with Jin sometimes and I noticed something with Hakumen on hell difficulty. I just do the DP at the start of the round and Hakumen dashes into it and gets hit. I'll just play it a little again right now and see how I do against him, but the best option is to "run run run". And don't try and counter Hakumen with lows, he spams his overhead which is pretty much invulnerable to lows.
  7. "Jubei: The sadness and pain of losing a loved one... Jin... I pray that you accomplish what I failed to do..." So... Kokonoe or Nine?
  8. Looks like somebody has a shadow side... PERSONA But yeah, I can agree with you there. I'm just not prepared to get the PS3 yet. P4C will come out later though, so we'll see then.
  9. "You could always buy a PS3. The console shouldn't be too expensive at the moment." Yeah, but I was pretty stupid to buy an Xbox360. Literally only bought it a couple months ago. Only reason I could still be decent on BBCSEX is because I had BBCT and then BBCS2 on PSP for about a year and a half. Persona was quite similar to Blazblue so that was easy to adapt to. What I'm trying to say is, I'm going to wait a little longer until I get a PS3.
  10. Uh... this. I'm just happy as long as they release it on Xbox 360. Don't want to be in a situation where I can't play BBCP and P4C. :pissed:
  11. We're going to need a whole lot, and I don't see it being reached, but I'm not going to leave it be. I signed it. There you go. But... I know that XBL. SwordOfMana..... you own my Lambda every time on XBL.
  12. To be honest, as much as I want Kokonoe playable more than Saya, it would be interesting to see Saya's skills. She took over Takamagahara (I'm too lazy to check the spelling...) and she rules over the NOL. But then again, I would want to see cheap magic all over the screen while trolling as Kokonoe.
  13. Have Noel turn into Saya. Have Tager become Golden like in his Gag Reel. Or just replace him with Kokonoe.
  14. Well... if Elizabeth can be made in P4A, I'm sure they can make Saya. Although I still doubt her being playable in this game. There is still another game after this, she'll probably be in that.
  15. Lol, I've subscribed to that guy for a long time, and I was kind of surprised he was the only one to still have the videos up. So I posted it in the Liz P4C video section. I was sure he'd get a copyright strike until the guy above me told him to keep them as unlisted. Anyway: So I'm right to think that they'll release it on a whole new disc?
  16. Sorry, I know what you mean so I did a super long post. So have you played Marvel? Cheap as ever, they can easily counter your teleports on Very Hard difficulty. Even the fastest teleports in the game. Have you ever played Persona 4 Arena? Kanji's grab is the most annoying thing in the game. Perioid. Anyway. I played CS2 for a year on PSP until I moved onto Extend on Xbox for high level play. CPU's in most fighting games will counter your moves and etc. So, I'll avoid what's already been said. Tager on Hell Mode: Backdash, Super. Ragna on Hell Mode: DP to EVERYTHING. Mu-12 on Hell Mode: Steins Gunner, Another One, Jump in Mid-air and place more Steins Gunners. TAGER: So to beat Tager, you'll have to try someone like Lambda-11. If you really need to use a rushdown character like Ragna, your going to have to use stuff like Dead Spike. If he can Sledge through it, your dead and you may have to learn to hit with projectiles a little out of the hitbox where his Sledge can catch you. Have you ever tried running to tager and then backdashing? If you use someone like Lambda-11, don't worry. Just go in the air and spam j.2d(The swords that go downwards while your in mid-air.). He'll spam sledge and catch you. HERE'S THE REAL PART. Have you ever done with Lambda, 6DD(The swords that attack people in the air forwards.) > Jump and Backdash > j.2DD? It can be hard to do, but you can catch Tager after he's done Sledge. And if you do use Lambda, always use 6DD because it can almost always hit him, and it's jump cancellable? Jump cancelled? You can jump cancel it. The CPU sucks at blocking, so for example, 3C (that move that knocks the opponent down) into Sickle Storm. The CPU doesn't block, and if he does, keep on hitting with a bunch of lows and he'll lose to the mixup. If you can hit Tager for long enough to be able to use sickle storm again, you win. Oh yeah, he'll always use Gadget Finger when your down, then use it again like he's trolling you. So if you are caught by Gadget finger, just do a crouching light punch, even mash it because it beats the second gadget finger. But, in certain games he'll throw after one gadget thinger instead. In that case, jump and block, that's all. WATCH OUT FOR THE SPARK BOLT! WATCH THE METER! Your better of pressing light punch and then blocking. RAGNA: Nobody can beat him, he's way too cheap. It's DP for everything. Only zoners stand a chance, and Ragna can still get in easily. Have you ever tried doing those fast light punches when your close to Ragna on hell difficulty, it's an auto-DP. He even does a DP in the middle of blockstrings. I'm in a hurry, so I'll edit this section later if I can find more advice. Gonna get my PSP back out lol. Mu-12: When she uses her steins, if she's on the ground, she will go in the air to place more. Lambda can counter that EVERY TIME with 6DD, because the CPU can't change it's style of play. If you play a character like Ragna, only a DP will work, because she will use Divine Wrath of The Heavens when you run in with an attack that's not invulnerable. I'll also edit this later too. I'm gonna play some CS2 on PSP now to see what I can find out about more characters or just general tactics. But you get in now right?
  17. If only I could do more than say 'Thank you.' This was really helpful, it actually made me realise that there are things I can't learn just by watching pro Lambda players (Yoshiki ) and looking at the combo thread. Really, thanks a lot.
  18. Probably is, until your Persona breaks. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. With 6 cards, it's gonna hurt when the Persona is broken.... EXCEPT I'M NOT GOING TO BREAK IT.
  19. Thanks a lot. In that one post, I kind of found out a bunch of things that I didn't know about. "236A is pretty unsafe normally so you probably shouldn't use it that much." I've been using it a LOT, nobody has actually punished it yet. I either throw them, or bait the throw reject miss, or even backdash and evade them trying to reject your throw at all. Does that make sense? I guess I'll try out those stuff you told me about.
  20. 1st: Yes I mean 4B, sorry. 2nd: I meant 3C > 236A or 5C > 236A when I go in for a throw. So there's really nothing I can do?
  21. Hmm... I'm tied between Yukiko and Naoto, I tried them out yesterday and my results are... I find Naoto to be my type. 1. I actually do use her trap Oki, and I can easily open the opponent up and then land a combo into the oki again. 2. I can play rushdown easily with her. 3. Her guys shoot in a similar direction as Lambda's swords/drive. 4. Alreadyd did the SMP I'm still trying Yukiko, I might change to her eventually, considering she has an even greater oki, a gdlk mixup, she zones better(for turtling situations) and her combos are harder to peform = greater damage, which is what I actually liked about Lambda. For now, I'm sticking with Naoto until I become use to the game (baiting a DP etc.), but I'm sure I'll convert to Yukiko later on, I saw some high level play and... well... Thanks for all the help though guys. MUDOON
  22. Hey guys. I've played Blazblue since CT, but now I wanna try Persona 4 Arena (mainly because I'm into the Persona games). Actually, I have already tried it, but now I want to play it seriously. Since CT, I've mained Nu and Lambda, but that was because of their ability to also play rushdown and zone at the same time, even if they were disadvantaged at rushdown. I like Lambda especially, because she actually has an Oki. In Persona, I understand that Chie and Yu are addicted to Oki, but I just won't play them, too much rushdown and mixup. So, Oki with both rushdown and zoning. Is there a certain character like that in Persona? I was thinking Liz, but I want everybody else's opinions first. Thank you.
  23. "I look for videos of Pro Bang players, and just 100% steal combos + setups." Sounded funny when I read it, but yeah, that's a good idea too. Usually whenever I had a huge streak of losing, I would just stay in training mode for a couple of days. After that, your less tense and you actually might play a little better, sometimes we just need a break. But then, if your losing to people using stylish mode, it could just be the matchup(the character is far better than the one your playing.) At that point, you choose to play to win, or play to have fun. If you play to win, you'll choose top tier characters(and keep on becoming better until your on top), if you you play to have fun, you'll choose your favourite character. If you want to do both, just learn your favourite character REALLY WELL, stay in training mode for hours and hours. I actually did that with Lambda, and also looked at some pro players, and you can be one of the best with a mid to low-tier character. (I'm still not as half as good as most people though.) Edit: But playing for fun can feel nice sometimes. I use Lambda-11, so when I know I can't win, I just run away and spam the taunt button or a move that you'll never hit the opponent with. It IS stupid, but if you know you can't win but you keep taking your opponent seriously, your going to lose. So if your on Player Match, I'd just mess around for the rest of that round instead of mashing buttons harder when your about to lose. You'll be a little more calm for the next match, it should help you.
  24. Really? I haven't actually played GG, so I haven't noticed. I've only played Blazblue, so the system works differently.
  25. According to the Xrd News Thread, the Xrd website description of Sol Badguy said something about, "He may look tough, but he's not a bad guy." Sol BADGUY everyone. Anyway, about the Negative Penalty... does that mean the only effect is reducing their tension to zero. I would still like to see multiplied damage if you run away too much.
