  1. I'm down for some FT10s, as long as they match my time zone. Seems like a good way to improve.
  2. This game is VERY match-ups heavy in a lot of cases. The way I play Carmine against Merkava is nothing like the way I play Carmine against Hyde. You really gotta know when you can press buttons, which just comes from experience.

  6. Orie's dress. I legit can't see what move she's doing because her damn dress is so large. It makes reacting to 6B nigh impossible.
  7. GGs to the guys I played online. How the hell is it possible for the game to not read A+B+C+D? I have it mapped to one button and I'm mashing it, yet no reversal. Too much salt.
  8. Rule of thumb: Always ask yourself ´´Is it laggy?``. If no: 5B-2C-6D. (Link combos) If yes: 5B-5BB-236C-46C-6C. (Chain combos)
  9. Akatsuki has shit matchups with everyone. Even Akatsuki.
  10. GGs Kriegdrache, solid Akatsuki play, even if you claim you played awfully. I can't believe how lucky I got with that IWEX comeback. I was so certain I was done for.
  11. I'd love to see Bloody Chaos playable. A more vicious, melee oriented Chaos, who canonically is stronger than Gordeau? Yes please.
  12. I'm just having issues regarding how to deal with her pressure. She has some cancels that really don't make sense to me. Hopfeully I'll learn as I play.
  13. Which of Eltnum's moves are plus on block or neutral. It seems like half her moves are plus on block whenever I fight her. Her gunshot, her divekick, her 5CC...
  14. Which mode did you use them in? It probably won't count in Training Mode.
  15. Just curious, but what is the highest amount of damage anyone has been able to pull off in this game? Because of the way the scaling works, it's been pretty rare for me to see any combos ever go above more than 4K. The best I've been able to do so far has been a little over 6K with Carmine. 236B-j.[C]-5B-5C-6C-2C-3C-22B-236C-623C-CS-41236D. Requires Vorpal and Veil Off. Corner only. Pretty much impossible to pull off in a match. I'm sure you can do better than that, but everywhere I look, all of the combo routes seem to emphasize oki over damage. (Which is the better option, but I'd still like to see some extremely high damaging combos.) Half the fun of games like these for me is to just go into Training Mode and spent half an hour or so trying to come up with new combos or improve old ones.

  17. Only thing stopping Merkava from being the easiest character in the game to use is that he lacks a meterless DP and his mix-up can be unsafe.
  18. Hyde, Linne, Akatsuki and Gordeau are all pretty damn easy to use. Merkava is too, but he doesn't sound like he plays the way you want your characters to play.
  19. No, you cannot jump cancel (using a regular jump) more than once per combo. The few exceptions are not actual jump cancels, just other moves that happen to put you in the air. (EG: Chain Shift Hyde's Rekka chain to end up in the air.)

  21. I'm fairly certain there isn't. You can just charge it in case your opponent is doing something slow that will eventually put them into range of the burst of energy. (Like Waldstein's 4-8A/B)
  22. There isn't a thread for pet peeves in the UNIEL section of the forum, so people are probably posting here out of habit. Merkava's the greatest. He's just too godlike.

The autocombos in this game are actually useful if you want to apply pressure using using normals you've already used once during your current blockstring, since the autocombos disregard the ´´once per combo`` rule your normals usually have. EG: I'm using Merkava and I want to use 4B-5A-4B for some reason. Normally, this would be impossible without CS. However, since my autocombo goes 5A-4B, I can get 4B-5A-4B by pressing 4B-5A-5A. This doesn't work the other way, though. I can't press 5A-5A-4B to get 5A-4B-4B.

  25. Linne and Hyde are fairly easy, too. Honestly, even Merkava isn't terribly difficult.
