You can Dia through his IK. Sets you up for a free punishment, but that's 100 meter you can make him put down the drain if he gets cocky and tries it on you. So glorious.

I've had my fightstick for about a month now, and I love it, but I'm worried I may not be doing as well with it as I could for reasons outside my control. You see, I play Blazblue Extend exclusively on my Vita. I have a 360 copy too, but I play that and MvC3 (the only fighters I have on the 360) exclusive with one of those fightpad things, and my stick is for PS3, so it wouldn't exactly solve my problem. With the Vita, I obviously can't use my stick, so I have to play with the Vita's pad. It's amazing, don't get me wrong, but is splitting my fighter time between my Vita and my stick hurting me in the long run?

Send them a message telling them to book it or some other literature-related pun for kicks. Maybe "You need to shelf Chizuru" or something. :P

It just makes me feel bad to know that I won with the character a lot of people see as the most powerful one is all. Plus, I'm getting a lot of bad habits from playing her, like that OTG business. I didn't even know that was a thing until you taught me about it. Executions are easy to get down, but knowing all the ins and outs are what win matches. Nothing for it but experience.

It probably is OTG now that I think of it, since 5C puts the enemy in the air and I like to add 236236AB to 5C. Looks like I have a decision to make: Do I stick with Chizuru and relearn the art of the combo, or do I switch fully over to Morgan/anyone else and use a less cream-of-the-crop character? I need to make that decision and develop my skills before I head to ranked, I think.

I've literally never seen anyone other than Crimefighter online(except the first person I played a couple unbearably laggy matches with - was that you, Grimsley-San, or was that also Crimefighter?), and that was when we decided to play together, so I wouldn't know. I didn't even know there were rainbow titles. :c Also, what's an OTG combo? Also also, Morgan's BC>[1]319BC is super tasty.

I mostly use 236236, personally. I've been doing some testing and it looks like I was just remembering it wrong. It gives a good 800 or so damage at the very least at the end of the combos I've messed with in training. I don't really get the point of the 222 super at all. I guess it's for quick pressure or to stay safe.

Couple silly questions. 1) Since this game seems to be much, much more strict with inputs than Arena is, as well as having more than 236, 214, 22, and charges for inputs, would it be a good idea to use this game's training mode to drill out inputs until you've mastered them? I noticed playing yesterday that my inputs on my stick need some brushing up, and it's either Aquapazza or Arena. 2) I haven't played in a while so I need to do that and refresh my memory, but whenever I use one of Chizuru's supers in a combo, it does almost no extra damage and makes me feel like I wasted a bar. In Aquapazza, is it better to use (good ones, anyway) supers in neutral instead of mid-combo for more damage, or am I just not being optimal?

I would suggest playing online more often than against the AI, since the AI is pretty bad about a lot of things in this game and you'll get run through by other players if you only know how to fight the game itself.

I just don't like it when anime goes 3D, but if they do it right and don't mess with the art style or anything, I'm sure they could pull it off.

I'm a huge novice with Yukiko, but here's a question. In pretty much all the Yukiko matches I've seen, the Yukiko will sometimes drop a 1/2/3D after downing the opponent. I know this has to do with unblockable setups since those hit high, but I don't think I've seen 1/2/3D land a hit once. The other player always dodges it or runs past before the Persona drops or something. Why risk a card like that for something with such a low success rate? Or is it just the matches I watched?

That's a good question. One I hope the ASW and Atlus work out so I can see that their answer is.

Playable Shinjiro would make me a happy man. Not that playable Yukari doesn't.

The PS3 should have come with one to charge your PS3 controller with. Not sure if it works for that too, though.

Here's a less tech-heavy question, but I feel like this is the best place to ask: How hard is it to replace/put a new graphic on a stick? There's certainly nothing wrong with the stick I have now, and the graphic is far from bad, but it's a bit... bland. It doesn't feel ... "me" enough, I guess. Is it possible to just find the layout of the top and whip out GIMP/Photoshop and make myself a nice graphic, then take it to a photography/office supply store and have them print it out for me, or is it much more complicated than that?

I didn't know they're the same person, but I also don't follow pro players, and I especially don't follow them for an unreleased game I can't play yet. Is Damosu/Ta really the only noteworthy player showing up in videos?

See, Elochai knows what it's about. :P Here's one that's entirely my fault but really annoys me: When I've used Tager for a while, and I switch to someone else and forget I can move at a pace quicker than continental drift. And nobody ever punishes me online for it for some reason.

Until very recently, I had a really bad habit of using my bursts incredibly early on in the round. I blame Arena, where one or two screwups can spell death for me, but it's a habit that Blazblue will punish you for. To get out of it, I just stopped using my bursts for a while (or at least until the very last possible moment) to teach myself to not rely on them. I doubt that a lot of non-bursters have my reason for not using them, but there you go. EDIT: And on Stylish users, I can beat out of most of them pretty well, but I have serious problems with Stylish Hakumen as Platinum. It's mostly because I'm not good enough with her yet to get past it, but Haku's pokes give me trouble.

I taunt my ragequitters so I can get some. And I suppose maybe once in a while, a drop at the end of a match is believable, but I've literally seen two matches that I ended in GETB actually end.

I have a new one. People that obviously ragequit and then, when called out on it, say that their connection actually dropped. Your connection dropped as I ended the match with GENESIS! EMERALD! TAGER! BUSTER!? Sure, sure.

So as someone that's only heard about CP and not played it, I really want to know: Will Kokonoe probably not be insanely OP now, so I can play her without feeling like I should apologize to whoever I face? She's my favorite character and I was super hyped when she was announced as playable, then super bummed when I heard how powerful she is.

I meant, is it cool if people post videos of their Extend matches too?
