So wait does that mean we're just going to get accidental resets c.c? that could be such a mixed blessing depending on who you are fighting and how they play.. -
K so funny thing happened... Tryed to use Brio and Rhapsody started up. not unusual. Then after the skill flash Nirvanna Brio'd instead.. but i still was hanging in the air from the Rhapsody skill flash. it sucked c_c

that must be the new "Nu was a jerk in CT so she just gets punished by everything in CS Counter Reset Feature" I've been reading about. ... or there there might have be a brief second where she was no longer in combo and she tried to mash out maybe? The announcer is obnoxious and i cant tell if there was a "counter!" in there or not. It happens on the ala~can. maybe that has something to do with it. ..Ala~can doing auto resets would be hilarious c.c -

... that... that was beautiful... i think i cried a little. That extra crumple or whatever we're calling it on CH 5C looks like it really gives great opportunity to be absolutely evil too. on an off note, wow that lambda took forever to pick his/her colors c.c -

inorite c.c he has absolutely 0 options for safe approach. I vote for 22]D[ Teleporting Nirvana directly behind Hakumen :D (for that match up only of course) -
I didn't realize you liked getting pummeled Sol D: Also sometimes those resets just happen on accident online. woo!

As long as people fall for it It's still viable lol. If they catch on after a use or 2 just do something new D: That's the fun thing about obscure little facts like that :D (On that note, lets make this thread viewable by carl players only so that doesn't become commonly known so quickly c.c) -

Dio* not Dora lol. Dora is a Bang player. and Yes in CT Dio is commonly the yellow traffic cone carl. In CS he seems to have taken a shining to the purple and black carl. Jump Canceling basically means the move cancels into a jump (makes sense?) so you just input a jump during the move's animation. In general BB is a speedy speedy game so you're gonna have to work up your twitch. you'll usually want to jump cancel with 9 btw. As far as using the analog goes, yes. Inputs can be a nightmare of muscular memory. I still am prone to occasional Cantabile instead of Cantatas or my personal favorite, jumping when i input 63214]D[. Basically you'll want to, for starters, just practice the motions slow-ish. the game is fairly forgiving about the speed you input at. and once you get a feel for how the motion goes, start working on going faster. once you've got the input down, then try working it into combos and see how it works out. -

Only real issue there is it's Mad Catz which means you've about a 50% chance of if actually working properly. Mad Catz -CAN- make decent products but there is virtually no quality control it seems, so sometimes you just get a faulty one (see my fight pad with the dysfunctional 9 input.) -

Yeah i was watching a few matches and it looks like 4D is just the the bane of all existance here. From what i could tell they just tried to bait it by activating nirvana then IADing j.C but even that didn't look very safe. It seems to me that if Hakumen does not come to Carl now there's virtually no safe way to advance on him, even with puppet coverage.. 4B recovers fast and that stupid new air poke is just as bad. -

SO whats with the new haku-likes-men match up? I mean it was always silly and annoying when people sat around and spam-poked at Ada but now we can't punish him for it at all? I feel like this match up was enough of a pussy-foot-around as it was before c.c... -

I didnt realize it was such a novel and unheard of idea to just tap D for nirvanna's moves c.c been doing it since day 1 -

SO it seems like with the punch cycle in block strings it's now easier to time and set up unblockables as well right? since u can drag your strings out to greater length you have more time to let nirvana's low/overheads activate before u toss in your 2B/3C/6C (j.2C is still not an overhead yes?) right? because to me it seems that having so many unblockable setups was why they made him so fragile / low damage in the first place. Also I've been able to activate every one of ada's specials and supers with just a press of D usually. Doesn't fly for her normals tho. for obvious reasons. -

So is it actually conceivable to keep them in one place for said ~4 seconds? Maybe like cantabile, air combo, end with air throw? that should keep them in one place long enough even if they break the throw right D: (yay shots in the dark) -

I think you canc cycle 2a5a up to 3 times but in the videos i've watchced it pushes away enough that the 4th a in a string whiffs... -
I just saw a little boy in a top hat and boy shorts with a big scary puppet and said " omg he has a top hat and boy shorts! I am playing this character."

represent the bottom! At bare minimum the tier list in BB isn't wildly gapped. He's fun to play with. Also if Alagreto breaks guard primer then presumably doesn't that make it's use out of dash functional for guard break during a block string? someone should test to see if it recovers fast enough to keep sandwich pressure up after using it in such a way. -

Bang is kinda different because his whole persona is corney and over the top. And yes i don't mind the anounced specials that much. They anounced allot of them in CT alread. it's anime-ey. they did it in GG too and it's fine. it's just... vivace isn't really a combat move that i would think you'd want to anounce. it's kind of just a little.. swish forward. Like i said it's the same idea as when they added the tell for bridget's air roll on accent core. The only purpose it serves is to go "hey i'm moving! punish me!" and with vivace's less than immaculate recovery times i dont think it was really important to call even more attention to him activating it. I'd say one of the reason's Anima is so lackluster is because not only is it slow, a breakable grab, and has horrid recovery time, but the loud "Anima!" from carl practically screams "Buffer a throw break here she comes!" So do you -really- want them announcing your other moves with bed recovery time as well? But hey they did it to bridget, why not. On an unrelated note, something just occurred to me: Carl's hop can be canceled into allagreto. So that means his hop has moves where he's active in the air. is it possible then that his forward dash can also be glide-thrown like his IAD's to end with no recovery time? I realize it's totally possible that the window might just be too small to make it practical, but... could you? :o
