Have you tried hosting rooms? I used to just check for people on Ranked or player rooms and it was often either empty, or no one in my area. But making a 1v1 room usually gets people pretty quick. Not always though. Netplay has been a bit slow.

I don't see in what way she's so lacking in neutral that it would land her bottom. Your description sounds like Akatsuki.

If you haven't won a game yet, it has nothing to do with Seth, and everything to do with being new to the game. You could pick Gordeau and people will still walk all over you until you learn the game.

Obligatory october post. Taking back what I said last month. FF still not a worthwhile combo tool, still a great pressure tool. The more I play, the less I think Nanase is a bad char. She's a solid mid, imo. Her normals are reasonably good, pressure is amazing, mixup is alright. It might not have much horizontal range, but her DP is still a DP. IW's range is massive. The sword part is air unblockable, projectile isn't, but reaches the stars. It has the highest raw damage in the game (except Hyde can combo his into more, that cheating bastard :U). 3440, 3780 with Vorpal, which makes CS IW a pretty scary threat. Her damage is midling. She gets consistent 3k's off most starters that aren't 2A/66C/(236x)6B. Most I can get from a solid DP punish is 4500 with meter, 3400 without. That's not bad. Most damage I can squeeze out of her is 6360.

Fun times yesterday, thanks to everyone who tolerated my Nanase shenanigans. I feel I might have overstayed my welcome, didn't realize how late it was until like 3 am. I was uncomfortably tired on the ride home, think I'll leave earlier next time and not make my cat starve until 4am :U If you all enjoyed the croissants etc, I'll bring more next time. Instead of losing weight I'll just make you all fat so I'm thin by comparison :>

I'm alright, I guess? I lack exp in some matchups (Chaos, Seth, Vatista, Hilda), but generally I do ok. I wouldn't beat guys like Shine more than one match in ten, but I can hold my own against most people.

Well, I know what you mean. The cat sometimes decides I've played enough games for today and must now immediately pay attention to him, which can get irritating if I'm in the middle of a close match. It doesn't feel like you really want to play against me, which is worryingly common from what I've seen, so I won't sweat it if you're not in the mood.
