  1. you need to know how to play fighting games prior to playing i-no otherwise you won't get anything
  2. i would say if you are far enough from the opponent and you knocked them down you get that set up. usually off of airthrows and ch hcl
  3. you have to scare testament by staying out of range of his moves. you don't want to stroke under exebeast. you can stroke at close range where hsexebeast doesn't hit but otherwise stroking to get in is not a good idea. there are two safezones, one outside of 6hs distance and the other out of back exebeast

  5. connecting hcl off of 2d only works on like half the cast. i love ky's hitbox....free pdives all day. sol is like: "fuck your pdive you gotta be THIS close for that shit to hit" the only thing i say about the combos is that against the ky i play (steve harrison) im limited to only jk,2k,sstroke, js, and tk dive. i give you all some combos later when i get time.
  6. ky's lockdown is pretty solid. what you do is, you block it. if you have tension there are chances where you might be able to push him out but the thing about fding is that it creates more block stun for you. ky shouldn't end his strings in greed sever because he can be punished once you block it, and this move is not hard too hard to block. i believe you can 2k >2s>2d>oki rape. if he spaces it at max range, no big deal you won't be able to punish it but you now can start attempting to run your offense. you want to keep an eye out for resets especially stun dipper frc.greed sever rc can also be used. be careful of your 2k's because ky can greed sever over them. If ky has 25% tension and he ends his string in cse; block it by all means because cse has an extension that gives him frame advantage and you cannot stroke underneath it. getting in might cause a lot of problems because you have to ultimately deal with moves like 5hs, 6p, and vapour thrust. you might want to dash break and do moves low to the ground. you can also throw tk notes at him to get him to block to close the gap between you and ky. you can stroke underneath all of ky's fireballs or you can iad over them and when you get him blocking up close. i-no becomes gay-mode and rapes. ky has a pretty free hitbox for most of i-nos combos. watch out for uppercuts ,5p's, 2p's, and 2k's. these can all be solved by properly dash braking and using reversal proof oki and applying meaty notes. the only things that make some issues for i-no block strings and such is that ky stands smaller than i-no.

  10. starting on offense truthfully is more of a player thing and not a character thing. can you make the opponent do certain things? mind games...yadda yadda
  11. 6hs can be used at the start of the round against certain characters and it is okay to use as anti-air given you use it at the right range. people who play fighting games know what spacing is. 6hs is not a poke
  12. i do recall hs stroke being plus 1 on block i dont abuse the move but numbers don't lie

  14. if s stroke doesn't counter hit..you get a free ticket in axl techs : you airthrow him he doesn't : you're in
  15. damage is damage don't spend more than 25% on any combo starting with jk or 2k unless you will kill them same thing with throw frc (40% proration is a bitch) how you spend your tension in the match is highly situational keep that in mind. counter hit s stroke nets you massive damage tensionless and if you do the correct follow up (66 jd >delay vcl> 5p> 5s©.....) and they burst, thats a free reset. just wanted to fix that
  16. starting the match blocking against axl isn't bad either. if axl throws out the wrong move he lets you in and thats no good for him because 5p,2k beats about every normal he has up close.
  17. don't think about comboing. think about getting the knockdown. think about mix up. then think about comboing. you want to start the match in their face. good pokes for the start of the match against axl sstroke if counterhit (burst bait combo) they still lose about 50% life if not they lose 60% 2s -> hcl tk sdive 5k hcl wait for them to backdash xx hcl he puts you out: play safe stroke under stuff iad over stuff always wait after blocking 2p because he will string into rensen

  22. i think on the ground you can instant block gravedigger and punish it with 5k/5p/ and shit i learned of this in a combo video

  25. if you can't do the 360 method then do what works fastest for you. the reason why the 360 method exists because its fast , easy to remember (it flows; everything else is eh), and not really hard to fuck up.
