I'd be very disappointed if there wasn't more inclusion of Sega elements since in their info-graphic card it states that Fighting Climax is supposed to be a "Dengeki vs Sega" project, not "Dengeki x Sega". Absolutely nothing, I'm just saying that if retelling stories was a gripe of CoV then that's silly since SRW does it all the time. I imported the original CoV and I enjoyed it for its purpose of fanservice. If we get down into "is it a good game" then yes, I'm just going to bring up SRW [a series which is pretty much the sole blueprint for crossover RPGs] again but just leave it at that lol. -

Cross of Venus was no worse than your typical SRW game lol and I was more referring to their "roster" selection for that game probably being a strong indicator of who's getting in on this one, with obvious recent airings helping to mix it up some. And so what if Sega characters have games dedicated to them? I think having light novel series is alot more enduring, especially when you consider the multiple mediums they've branched out into. Sega hasn't had a real good crossover [lol PXZ], especially in fighter format, so there's alot of potential, especially with older series. Seriously, just give me Vectorman and I'll get hyped, also an End of Eternity character would be cool to play as, and if we're going to get a real fighter, give me Ryo from Shenmue instead of a Virtua Fighter character. Also can we have Sonic in NOT Smash lol [probably not but whatever]. Heck I don't even like Jet Set Radio and I think that'd be cool, and for shits n' giggles a Virtua-On character [like shrunk down lol] would be cool. Really I'm just fearing this to turn out to be ANOTHER bishoujo fighter...which there's nothing "wrong" with that but I hope they don't limit options for pandering... EDIT: OH! And just because I really liked the game, give me a Binary Domain character, can make them like Saki/Chris lul -

Nico has ALOT of things and restrictions which pretty much provoke "serious" or frequent users to get premium memberships, it's part of the reason the service has been able to actual make a profit of itself in its first year. Also yeah, nothing of value, eh, guess I'll wait for 4Gamer and Sony's presentations and hope for some actual play v.v

Stream with Sadira, like the new character portraits on the HUD EDIT: So this isn't a redesign, it wasn't Sadira we originally saw in C.Thunder's vid, cool that they worked a tiny bit of story element into stuff. Also making your own walls to perform a wall jump, get that shit outta here lol

Yeah been watching people grind out training mode alot today [so jelly ; -; ] Repeat Proration is pretty harsh which is good, means doing these kinds of loops yield little payoff. Also yeah, Extra mode gives you some really paper armor and your damage output is pretty bad, saw someone do the same combo from Quick to Extra and it did nearly 1/2 what it did. -

It's not an infinite, just a loop, can only go for 9 reps, does crap damage, and also this was done on the PS3 ver which doesn't have ver 1.01 patch yet so it might not even "exist". Either way it's far from something alarming. There's also a better and faster loop. You get a different Phantom Break for Quick and Hard style, Extra doesn't have access to it, also White Mikoto and L aren't shown. -
GAMEPLAY!!! Off-screeen, Preview from a French site So it seems to essentially be a 3-on-3 system with each team being comprised of 2 primary combatants and then having a 3rd support/Striker character, I'm curious how that works out if both primary characters are being controlled by actual players, do they share the support? Do you have to be careful how you spend it? Also those intros are super cool...but super long lol no ones gonna want to stick around for them...ever ; -; but I do like the Victory Burst animations~ Anime: OFF [ON] Well I'm pretty sure they're trying to let JoJo's hype rock, but once that starts to die down and this game is closer to release, they'll be like "oh btw---JOJO'S!" Also their engines seem RADICALLY different, I doubt there'd be much reusable art assets.

Well it's a DP, so unsafe on block is a given, but non-comboable!? That'd be lame .v. it'll probably be more akin to a combo ender than an extender at the very least. I'm more interested in learning about the cooldown on Stances as that could heavily affect his combo rate outside of OD. -

Well that's cool, but I'm not a JoJo's fan. I don't know anything about the series, and due to the celebratory nature of this game I was thinking that it would be a great entry point into the series [assuming everything is left as in tact as possible ; w; ] So I am genuinely glad I didn't import this, because due to my inability to resist anything in a giant oversized box and the fact that I REALLY like this game's OST would mean I would've wasted like some $300 All I hope for now is a disc release and Bamco's new found generosity when ti comes to bringing over these kind of games, I'm not expecting something as extravagant as the the Japanese limited edition, but long as I get that OST I'll be all set = w=b -

TRIPLE POST!! I forgot to mention that they changed announcers, which makes me super sad if there's no option to have the Maximum Impact guy back .v. Anyways here's a translation of the trophies before I go to bed, conditions are all there and so are most of the names which I'll fix in the morning, but yeah SUPER easy platinum... -

Ok so after watching some limited streams: - Game still has "janky" animation but like the PV showed the game runs much faster than either PB or PBAC - PS3 ver install probably can't come fast enough, for one reason or another there's a load screen from the end of the match to the victory pose [it's not long or that bad, but obviously noticable. Load times overall are relatively good, so install should make it that much better] - SUPER import friendly, like all of the main option categories are in English along with the training options and most of the network settings .o. - Sophie seems like a fun character, lots of riding on her [skate]blade - Ende uses her mech hand as a literal extension of her own and also has AEGIS REFLECTOR [i expect silliness from this] - Shizuka, pretty typical iaido [not that there's anything wrong with that :3] also cross through...RUN!? -

Well keep in mind, your offense and defense are going to be significantly lower so they'll probably be glass canons, but I do agree, having double meter will be interesting. Also keep in mind this is a whole new game, no telling what other nuances there could be...the possibilities + w+ -
